Co-op Childcare Waterloo

We were lucky to choose this nursery and has been a saviour through the pandemic. Our daughter loves coming here and always comes out to meet us, looking like she’s just been interrupted in a game. We get updates throughout the day via an app with observations and also receive more thorough assessments regularly. She has had two key workers, as the first one left and bonded really nicely with both of them. The place is on a side street and has a garden at the back, which is also facing a small green, this is nice as it means that the kids are not playing right next to cars. Easy to deal with for administrative side. Things are in order, on time and procedures are put in place. Affordable for the area as well.

The staff at Co-op Childcare Waterloo are very dedicated to the children, and they really are the reason why we are so pleased with this nursery. The children are very happy to go there, and staff are generally very happy to update us on our little one’s days, despite the hectic environment.

My daughter has been at the nursery for less than a year and she has truly blossomed during her time at this nursery! Everything from her social skills has come on faster than I ever imagined. The staff are so welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy to address any queries or questions about my daughter’s day to day learning. The senior early years practitioner, she is a great asset to the nursery. I can’t praise all the ladies enough for all their work with my daughter! Not a day has gone by that she hasn’t wanted to go to nursery and we look forward to seeing how she grows in the next year!

My son loves to come here. He’s changed and grown up so much! Thanks to the team my baby actually started to speak the three languages we speak! The teacher in the caterpillar room welcomes him so warmly, that was difficult for him going on to the next stage in butterfly room! But luckily he finds his new teacher treats him as a second son! So we are very happy with the nursery. Sadly we have to move city for work so it will be very difficult for him to leave all his friends and teachers!

My son has been in this nursery since 2019, when I pick him up he is always smiling, as a parent you want your child to come into a nursery that they are always happy to go in. I have three children and I have used different nurseries, but since my son has been here, I must say this is the best nursery.
The staff are really friendly, they always welcome my son with a smile on their face, the environment of the nursery is always clean and tidy. Thank you.

I have known Waterloo Co-op Childcare Day Nursery since 2017 when my oldest son joined. He has now moved but I have also chosen this nursery for my youngest. The staff are professional, friendly and very competent. Their learning infrastructure is quite effective and I could notice very closely how quickly my children were developing. I particularly enjoy their digital daily records, which allow me to check up on how my child is doing and what activities they have performed, with photos included. I feel my child is safe and in a developing environment. I recommend.

Overall, really nice and professional team. Can improve on communication as the app, where information is relayed of my child’s activity, is not always updated in full on the day. Although that is a small thing as the team do update me when I collect her. Overall, would recommend, my daughter seems happy there and is having fun.

Most staff are pleasant and polite except for times when opening times can be delayed and with no apology from the responsible person. Very good service for my family overall. I am thankful for the good-natured and kind nursery practitioners that provide warm care for my child, the lovely kitchen staff that makes yummy meals and the manager with a warm smile always. Thank you.

Very happy with the nursery for my kids! They are always excited to go and the staff members are very friendly and supportive and keep them engaged with learning and fun activities. We get regular updates via the app and the meals are varied and interesting! The outside space is also utilised well and the kids get good exposure to messy/water play! Big thank you to the team for looking after them so well!
