Claires Court Nursery School

I haven’t got a bad word to say about Claires Court Nursery, we absolutely love it and would recommend in a heartbeat! My daughter attended for two years and my little boy has recently started. The staff are nurturing, knowledgeable and approachable. We get great feedback on the children’s progress and on the odd occasion my son has been upset on drop off I’ve had an email an hour or so later to reassure me all is well! The nursery is a great size with lovely outdoor facilities and the options for afternoon activities are excellent (ballet, French, cold cooking etc). Finally, the flexibility on sessions is great.

Claires Court Nursery is a wonderful nursery setting with caring members of staff who plan excellent activities for the children to engage in. My son thoroughly enjoys his time at the nursery and is always talking about the fun and exciting things he has taken part in. I enjoy reading his progress reports at the end of each term which include pictures and quotes of things he has said and shows how far he has come. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

There has been a complete transformation of our twins since starting at Claires Court Nursery. I wish we had enrolled sooner.

They are always excited (well almost!) about going, despite the early start, compared with our previous nursery. Their current teacher has found the perfect balance of nurture and encouragement to get them having fun while learning. Little tricks, like getting them to write their name on their snack boxes has made an interesting routine out of what could be seen as a ‘boring’ task. They don’t even know that they are learning but come home with so much new information to tell us.

I would have no reservation in recommending the nursery to anyone who wants their children minds and bodies stimulated in a safe and caring environment.

I moved my daughter to this nursery on the recommendation of a previous parent. I have been astounded at the change I have seen and how much she is thriving at Claires Court. Developmentally, my daughter has gained skills which have exceeded my expectations for her age. The staff are caring, nurturing and very experienced which is reflected in the calm and happy environment within the nursery. The outside facilities are wonderful and I love that the staff take the children on ‘explorations’ of the grounds, incorporating skills such as numeracy or shape recognition. The day-to-day running is well organised and feedback is readily available, both formally and informally. I have since recommended the nursery to a family member (the highest accolade!) and am counting down the months until my youngest can join the nursery, as I know she will love it there.

Nursery fully caters for the working parent who can leave their children knowing they are really looked after and educated. Claires Court carefully introduces a school pattern and the children are fully encouraged to be independent and responsible, whilst having a fulfilling, fun and happy day. The staff recognise when children are ready to move to reading and writing and make this a fun part of the nursery day along with the many other activities in and out of the class rooms: cold cookery, ballet, French, playground breaks, growing plants etc. A huge thank you to Claires Court Nursery for bringing the best out in my daughter.

This is a very well run nursery, the routines and structure they have in place really help the children develop their independence and settle well. The activities are varied and interesting and they have a great mix of fun and educational tasks.

My daughter attended Claires Court Nursery from September 2016 until July 2018. She was a very shy and clingy child when she started and struggled to be separated from us but over her time at CC she developed beyond recognition in terms of her confidence and resilience as well as developing her social and academic skills. The staff are fantastic and adored by the children and the activities are well planned and varied for both the children’s enjoyment and their progress. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone (apart from the fear that there wouldn’t be a space for my youngest daughter to attend when she is the right age).

Claires Court Nursery is such a wonderful place. The staff are brilliant and the facilities are very impressive. The nursery provides the children with a very solid foundation in numbers, phonics and self-care – our sons were so well-prepared for their first year at school. Most importantly, they absolutely loved going to nursery every day. They adored the staff and still talk about everyone now. We can’t wait to send our youngest!

My 3-year-old daughter loves this nursery! The staff are really warm and great with kids. There seems to be a good balance between organised activities to stimulate the children and unstructured free play. The indoor and outdoor facilities are brilliant. My daughter really enjoys ballet, PE and forest school lessons which she probably wouldn’t get elsewhere. She has only been there a couple of months but has settled in quickly and made some good friends. She is particularly impressed with the selection of dressing-up clothes available!

Our child started in the two-year-old room in November. The staff members were all very welcoming and caring. This was and is still apparent by how happy our child has been since starting. Claires Court provides a nurturing environment and we are very pleased with every aspect of the nursery.
