My 3-year-old who is currently in early years is so settled and absolutely loves his days there. All of the different activities he does and the routines make us know that he will transition to school in September really well.

They are children friendly and very organized. My children enjoy the tea time and the food, which they keep saying until we get home.

July 26, 2022 at 12:00 amA great nursery with an amazing and cooperative staff. My daughter was so shy before going to the nursery but now her personality has changed positively with a remarkable improvement in her writing and reading skills of letters and numbers.

August 2, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little boy has come on leaps and bounds since going to this nursery. He started here when he was 1.5 years old, and he is doing exceptional. Sometimes he will come out with things that he has learned at nursery whilst at home, which I am amazed at. He’s more confident, and he loves attending. The staff are great; they always inform me of any concerns, they provide comfort, and they really make me feel at peace knowing he is in capable hands. The educational side is brilliant. He gets homework, which we complete at home (he’s 2 years 10 months currently), and they consider all cultures and religions. I would really recommend this nursery and the staff. When I pick my little one up, he is smiling from ear to ear, and he will talk to me about how much fun his day has been in the car and tell me all about his friends. The price may seem high, however, I feel that you get more than your money’s worth! My child’s needs are met, and he is such a happy little boy. Thank you, Children’s 1st!

February 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been at nursery since he was 9 months old. He will be leaving Children 1st @ Leicester in September. It will be sad for both me and my son. The nursery staff here from day dot have gone above and beyond, even down to the cleaner, who has formed an incredible bond with my boy, I can see the love between them whenever I collect him, letting him help her hoover. My son is on the Send register he has been supported and encouraged and understood by every member of staff. The manager/senco has been incredible along with all other members of staff that have supported, played, soothed, taught and loved my child. I can not thank, praise or recommend this nursery enough.

February 20, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Children 1st @ Leicester since he was 8 months old. The change in him has been amazing! The staff really take care of him and teach him new things all the time, I feel at absolute ease when he is in the nursery. The staff are all so polite, very informative and always put the children first. He has a relationship with all the staff in his room and they always keep up with the new things he does which shows they really pay attention! At Children 1st it’s like your child has a family outside of the home. The staff are reassuring, the food options are amazing and the children are well taken care of. I have never had a bad feeling or felt uneasy and the staff always listen to my needs and they’re always met in regards to my child and they give the best advice! Thank you for always taking care of my little one! We will always be grateful for making those early years enjoyable!

She adores her teachers who show her care and attention, they are all lovely, polite, professional and welcoming at all times including the management team.

February 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been going to Children 1st @ Leicester Day Nursery, she absolutely loves it, the staff are always welcoming and actually care about your child. They really take their time chatting to parents. They always ask me how my daughter’s been every time I drop her off and when I pick her up they tell me everything that she’s done which is so lovely, they even provide a book which states everything your child has been up to.
Me and my partner love this nursery and we’re so glad our daughter is in good hands!

March 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son joined in September 2022 when he was 9 months old. Since the first tour, we knew this was the place for him! Every single member of staff has been warm and welcoming, and they always go over and above for each child! We are greeted each morning with smiles from the staff and our son is always excited to go. They have encouraged his personal development so much in such a short space of time, his confidence has come on leaps and bounds and his personality is shining through. All the staff take the time to genuinely get to know your child and you as parents, this is so reassuring as you know that the care you give your child is reciprocated at nursery. Even at the end of a long day of playing we are always greeted with the biggest smile on our son’s face and all the staff are still smiling too! You can really see they enjoy and take pride in their work as it shows on all the children’s faces each and every day. Thank you to each and everyone for everything you do for our family!

The staff are warm, friendly, caring, and extremely professional. The facilities are just wonderful. It is always spotless. His development has been absolutely nourished and he is such a confident, happy little boy due to this. He loves attending nursery and we feel how safe and cared for he is there.

March 24, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child started here in 2020 and from my very first visit I knew it was the nursery that I would choose, all the staff are lovely friendly and welcoming and they personally get to know you and your children, it’s very clean and modern and the food is also really good cooked by the on-site chef (tried it at Christmas fete and was really impressed). My child started as a baby and is now in early years and loves going to nursery she always comes home and tells me something new she has learnt or sings me a song. They keep you up to date with the cute little activities they do and post pictures which is really nice. My needy baby started in October last year and he also loves going to nursery I can’t get him to leave until he has gone over to every individual staff member and said goodbye. They are so accommodating and I can’t recommend them enough I go off to work reassured that my children are happy enjoying themselves and safe there is no better feeling.

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child’s been attending the nursery since last summer when he started in the baby room and then moved up to the next room this year. Since the beginning the standard of care from everyone across both rooms has been very high, he settled in really fast and he’s already made friends and seems to genuinely enjoy his time at nursery which puts my mind and heart at ease, knowing that he’s in safe hands and having a good time. I’ve also noticed a difference in how much he’s learning at nursery as he’s continued to develop over time, it’s also helped him become even more sociable and learn new skills. He absolutely loves the food at nursery, the rooms are always very clean and I feel like his carers have really gotten to know him and his preferences. I love the weekly updates that I get through the app and everyone is always very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the Children’s 1st Nursery to any prospective parents looking for a full-time nursery!
