February 25, 2023 at 12:00 amAll staff go above and beyond to ensure my child’s needs are always met, from allergies to dietary requirements, all staff cooperate effectively and with care, putting my wishes first always. As a parent who is a huge worrier, I am truly so grateful I can trust the team with my child’s daily care and education. My child absolutely loves coming to the nursery and I can only thank the staff for the lovely, caring, smart and fair child she is becoming!

February 25, 2023 at 12:00 amI cannot thank this nursery enough! From the moment I went to have a look around ready for my son starting I have always felt so happy with them. My little boy settled straight away and has come on leaps and bounds. My little boy is always talking about his teachers and has an amazing bond with his key worker. All nursery teachers are fantastic and I just want to say thank you to every single one of you! For anyone considering this nursery, I say go for it, you won’t be disappointed, far from it.

March 2, 2023 at 12:00 amThis nursery is amazing and my son absolutely loves it, he always comes out with a massive smile and is ready to tell us about his fantastic day at nursery. Since starting the nursery he has become a confident striving little boy. Children 1st @ Bilborough communication is brilliant and professional, the staff is so understanding and listens to any worries you have. They do exactly what the nursery is named and always put the children first.

Very happy that I chose this nursery for my son as it ticked all the boxes. Very welcoming setting from the minute I went to view it.

March 14, 2023 at 12:00 amI have two daughters and they have both attended Children 1st @ Bilborough Day Nursery since a very young age.
The staff go above and beyond and they are all very approachable and have big smiles on their faces.
I have had to change my nursery pattern a few times due to working hours changing and they have been very supportive with this, ensuring start and finish times have been manageable for me.
I have one daughter that is now in primary school and is top of the class with her maths and writing and I always say this is because of Children 1st as they spent so much time with her and were very patient and caring.
My youngest daughter still attends Children 1st as she is always happy and smiley in the mornings and ready to leave for nursery.
She always says to me, I love my teachers mummy they are very kind and they make me happy.

March 14, 2023 at 12:00 amMy twins are 4 and joined the nursery when they were 2 from another preschool that they attended. At that preschool, they were very negative about my son’s behaviour and acted as though there was something wrong. Within a few weeks at Children 1st @ Bilborough Day Nursery they helped me and him learn and they showed willing to help and we weren’t an inconvenience, honestly, it was the best decision I have made. Every single one of the staff treats the children with love, understanding and takes time to tell you everything.
I would recommend this nursery because of how they operate and most importantly, because of how much the staff genuinely care.

March 14, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter really enjoys and looks forward to going to nursery every morning and I am so pleased with the progress and confidence she has gained since being at Children 1st Bilborough. All of the staff are genuinely caring and professional. I am always kept up to date on my childs development with regular assessment reports through the parent portal. The teachers engage very well with all of the children and nothing is ever too much trouble. The nursery facilities and learning spaces are always clean and fit for purpose 10/10

June 18, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son likes going to the Nursery, and the teachers always welcome each child into the Nursery in the morning, which is very happy. I couldn’t be happier with the progress and confidence he’s made with Children 1st Bilborough. All the staff are genuine, professional and caring. Through the regular evaluation report on the parent website, I am kept abreast of the latest development of the child. The teachers get on well with all the children. Nursery facilities and study spaces are kept clean frequently.

June 18, 2023 at 12:00 amAbsolutely outstanding Nursery. My daughter started in September 2022 and since then she’s progressed so much in herself and her speech has come on tremendously. I’m so proud of her and to the staff at Children’s 1st Bilborough, I really could not thank them enough. You guys are great and you’ve made nursery such an amazing experience for her. She loves nursery, loves all her teachers and friends. It is such a great Nursery, I’m glad I made the choice for my daughter to learn and grow there.

I feel proud of the things she has achieved, and the confidence she has built, and that’s all thanks to the amazing staff at the nursery.
I would 100% recommend this nursery to all parents.

The staff is trained to high standards and very helpful with parents needs. I can recommend this nursery for all parents. Thank you Children 1st Bilborough.

June 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been going to this nursery since November 2022 and she gets so excited when we arrive. She loves the staff, the activities are fun and they help her to learn at the same time. The building is also secure and slightly hidden from the main road which makes it feel very secure.

June 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child absolutely loves this nursery and he looks forward to going every time I take him! He’s very attached to the staff and speaks about them when we’re at home all the time which just shows how caring they all are!
Even as a parent, the staff are all welcoming and friendly I’ve never encountered or felt unwelcome when dropping or collecting my child from nursery they’re all amazing!
Every day is different with activities and games they play from art to music to dancing, playing outside etc. and they helped with potty training and were fabulous which gave me that extra push to do it!
Can not fault Children 1st in any way, definitely a five-star nursery without a doubt and would recommend anyone to take their child here!

One of the best in the NG8 area. Both my little girls have attended Children 1st. The staff are always amazing! I feel my children are always safe and being cared for. Lots of communication and overall learning and development are at the heart of it all.
I will be sad for my little one to leave to go on to school.
Thank you to all the staff over the years, you have been amazing.

June 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son currently attends this nursery and has done for over 2 years. He will be leaving this year to start school. I can not recommend this nursery enough. The nursery itself is lovely, with all the individual rooms kept exceptionally clean and decorated very child friendly. You instantly get a sense of assurance that your child will be happy and safe here. However the best thing about the nursery is the staff. They are all so friendly, approachable and brilliant with the children. My son has been in Benjamin Bunnies, Peter Rabbit and now Early Years and I think the staff have been consistently great throughout. When he first started he was very shy however I have seen him come out of his shell and become so much more confident. He has made great connections with his teachers and he will really miss them. I also have an older son who attended this nursery and I had the same great experience with him. I will be sending my daughter here too as in my opinion it is the best nursery around.

June 21, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started Children 1st Bilborough 4 years ago and will be leaving in August 2023 to start her next chapter at big school in September. She enjoys going to nursery every day and I can’t thank all the staff enough for all the love and support they’ve given her during her time here. The staff go above and beyond every day.
A massive thank you to all who have looked after her and given her the skills she needs to move onwards and upwards! To every member of the team from the baby room to Early Years – Thank You for all your support. You will be missed when we leave

July 21, 2023 at 12:00 amWe had to remove our son from this nursery. They brought out someone else’s child to us at pick up on one occasion and no action was taken, left our son in a soiled nappy on more than one occasion and when challenged on it, the previous manager said she felt our son was Autistic. Complete lies. There were many other issues but too many to mention. There are a couple of excellent staff there but also staff who mock and speak to children inappropriately from what we’ve personally seen. Our son didn’t like going here and has come on leaps and bounds since leaving.
