April 26, 2021 at 12:00 amOur son started here after transferring from another nursery. We have been thoroughly impressed with the transfer and his first two weeks at Chestnut Nursery School. He is talking far more, has made friends and wants to play rather than watch TV when he gets home.

April 30, 2021 at 12:00 amMy two year old attends two days a week and loves it. The activities on offer are brilliant and he always gets to experience a variety of different activities each week. The menu offers a wide variety of foods, some which we don’t do at home so it’s lovely for him to eat different foods. We receive weekly observations and the staff are lovely. The care he receives is great and it’s so lovely how he now comes home and tells us about his day. I know he has a great bond with the staff in the room as he always talks about them, particularly two members of staff. I think Chestnut Nursery School & Norwich Research Park is the perfect place for my child to be, I wouldn’t want him at any other nursery. Thank you for doing such a fabulous job especially throughout this past year.

It is managed exceptionally well and all staff have very high standards of conduct.
It is a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment that is very well resourced.
The buildings and grounds are fabulous with plenty of outdoor space and lots of planned activities.
The respect and kindness shown to me and my little girl who has special educational needs was excellent and I know that she was a very happy and confident little girl in their care. Her needs were met in a thoughtful and proactive way and the team went over and above to support us as a family. Monitoring and reporting was very good and daily feedback helped me to feel respected, listened to and cared about. My little girl made significant progress with her development in the care of her key workers and the nursery’s SENCO.
All staff were friendly and polite at all times but I was especially impressed by her key worker, SENCO and the management team.

June 18, 2021 at 12:00 amWe love Chestnut Nursery School at Norwich Research Park. My daughter has enjoyed every day since she joined in February 2020. It is an amazing place! The staff are brilliant and always create an environment that is calm and encourages exploration and creativity. My daughter particularly likes meal times and I love that they have an onsite chef who delivers fresh, varied meals for the children to eat.

July 7, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has attended Chestnut Nursery for the past three years since he was a toddler and I cannot thank all of the team enough for the fantastic care, support and pre-school education that has provided for him. It has been a first-class experience throughout, where they have completely cared for his holistic well being and personal development, with great care and attention to detail. When my son broke his wrist, the manager even hand-delivered a card that had been made by the other children to our house, and they gave him fantastic care and support as he recovered. Outstanding communication, great leadership and absolutely wonderful ‘key persons’ in each of the rooms he’s been in as he grew up. Excellent transitions throughout the rooms, making sure that he settles in well and is always supported. They were exceptional during covid – staying open to support all key workers. This is, in my opinion, by far the best nursery in Norwich. Their holiday camps are fantastic too.

July 8, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been coming to NRP for a year now and he has completely flourished in their care. Their focus on learning through play including using the wonderful outside space they have all year round has really benefitted him. The team are all excellent and he has built some wonderful relationships with them, running in every day without even looking back. It makes me feel comfortable that he is well cared for whilst I’m at work and talks vividly about all the fun things he’s done each day on the journey home. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

July 20, 2021 at 12:00 amChestnut Nursery School is a fantastic nursery. The staff are so dedicated to the wellbeing, happiness and development of the children. My son has thrived during his year there, made many friends and always comes home happy. The facilities are fantastic and they do something different and fun every day. They give the children activity packs to take home in the holidays and created an outdoor space to read with your child, their service is personal and caring. They kept us well informed and made us feel included and reassured throughout the pandemic. Very pleased and reassured he got the best start in life.

I currently have one child in pre-school and one in the nursery, and they are both learning so much and enjoying being there. The staff always do so much to help if we have any concerns. All of the staff know and care for each child individually and are brilliant at caring for specific needs. The children spend lots of their time outside and do really fun activities. Thank you so much for all you do!

My daughter loves going to nursery and adores her key worker which for me just demonstrates the caring and nurturing environment they provide. Top class nursery!

August 24, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park since her first birthday. I have found the nursery to be fantastic. They have been so supportive and nurturing. The correspondence and updates from the nursery are great, I love seeing photos and videos of what my daughter has been up to on the app and the management team respond quickly to any enquiries. The outside space is amazing and spends so much time playing and learning outside in the different garden areas. I have always been impressed with the varied and healthy menu that’s offered to the children and that all food is prepared and cooked on site. My daughter has enjoyed her time at Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park so much and will miss it and the staff when she starts school. I would recommend Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park to everyone. Thank you!

My daughter really enjoyed her time at Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park.
The outdoor space is amazing! The environment is warm and comforting with child-friendly facilities.
The staff are approachable and caring, paying attention to the individual child’s needs. Almost daily updates are sent to the parents with photos which we loved to see.
The management team has always been supportive and understanding of us.
We really miss the Chestnut Nursery days…..so much fun……so wonderful teachers!

Our little boy started there a few months ago and settled in really quickly, he absolutely loves going to nursery and is thriving. The facilities and the activities are organised thoughtfully and with care. We feel so lucky to have found such a brilliant nursery for our son!

February 2, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son joined the holiday club for the summer holidays. At first, he was a bit nervous and upset as it was a new environment but after some patience and time, the practitioners calmed him down and updated me later in the day with how he was feeling and doing. When I collected him at the end of the day he was very happy with the whole experience and couldn’t wait until his next session. He made loads of friends in his time there and did loads of unique and fun activities, bringing home some lovely pieces of art he created such as a dragonfly made from sticks and leaves. Myself and my partner have been so impressed with the practice that we book him in every half term and he is very excited to go.

March 8, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending the nursery since July 2022. She is currently in the baby’s room. She is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. Her development has excelled, and this is down to the fantastic staff at the nursery. She is really settled here, and we can’t fault any of the staff. They send us regular updates and photos via the app and also send us regular activity ideas, which we can do at home to support our daughter to develop further. I would recommend this nursery.

My daughter’s learning progress has been outstanding, and she surprises us every day with new skills and knowledge she has picked up at school.
The teachers are not only qualified and experienced but also display a genuine love and understanding for children. Their commitment to nurturing each child’s individual capabilities and interests is truly commendable. They have shown remarkable patience and dedication in helping my daughter grow both academically and socially.
In addition, the administrative staff is efficient and responsive, making communication between the school and parents seamless.
We feel extremely fortunate to have found Chestnut Nursery School. It offers a supportive, engaging, and nurturing environment that has given us peace of mind as parents, and more importantly, it’s a place my daughter is excited to go every day.

They are not only highly qualified professionals but also caring individuals who fostered a warm and nurturing environment for the children. Each teacher displayed a genuine passion for early childhood education and went above and beyond to create a stimulating and inclusive setting. They took the time to understand individual needs and interests, ensuring my little one felt valued and encouraged in their learning journey.

July 28, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park for a year and a half. He started in Toddlers and then moved up to Pre-School/Term Time! He has absolutely flourished here and he thoroughly enjoys going to nursery every day that he’s in! He has come on leaps and bounds since being at Chestnut Nursery School @ Norwich Research Park and a special thank you goes to the staff members in Toddlers, Pre-School and Term Time as they have been incredibly supportive and nurtured him. As well as all of the other incredible staff too! We can’t recommend Chestnut Nursery School enough! We have always felt comfortable leaving our son there, knowing he is safe and happy. So thank you for easing our minds and helping our son to flourish. You are all amazing!

July 31, 2023 at 12:00 amI have nothing but praise for the nursery in all aspects. The girls in the Innes Term Time room are so lovely and my son loves going to nursery and always comes home happy having had so much fun. They accommodate needs such as naps or avoiding naps depending on plans outside of nursery. Handover is thorough at pick up. We are kept up to date with my sons progress and were supported so well with his speech development. We are pleased to be sending our second son in September to the same room.

August 4, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter started at Chestnut Nursery School at 15 months and is now leaving to go to school. Our son also attends the nursery. We have had a fantastic experience with the nursery. The children are happy, feel safe and are developing rapidly. The staff take great enjoyment in helping them succeed. They eat healthy food which they enjoy. They have developed wonderful friendships and have access to a super outdoor space and meditation room. They engage with parents very well – stay and play, open days and parents evenings. We are looking forward to our eldest child’s graduation! Thank you.
