Charters Nursery (Abbots Langley)

Team greet us with a smile and make the girls sense very welcome. To see the kids develop and learn new skills whilst at childcare centre has been a pleasure to see. Thank you very much for all the hard work each team member puts in; well done. The team at Charters have been remarkable with both my daughters.

The team are very welcoming and consistently go above and beyond to assistance you and your kid with the greatest journey.

The team, all of the team are simply angels. They take care of each kid in such a lovely way. Right from the introductory rooms through to all of the activities and the onsite food. Our daughter is vegetarian and this was handled so well by the childcare centre and also without fuss. We visited five nurseries in total and when we visited here, we fell in adore with it immediately. It is a remarkable institution and your kid will flourish with the team at YMCA. Our daughter is so lucky to be a part of this childcare centre.

It was highly recommended to me by a friend for my first kid and as soon as I knew I was having another, I signed them up on the waitlist as well.
I had some concerns with my eldest’s speech a while ago but now it’s come along really well and we can almost have full conversations with each other. I believe this is due to the fantastic work at Charters that has made his speech excel.
They’re both exhausted after a full day at childcare centre and come home really cheerful, telling us all about it.
I delight in seeing the things they’ve made during the day and pictures in their books about their development.
There are a lot of things the girls at Charters have taught my kids and I adore seeing all of them from new songs (and actions) washing hands, putting on coats/shoes, new words, new games, using the toilet independently, attentive for one another, sharing, everything.
I would definitely suggest Charters to everyone and am pleased I chose them! Both my kids adore going to Charters Childcare centre.

He recently started walking and he has enjoyed many development hurdles with the team at Charter’s. I couldn’t be happier with the journey we have every day. Updates is outstanding from Management to the team that look after our boy everyday. I look forward to reading the daily report note, highlighting how much my son has eaten (consistently eats everything!) and the carers consistently take time to chat through the days activities, how my son has been, answer any questions, and consistently smiling looking forward to the next day.
The childcare centre is clearly well managed with outstanding systems and processes in place, excellent meals and scheduled activities and all the team are well trained and supported. They all seem to thoroughly delight in what they do and this transfers through to my son who consistently has a excellent time, very rarely even looking back at me waving goodbye at drop off. It’s been 6 months now since my son joined on a full 5 days per week.

The team have made her sense very welcome and as a result she settled in quickly. We can tell how cheerful she is at childcare centre by the way she runs in every morning! At pick up, we are given detailed feedback which provides a excellent overview of the day. I am consistently impressed by the amount of activities that are created for the kids, there is consistently something new to keep them engaged. My daughter is happiest in the garden and the free-flow system means she gets to spend lots of time outside. There is also lots of opportunities for walks in the surrounding woodlands, something I know my daughter loves! Overall, we are so cheerful knowing that our daughter loves going into childcare centre every day and is looked after by a team who truly care about her. I would suggest Charters Childcare centre to anyone looking for a excellent place to send their kid. Our daughter has been at Charters Childcare centre for six months now and we are incredibly cheerful with both the facilities and the team that work there.

The team are all remarkable and really helped my son to settle in well. He has grown in self‑assurance and made lots of developments since starting here. Really pleased with our decision to send him here! We have been so pleased with Charters and would highly suggest it to others.

Both were so cheerful there and were brilliantly looked after by their key workers and the rest of the team. For me, the most important thing is that my kids spend as much time as they can outside, and Charters has not disappointed. The gardens for each room are enjoyable and allow them to run around, plus the walks they take to go on a Bear Hunt or decorate Christmas trees in the local Country Park are excellent (these walks are not a one-off, they happen regularly). The management is stellar too, and the team are supported to identify where kids need to develop further. There are consistently interesting activities for the kids and my Mum, who has managed outstanding kids’s centres for 30 years herself, says she consistently gets new ideas when she picks up her grandchildren from Charters. Outstanding setting. Both my girls have attended Charters and I can’t say enough great things about it.

She started there at 11 months old and settled in so well from the start. The team are so welcoming and you can see they adore working with kids just from my daughter’s reaction to them. She has recently moved up from the baby room into the toddler room and was sad to leave her usual carers but has settled in excellent once again with her new group. We were anxious about how she would be going back after lockdown but it was like she never left and that’s down to the team and their welcoming smiles and attentive personalities. We cannot suggest it enough! Myself and my husband are so cheerful that our daughter goes to Charters Childcare centre.

The team there are welcoming and create a inviting and attentive atmosphere with so many enjoyable activities and chances for our son to learn and develop. They keep us updated with anything we need to know. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre highly enough! Our son has been going to Charters for 7 months and has enjoyed every moment.
