September 13, 2024 at 8:04 pmThey offer such a inviting and attentive setting which you sense as soon as you step through the front door. Being smaller and more intimate than some other settings every member of team not only knows every kid but every parent by name which is so reassuring. We have started both our daughters in their baby room and we loved watching them flourish and develop as they move from room to room with the help and care of the team. I couldn’t not mention the food either, home-cooked nutritious meals served every day! We would suggest Caterpillar to anyone and know our daughters will have lovely memories of their time there for years to come. As soon as we visited this childcare centre we knew it was the one for us and we visited a lot!

October 22, 2024 at 1:26 pmI cannot suggest them enough. He absolutely loves attending and consistently gets excited once we arrive. The team are so attentive and so lovely and I wouldn’t have him anywhere else. Our eldest’s old childcare centre had a space open up, which is in our village, but my husband and I don’t want to move our youngest as we are so impressed with Caterpillar. Nothing is too much trouble, handovers are highly detailed and the owners are incredible. They help out in the rooms on a regular basis and are highly hands-on. The setting is cheerful and the range of resources is large. My son has a food allergy and the kitchen consistently provide an adjusted version of the meal so that he isn’t left out of what everyone else is having. Caterpillar is absolutely focused on the kids and I’ve never felt like it is run as a ‘business’ but everything is run with the kids first. Truly the best! Our 11-month-old son has been attending Caterpillar Day Childcare centre for the last four months.

April 1, 2025 at 6:09 pmThe team have taken time to get to know her and create a cheerful atmosphere. There is consistently plenty to do, so she is keen to get going to breakfast club every morning. Having older kids around has been beneficial to my daughter in making friends and settling into school. Cheerful to suggest. My daughter has attended the wrap-around provision for over a year and loves it.

April 7, 2025 at 3:49 amThe team are all fantastic, excellent rooms and outdoor space, and the food was consistently outstanding.
My youngest is there now and she has a exceptional time there. Thank you to Caterpillar for providing such a fantastic service. My oldest has been with Caterpillar since he was 14 months old and has now started school, which was heartbreaking as it’s the end of an era as a mum and it was so sad to leave his lovely childcare centre years behind him.

May 21, 2025 at 8:21 amMy son has settled highly easily and the transition to childcare centre has been effortless. I am a single parent and it has been a highly hard process for me emotionally having to leave my son but this childcare centre and the team in his room (Wigglies) have been highly supportive and I can’t thank them enough for making this process that little bit easier for me. My son now goes to childcare centre putting on a little moan and running to playtime… we are only three weeks in! We sense highly lucky to be a part of this community. Thank you so much again! My son has been to several nurseries before attending Caterpillars and this is by far our favourite.

June 16, 2025 at 3:28 amSo at the time is was highly strange for us. And then obviously a few months of her being at childcare centre covid happened.
But seeing how my daughter is from the handovers we parents get, using the app so we can keep an eye when busy at work and also seeing how our daughter is when she returns from childcare centre is such a delight to see. She is so cheerful and confident when she is there. And we as parents couldn’t be more happier. People say when you know you know.. we had this for our daughter and we couldn’t pick a better place for her. She has grown to be such a confident toddler and I think childcare centre does have a big impact towards this.
As well I think they have done a remarkable job during the covid times as well. Keeping everyone informed of everything. My daughter has been going since January 2020, this is mine and my partners first kid which has gone to childcare centre before.
