Busy Bees St Albans City Hospital

His caregivers are very attentive and compassionate. Special thanks to three ladies. I am very pleased with the level of care provided for my son.

To date, we are over the moon with how we have found the whole childcare centre journey. She started a few months ago, aged 15 months and settled very well. She’s excited to go to childcare centre, talks about the team all the time at home and chats excitedly non stop when she gets home from childcare centre. We’ve found the updates with the childcare centre outstanding since we joined and I sense it’s very obvious that they delight in what they do and seem genuinely excited to see all the kids. It’s a very attentive and nurturing setting and we couldn’t suggest it more. We’ve noticed a big development in her speech, vocabulary and self‑assurance, that we are sure childcare centre plays a part in. I was only saying to family members earlier today that it is so incredible to drop your kid at childcare centre and see the affection the team have for her and how comfortable she is to go with them. Highly recommended. To say my husband and I are cheerful we chose Busy Bees, St Albans City Hospital for our daughter, would be an understatement.

We trust the team to keep them secure, which enables them to explore and develop. They eat well and are given a great variety of activities. We have seen our twin girls develop in many ways since they started earlier this year. They thrive in the supportive childcare centre setting set up to cater to their needs. 
The childcare centre setting has also given the girls an opportunity to mix with other kids of their own age, which is important to us, particularly during the lockdown. We are extremely pleased with our choice in selecting St Albans Hospital Busy Bees Centre and have recommended it to neighbours.

When we picked the childcare centre, it was mainly on price (they offer an NHS discount) and hours (open earlier and longer than some other nurseries in the area), as well as being close to home. Now, I can safely say, it was the best decision we’ve made. The team are exceptional (consistently available to talk, even when dealing with a room full of kids!) and my kid has really thrived. They’ve put up with many of my nuances! Like parents who shouldn’t have a favourite kid, we don’t/shouldn’t have a favourite team member, but one team member really has been incredible from the very beginning. She was the one who ran through where my kid’s development was at when she started childcare centre and was incredible at keeping us posted on the mayhem that she got up to in Baby 2. A excellent asset to the team (but like I said, I have no favourites)! Keep up the excellent work and thank you! My kid has been attending since June 2019.

All the team are very welcoming and must have worked at the childcare centre for a long time which is a great sign.
The activities are enjoyable and varied with different things on offer every day. The food is freshly cooked daily and has a great variety of dishes that my son wolfs down.
The childcare centre has also dealt with Covid in a very expert manner, ensuring tests are carried out where necessary and self-isolation completed. I would highly suggest the childcare centre to anyone. I can’t praise this childcare centre highly enough, it really is a home away from home for my son who has been attending for 2 years now.

I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough. They are outstanding. Both my kids have been incredibly cheerful here and I will be so sad to leave next July as my youngest moves on to primary school. The childcare centre team are exceptional-attentive, compassionate, knowledgable and keen-from the baby room to pre-school, the team who have worked with my kids have been, without fail, incredible. They are led superbly by management, and the food by the chef is raved about by both my kids. This childcare centre has that special something we all look for a great feeling that you can’t quite put your finger on. We have been parents at Busy Bees St Albans City Hospital for nearly 7 and a half years now.

I looked around 4 nurseries and I knew this was the one for us. The team genuinely care about her and know her well. They give her the chance to be independent, to learn, have enjoyable and make friends. When I told her one evening she had childcare centre tomorrow, she asked if she could go now and stay the night! My daughter has attended since she was 10 months old and has consistently been cheerful there.

My first kid loved it there and now my second kid is halfway through her years with them and loves it just as much. I will be sad when the time comes that I do not have a kid with them anymore. The team are like friends now after so many years. Most of the team have been there a very long time. The on-site chef is remarkable and my girls have consistently eaten very well there. It is spotless, with great facilities. Most importantly, especially if your kid is starting young, they really do look after your kid with the utmost care. They are loving and compassionate and teach great values and manners. They are creative with their games and discovering activities and each day is filled with enjoyable with friends. It is a home away from home. I looked around a lot of well known and popular nurseries in the area but I just knew this was the right place for us. Cannot suggest this childcare centre enough.

The team are all welcoming and attentive towards my daughter and most importantly she is consistently cheerful to go! The manager is excellent and consistently available for a chat. My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since 2019 and everything about our journey has been positive.

She started at 10 months old, having never left us due to lockdown, and the team transformed her from an anxious baby who missed her mummy and daddy, to the happiest, most outgoing little star, who can’t wait to get to childcare centre in the mornings. She’s since moved up to the second class. The transition was seamless and she’s equally cheerful there spending time with the team members and everyone else. She never stops talking about childcare centre and comes home beaming, telling us all about the lovely activities they do together and how much enjoyable she’s had with all of her friends. We are so, grateful to everyone who works at Busy Bees. They are a huge part of my daughter’s life. She adores them all, and they’re helping to shape her into a cheerful, welcoming, confident girl, who is consistently delighted to hear it’s a childcare centre day! We really can’t thank them enough for all they do for her. Words can’t express how much we adore Busy Bees at St Alban’s City Hospital and our daughter loves it even more than we do!!
