August 30, 2017 at 12:00 amMy daughter has settled very well into nursery. The managers and staff are lovely and always have smiles on their faces. They are very attentive and always give a report at the end of a session.
There are always a variety of toys and activities set out which help the children to develop and be happy.
The food is very good and is cooked fresh daily.
This is a brilliant nursery and I’m glad that my daughter goes here.

January 16, 2018 at 12:00 amFabulous setting – both of my children have attended since they were 13 months old. Both settle extremely quickly, clearly enjoy their time there and look forward to going back. Staff are attentive to their needs, especially with medical issues/allergies.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

January 16, 2018 at 12:00 amThroughout the December period, I was really impressed with the number of activities and fun experiences my child was involved in. My son has brought home pictures, crafts, and images of the fun he had had in nursery. He told me about each day and the fun times he experienced with his friends and teachers. He continues to enjoy his full-time place in nursery and cannot wait to move up to pre-school in September.
The teachers went out of their way, each day and week over Christmas to make each child feel special, we also loved our Christmas gift from Santa. Thank you.

Management are attentive and caring towards any specific needs and the chef creates some lovely well balanced meals.

January 30, 2018 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Busy Bees at Preston Hospital for almost a year now. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing: they always seem as excited to see my little girl as she is to see them. My daughter races into nursery every day and I have no guilt leaving her there as I know she is happy to go.
During her settling in period when she was a bit tearful, they handled us with great care and understanding. They do loads of art and her clothes are never ruined! They take care of her belongings. Nappies are included in the price so I don’t have to worry about providing them. She loves the food and she’s developed using cutlery really early which I believe is because they encourage this at the nursery. Tricky issues are handled with tact and discretion. The management are unbelievably flexible, helpful and organised. This is the 4th nursery I have used (as I have 2 elder kids) and it is the place that I have been happiest with. There is just a lovely, happy vibe as soon as you walk through the door.

February 16, 2018 at 12:00 amGreat nursery. Staff very caring and will comfort my daughter if upset on arrival and throughout the day. When unwell the staff were excellent at responding to high temps etc until I came out of work to take her home.
Management team and all the staff very approachable. Well done xx

May 25, 2018 at 12:00 amMy eldest child has been attending for over two years and my youngest is just about to start. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are very welcoming. Whether it is staff who are currently working with my eldest, ones from his previous rooms or new staff, they all acknowledge him by name and take the time to interact with my youngest.
My eldest has had special dietary requirements due to allergies and the nursery are exceedingly accommodating of this, asking for guidance and advice where appropriate and sharing their knowledge too, particularly the chef.
They ensure where possible that my son is not excluded from any activity, as a result of his allergies, altering cookery tasks to ensure he can taste the results of his efforts.
Even though each child has a dedicated key worker, the staff all have a good understanding of the daily events and each child’s needs and I find that I can speak to any of them about how my son is doing and any concerns I may have.

October 9, 2018 at 12:00 amMy child’s development has come on heaps and bounds since starting the nursery. She is a friendly little girl who has made lots of friends and enjoys going to nursery to learn and play. She enjoys the meals and the menu has good varieties of food.

My son amazes me every week he comes come and has learnt something new and also had fun, which is what it’s all about.

May 30, 2019 at 12:00 amThe staff have been brilliant with my son who has severe allergies both through consumption and touch and they have gone above and beyond to make sure he is in a safe and clean environment. At meal times they have him on a 1-1 basis so that he can’t get access to any food to which he is allergic to. He was very unsure at nursery to begin with but the staff within his room have helped make him settle though play and attention whilst providing a positive learning and social environment for him to be in.

March 15, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son is in preschool and he completely loves it. The staff have worked so hard recently with the pandemic. All the staff have always been happy and greet us with a smile every day even with the ongoing challenges they have faced. The special events Busy Bees have continued to arrange for the children are lovely. If I ever have a question its always dealt with quickly. My son is treated like a little star and it makes me feel happy and safe to leave him there with the staff who really do give their all. I will be so sad when September arrives and we will miss the Busy Bees family x keep up the excellent work and I hope you are all recognised for all you did to keep our children in care in recent times.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amThis is a lovely nursery with great facilities and super staff. I would highly recommend it. The staff are all really warm and caring and genuinely interested in the children. One of my girls has food allergies and they have always been very thorough and made me feel confident in their approach to safety.

May 26, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending this nursery for the last 2 years. The care she receives is exceptional. Varied activities that are fun and educational. The team are all amazing and have worked so hard during the pandemic, nothing is too much trouble. We are kept up to date with my daughter’s progress and what she has been doing each day, via an app that includes photos and observations. My daughter loves coming to nursery. Highly recommended this nursery.

July 5, 2021 at 12:00 amAbsolutely excellent nursery. My little boy is now in preschool and has attended since 2018. He loves it, has lots of friends and positive experiences. We can see him changing all of the time. He is confident and happy. The staff work hard to really know him, what works for him and what he struggles with. They readily accommodate these and work closely with us to achieve the best outcome for him. We will miss nursery and all of the lovely staff in September, when it is time for school! Thank you to everyone who has helped to develop my little boy and make him into the delightful, insightful and clever child he is.

February 24, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter frequented this nursery from 8 months old until now, 4 years old. I can’t ask for a better start.
She enjoys it so much every day. And I feel so comfortable leaving her every morning in the nursery. Because I know if something happens, straight away the nursery contacts us.
All the team is so friendly and speak with every parent like a big family group. It is amazing.

August 24, 2023 at 12:00 amI contacted the nursery after my son’s nursery closed overnight, leaving him with no childcare. The nursery manager was so supportive, and a place was found for him immediately.
My son was apprehensive due to the sudden change in a childcare setting, but the staff were very welcoming and helped him to settle in quickly. Within a few weeks, it felt like he’d always been at Busy Bees.
Since then, my son has had soo many positive experiences at Busy Bees. The staff really work hard to get to know the children and their individual interests. The daily activities are well-planned and tailored to the child. The staff show genuine care and compassion.
My son starts school in September. He has loved his time at Busy Bees. As a parent, it has been very reassuring to leave him each morning, knowing that he is happy and well cared for.
I would highly recommend Busy Bees.
