March 27, 2021 at 12:00 amBusy Bees Apsley have been an amazing part of our children’s live for two years. Their attention to care, elements of learning and development are brilliant. My son has particularly developed in leaps and bounds because of the child specific support from his key worker. My son adores all his teachers and the staff at Busy Bees Apsley and we as parents feel comforted that our son is so happy at the nursery, we too feel apart of the small nursery community. We highly recommend Busy Bees Apsley and all the staff that support and work at the setting.

April 21, 2021 at 12:00 amWhat can I say about Busy Bees Apsley! My son started back before Christmas when me and my husband began to return to work. We were both very anxious as we have not left him before but the girls at Apsley have been amazing and put our worries to rest. They have all been so caring and attentive to our son and we couldn’t be more grateful if we tried. They follow his routine so well, which has really helped him settle, and they have supported us through our worries. I love how we get daily updates of his nappies, feedings and sleep as well as photos and videos of him playing and learning. It always puts a smile on my face. I want to thank the girls and the manager for all the hard work they do and for taking care of our pride and joy.

The environment is safe and staff are very friendly and caring. We couldn’t have chosen a better Nursery and would happily recommend this Nursery to other parents.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amBusy Bees is an excellent nursery. Super caring staff, very communicative and always there to help. Couldn’t have chosen a better place for both of my kids. The kids feel safe and have the ability to learn, grow and develop in a safe environment. We would highly recommend this to any new parent looking for a great nursery.
As parents, communication has always been key to us and the staff at Busy Bees and the Senior Management do an excellent job in keeping us informed at all times. During the last 12 months, management has shown great leadership and excellent skill to manoeuvre the nursery through the uncertain Covid times. Communication was always clear, precise and helpful. Whenever we had any questions, everyone within the nursery was eager to listen to us and help in any way they could.
For us, this is the best nursery in Apsley and in all of Hertfordshire.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amThe staff are lovely. My little one is so close to them I could not dream of changing nursery. She has learnt loads and everyone says how advanced she is. I haven’t seen inside the nursery due to Covid-19 but from the pictures I receive it’s lovely.

The team are excellent with my daughter, continually update parents during the day on the app and give a rundown of the child’s day at the end of the shift. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter is enjoying the nursery and although she was reluctant in the first days (cried at drop-off point) the team has helped her accommodate quickly.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amI am so happy that we chose this nursery for our boys. They absolutely love it and are always excited to go in the mornings. Both had some settling issues related to not being in a nursery setting over the pandemic but I cannot fault how the staff dealt with it, and how much they love it now is testament to this! Seeing my eldest grow in confidence in pre school in particular has been amazing. The staff are kind, caring and fun, and excellent at keeping parents informed. Highly recommended!

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy two children have been attending Busy Bees in Apsley since last June. We are really pleased with the nursery, especially the staff/parent liaisons. As a parent, I feel that they really listen to parents, readily accept feedback and their communication is fantastic. It feels like nothing is too much trouble. My husband and I feel very secure sending our children there. We are always greeted with a smile and my daughter tells me how her teachers are “so nice”. I can see both our children developing well.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son attended Busy Bees Apsley until he went to school last year and my daughter is currently in Toddlers, about to move into Pre-School and they both absolutely love(d) it there. I can’t praise them highly enough. They are caring and always put the welfare and development of the children first. Throughout the pandemic they have been supportive and responsive, always doing their utmost to support me as a key worker and still needing to go to work. The manager and the whole team are absolute stars!

They pay great attention to detail to the children and their social and emotional development. They are extremely supportive of us as a family also. A great team and really an extended family to us and our children

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amFrom exiting covid, our 8-month-old was very untrusting of new faces. Which made it very scary being left in a setting she didn’t know and having not even been left with family. Busy Bees Apsley were great. Reassuring to us nervous parents. And she settled in no time. The app is amazing knowing how she’s getting on each day and live the photo observations that pop up on my phone at work. It really gives you a sense that you are still involved with their development despite returning to work. It’s a lovely nurturing environment where our cheeky little girl is being helped to grow and develop. You can see the staff really care for the children.

May 27, 2021 at 12:00 amBusy Bees in Apsley was the perfect nursery for our then 11-month-old son. He has a great bond with all of his nursery carers who look after him during the two days that he does. They have a wonderful chef on site who prepares great varied meals for the children. Busy Bees have signed up to an App called Parent Zone which is fantastic for live updates of nappy changes, food, and different things that our son has got up to. His end-of-year reviews are very thorough and encouraging. Any emails or issues that you may have with Busy Bees are always answered quickly and thoughtfully. Big fan of the company, so will recommend highly.

July 13, 2023 at 12:00 amThe overall experience is not bad. The ladies in the nursery are nice and great with the kids. My boy is happy to go to the nursery every day.
How they can get better, is the parent’s visibility on their children’s achievements and/or struggles. A parent’s day will be nice so we can get to see the room our children are playing in and get a full report on how they are doing.
Other than that, I would recommend it.

July 18, 2023 at 12:00 amMy two children have been attending since 2020 and 2022. The staff are great, so attentive and genuinely care about the kids. The nursery has had a lot of staff turnover the last year (reflective of the sector as a whole) but my children remain happy there. I know my children are safe, happy and learning new things.

July 18, 2023 at 12:00 amAlthough my child was happy here, we decided to leave as she was not developing as expected. The teaching was far below what I expected, especially around speech and language. She also had nappy rash frequently, although this did correlate with high usage of agency staff.
Meals were good and nutritious.
Indoor space looked good. Outdoor space is small, but looks nice.
Good use of an app to track their day. Would be nice to see photos though.

It’s been almost a year now and I could see a massive change in her from the time she joined from a silent watcher to a massive talker. She likes talking a lot, singing her rhymes, being more confident, started making good friends, building a strong personality. Really want to thank Busy Bees staff from the bottom of my heart for making her a better child.

My little boy looks forward to going to nursery and has lots of lovely stories to tell me about his friends and teachers when I pick him up. Staff are attentive and good at giving daily feedback on the topics being looked at in preschool and what the children have been learning through the day. The staff were supportive and caring during the settling in period.
