Bright Horizons Teddington Day Nursery and Preschool

I have had a child at this nursery since Nov’15. Since the arrival of the new leadership team in 2018, this nursery has become exceptional. Staff turnover has been reasonably low. Staff all display great care and love for the children, with a genuine interest in their lives. It is a happy place, with great facilities and a culture of care. The whole preschool class has been extremely well prepared for school.

The manager and her team provide outstanding care for the children. My son has grown in confidence and developed socially and academically. He always has a smile on his face when I pick him up at the end of the day as the breadth of activities on offer keep him engaged. All the staff are professional, friendly and caring. Thank you!

Very happy with the continuity of care and all of the staff I have met from the manager to all the staff in the pre-school room. We’ve only been at the nursery for 3 weeks but my daughter has settled in very quickly considering she can be quite shy. I’m sure this is down to the staff and a wide range of activities they put on for the kids. Pleased to see her learning new things and developing her reading and writing already. Many thanks for making this such a smooth transition.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. My son started attending during the backend of the lockdown due to his usual nursery not re-opening. We couldn’t have been more delighted in the end. The nursery itself is bright, clean, and has a very positive feel to it. It seems very safe and well managed. The staff are welcoming, professional and you can tell they really enjoy what they are doing and that they love children. My son always comes home a bit tired, cheerful and well-fed. The food choice and selection seem great and are always varied. He eats everything. Communication is excellent. We get a sheet daily stating what he has eaten and activities, along with sleep times and nappy changes, etc. The playroom and outside space are welcoming and fun environments, staff really engage with the children. Nothing seems too much trouble and can’t fault them. Highly recommended.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9-months-old ( she is now 3), she absolutely loves going to nursery. She runs in, in the morning and skips out at the end of the day. She loves being outside, and they go in the garden all year round in all weathers. She also loves all of the singing activities, and she is now coming home and teaching me the songs (and not the other way round)! All of the nursery staff are incredibly warm and welcoming to the children and parents. The nursery manager and her support are so open and helpful and maintain excellent communication channels with us as parents. This year has been particularly challenging due to the pandemic, and they have managed the change in processes in such an effective way that it has had no impact on the enjoyable experience for my daughter.

We moved to Teddington a year ago and chose this nursery for the lovely staff and modern, spacious facilities. Due to the pandemic, we postponed the starting date of our son. The management and staff were very professional, accommodating of our needs and most welcoming. Our toddler started settling in pre-school in September and we couldn’t be happier despite our initial concerns after 7 months at home.
He quickly grew very fond of all the staff and loves all the activities. It is a joy and a peace of mind to see him so happy there and developing so much. The menu is diverse and detailed feedback sheets are given every day. During the pandemic, all the staff have been exemplar in minimising the risk of infections and the impact to the children’s lives. Our 1-year-old daughter is also going to start nursery now and we couldn’t be more confident of the nursery choice we made.

My daughter loves the nursery! She settled in very quickly. I was a bit worried as I’ve never left her with anyone besides family members before. But it was a clear sign that the girls are very nice.
It’s a shame because of the pandemic I haven’t had the chance to meet them properly or been inside to see the nursery but hopefully with the restrictions easing that will change.
My daughter has learned so much from academic to social skills and I’m very happy I chose this nursery!

This is a great nursery, my daughter has been attending for 9 months now and her progression is amazing. She goes in with no hesitation and that has been the case from the start. The staff are always so kind and caring and just brilliant with her. Highly recommend this nursery.

Wonderful experience of this nursery. Caring team and our child loves attending each day with a team who truly care for her as an individual. We can reach out at any time for specific questions. Both of my children have attended this nursery and have been cared for so well. The manager and her team are just wonderful people doing a wonderful job looking after all of the little people. My little people have always been very happy. Thanks so much to everyone at Teddington nursery.
