February 12, 2019 at 12:00 amThe staff are so loving and caring with the children. They make a real effect every time a child wants to do something or play with certain toys.
I really hope that the staff stays the same as they bring so much joy to my boy when he is at nursery. Big thank you to the whole team.

February 20, 2019 at 12:00 amMy son has been at the nursery for just over a year. He loves going and I have always been very happy with the care he receives from the staff in his room. He has made lots of progress and seems to really enjoy the food and the outside area. He also particularly enjoys the music sessions.
We always get a detailed handover at the end of the day which is really useful and this is now recorded on a sheet of paper (initially it was just verbal which made it difficult to remember) – I think a record book would be more practical as the paper often gets mislaid and can be incomplete. I also don’t feel I know what activities he does every day as this is not always shared.
I feel the wider aspects of the nursery are less effective – parents sessions have been cancelled, the children’s visit from the tropical zoo was postponed (but never rescheduled) and there have never been any external visits/visitors for my son’s room. Key workers seem to change regularly and I haven’t known who it is.

May 7, 2019 at 12:00 amConsidering that finding childcare options can be a really daunting prospect, with the right environment for your child, that is also convenient for your everyday schedule, is a near impossible task. Over the last three years, we have been happy with the way that the team at Bright Horizons in Richmond continually work to meet this challenge.
For us, it is important to know that our little one has a warm and caring environment with the stimulation and personal touch that helps to meet his needs as he grows. It is natural that things are not always straightforward and when our little one has met with difficult situations, we have found that the team are ready to listen, adapt and work with us to make the changes needed, and this is really appreciated and valued by us as an integral part of the care they provide. It is a friendly, family environment, and one that works for us.

January 17, 2020 at 12:00 amOur son attended this nursery for 3 years from being 18 months old. We could not rate the staff and management enough for the hard work and dedication that they give to the children and also us families. The nursery has had a few management changes and staff changes but the team always work hard to ensure that this does not affect the children. The learning opportunities for the children especially in preschool are great and our son was very ready for school when he left in September 2019. He was always a very shy boy and lacked confidence but the team worked really well to help him improve this and he left a different child. We will always be thankful to the team for the journey they gave us.

January 21, 2020 at 12:00 amOur son has been going to Richmond Day Nursery for 8 months, he started nursery very young at 4 months old.
The nursery has supported us as working parents and made it easy for us to leave him to go back to work!
All the staff in the nursery know our son – not only the staff who work closely with him in the baby room which makes it a really friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk into the building.
We as parents could not be happier when we see how excited our son gets when he arrives at nursery.

July 28, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter had a graduation party with her friends and teachers in June. The party was very well organised and was entertaining. The kids looked very happy and quite indulged in the whole event. We loved the experience and my daughter still talks about it. Thanks to all the staff members for making such a great effort in making this journey so pleasant for all of us.

August 19, 2022 at 12:00 amRichmond Day Nursery has been fantastic for my child. They are so caring and attentive to his needs. They have catered well for his allergies at all meal times and snack times. The app provides us with great updates on what our child has been up to and all the fun and educational activities he has been doing.

September 29, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son really enjoyed attending Bright Horizons Nursery and made lots of adult and children friends. The facilities at the new location were excellent, especially the outside space. There were a few changes in management during our stay with definite improvements over time. We have found though, that since moving to a new nursery that our son’s academic education has accelerated, so perhaps this could be improved at Bright Horizons.

September 29, 2022 at 12:00 amWe have two children going to Bright Horizons in Richmond. They both love it and always walk in with a smile. The nursery manager is brilliant and so are the management and room staff. They take feedback on board and are always helpful. Thanks for all the hard work!

October 7, 2022 at 12:00 amOur child has grown in leaps and bounds since joining Bright Horizons, Richmond. The staff are kind, clever and work well together as a team. Each adult goes out of their way to ensure all of the children are taken care of. This is evident by their clear, constant communication. Staff work with parents to ensure personal, social and emotional needs are met. In addition to that, there is a daily focus on language and physical development. They have recently added sports sessions for the children as well. Bumps and scrapes have naturally occurred as our child is still finding his footing. If there is ever an accident the staff are sure to communicate on the day of, either with a phone call or a chat at pick up, with appropriate paperwork kept up to date. We could not be happier with our choice to enrol our son at Bright Horizons, Richmond.

October 7, 2022 at 12:00 amGreat nursery with lots of lovely staff and under the most recent manager and post covid things have really settled down. I’ve loved the introduction of more activities recently like football and they cook and follow a syllabus of learning. Our son is always happy and exhausted after an action packed day with a variety of activities.

October 11, 2022 at 12:00 amAwful experience at this nursery. Firstly, your child will be basically breathing fumes from the 6-lane road all day as the nursery did not even bother to build a proper fence as “this is not an OFSTED requirement” according to Management. Secondly, they organised an event where a parent came to nursery to read books on LGBT values to children as young as 3 without even notifying parents in advance. Imagine your child being put in a room with a stranger without any background checks who will be reading them “diversity” books without your prior knowledge and without an opportunity to opt-out. There is no guarantee they will not be inviting a drag queen next time without telling parents. Only go here if you have zero other options and are desperate for childcare.

January 17, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery staff have been incredibly supportive and are wonderful with my child.
The range of daily activities are brilliant and I have really noticed a positive trend in my son’s development. I couldn’t recommend the setting enough.

January 20, 2023 at 12:00 amThe nursery provides a great environment for the development of my child. The staff are friendly and professional, offering a diversity of activities throughout the day, indoor and outdoor. The food is prepared and cooked onsite with a varied menu. The extended opening hours allows flexibility for working parents. The fees are quite high, mainly due to the current cost crisis the UK is facing.

March 28, 2023 at 12:00 amWe’ve had an excellent experience at Bright Horizons, Richmond. Our son has been going since he was 1 year old and continues to thrive and our daughter is set to start in September.
The staff are very friendly and caring, going out of their way to create a fun and exciting learning environment throughout all the different rooms – ‘Science Week’ being a particular highlight for my son along with the addition of a P.E. class. We’re very happy!

July 4, 2023 at 12:00 amYou have easy access to all the staff and management team.
My son really enjoys going there, they have big rooms and a garden (they use every day). He is getting big support with his learning there and at home you notice his development.
