September 2, 2024 at 3:14 pmWe know how much he loves being at childcare centre – we see all the smiles and laughter through the regular Tapestry updates – but what has really surprised us is how much he is discovering at Magic, and how each and every team member is investing in his personal development.
The thoughtful and dedicated team at Magic make an enormous effort to enrich each day with some compassionate of special activity that elevates the childcare centre journey far beyond just the playtime-time typically seen in other nurseries in this age group.
In the last few weeks alone, our toddler has baked, learned ‘Golden Rules’ to promote positive social interaction, celebrated Black History Month and learned about Autumn, Diwali and Halloween.
There’s plenty of messy playtime, sing-songs, building blocks and storytime too – but team at Magic seem to go the extra mile to combine discovering with enjoyable.
He’s still only two and we know there’s a long way to go in his education but this feels like a excellent head start. Our two-year old has attended Magic since he was around 10 months old.

September 17, 2024 at 8:15 amHe has been attending this childcare centre since he was 13 months old and has been loving his time there. Initially, he was a shy kid but his personality has evolved over the last ten months. We see regular updates on Tapestry. The team member is extremely patient and fantastic. They invest lots of time in his development and consistently encourage him to be part of various activities. I adore the variety of activities the childcare centre has since it helps my kid to learn a lot of things, be it musical activity, baking cake, going on moon, messy playtime, storytime and many more. The carers and management are fantastic, loving and compassionate. The food served to the kids is fresh and healthy. They take special care of fussy eaters and feed them accordingly. I will suggest Magic Childcare centre as I believe that my kid is in the best and secure hands. Thank you Magic Childcare centre for the journey so far. True to its name, this Magic Childcare centre has really created magic in my son’s life.

October 4, 2024 at 2:41 pmHe has a lovely key worker but I must say all the team are extremely attentive, attentive and expert. It is such a relief to know that my baby is in great hands! He has certainly gained in self‑assurance since starting as well as improving how he eats, walks and plays. I sense very blessed to have found such a excellent start for him. My gorgeous son started at the childcare centre in August 2019 – we have both been made to sense so welcome.

November 21, 2024 at 7:15 pmShe loves coming here. All the team are fantastic and adore what they do. She has developed a lot. At Magic, I know she is absolutely in great hands. The hours are flexible.
Sadly we are moving out of the area and I hope her next childcare centre will be as fantastic as Magic.
Keep up the great work Magic Muswell Hill. My kid has been attending magic childcare centre since age one.

They showed patience whilst he settled into childcare centre and encouraged him to try new foods whilst also creating meaningful friendships. December 28, 2024 at 2:41 amShe starts school in September 2019 and we will definitely miss it. She absolutely loves it. Firstly the carers and management team are simply fantastic – attentive, compassionate and patient. The food is made fresh on-site and the extracurricular activities are interesting, varied and enjoyable. The regular updates are invaluable and it is so nice to have an insight into her day from my desk! I have had journey of work nurseries, pre-schools and other private nurseries due to having two older boys and various maternity leave rejigging and I can happily say that this is by far the best childcare centre we’ve been to. The outstanding rating is very well deserved! The only reason I’ve marked a satisfactory in the list is for the outside space as the outdoor garden is limited however the rest more than makes up for it. My little one has been coming to this lovely childcare centre since she was nine months old.

January 11, 2025 at 1:27 amWe transferred here after a bad journey from a previous childcare centre the team are loving. My kid settled very quickly, with managers on hand to resolve queries. Seeing my sons smile when it’s time for childcare centre is the best feeling. The manager and her team help to transition the kids well and provide incredible care. My son is loving his journey here.

January 11, 2025 at 3:26 pmWe had such an extensive list of things we were looking for in a childcare centre for our son: a secure, stimulating setting, an impressive Ofsted and a childcare centre that opens early! This childcare centre has all three plus much, much more. The rooms are beautifully furnished with age-appropriate toys and personalised wall-displays which are updated regularly. Team are welcoming, expert and incredibly compassionate towards the kids. The Magic team clearly work incredibly hard and seem to really adore what they do. The indoor and outdoor activities are varied and enriching and have helped our son come along leaps and bounds in both his self‑assurance and creativity. The menu is healthy and diverse and the childcare centre is very conscientious about adapting meals for kids who have any special dietary requirements. It’s really a fantastic place and certainly lives up to its ‘magic name’. Thank you to all of you, we are so grateful. We have been utterly delighted with our journey at Magic, Muswell Hill.

January 12, 2025 at 12:44 pmIt was the first I have visited, and visiting other nurseries around the area, well, you cannot compare them.
The only thing I can say, my daughter is asking to go there even on weekends, so this can make you understand how cheerful she feels there, and that’s all that matter. I am so cheerful with the choice I made to bring my daughter to this childcare centre.

January 15, 2025 at 1:35 amI can’t speak more highly of the childcare centre and all the team. They know all kids and parents by name, they are organised, attentive and exceptional at what they do. My son loves it there and is leaving soon and we will be sad to leave the childcare centre. It has been an incredible setting for him in the earliest years of his life. My son has been attending Bright Horizons for 3 years.

February 3, 2025 at 1:59 pmShe was so cheerful here and loved going every single day. I believe that my daughter’s smooth transition to school was due to her time at Bright Horizons. The team are so welcoming and have been a constant throughout my daughters time there.
My daughter has learnt so many skills and was even writing before she left for school!
My daughter’s key contact in Unicorns was stellar and the team were a remarkable assistance to me and my family when we welcomed our second daughter in September.
Management are approachable and very responsive. I can’t wait for our second daughter to start here so we can see all the familiar faces. It’s hard to find a childcare centre that feels like a community these days, but this is one of those places. A real find. This is a remarkable childcare centre that my daughter attended for three years until starting school in September.

February 6, 2025 at 7:17 pmThe care, attention and level of service provided by the very welcoming and expert team is incredible and as parents, we sense very secure in leaving our daughters with the team. Every day, we see the smile and happiness of our daughters and their little friends when we collect them; aside from the outstanding set of skill development activities, we find (compared with previous experiences) the team really care about letting the kids create bonds and assistance development of social interaction and expression skills, which especially in the current times, is something really valuable to us. Our daughters (4 and 2) have been attending the childcare centre for the past year and an half and they are so cheerful here.

March 6, 2025 at 4:17 amThe team are really welcoming and have gone beyond to reassure safety and safeguarding in a really difficult time.
Every time when I see people talk about the nurseries around the Muswell Hill area I consistently suggest them to have their kids at this childcare centre.
However, I don’t want to complain about this and hope that a particular team member corrects her behaviour as she has been at this childcare centre many years so she should be discovering from her experiences, that greeting a kid at the door with a smiley and welcoming face will make him/her more comfortable to say bye to their parents.
Thank you Bright Horizons Muswell Hill. I had two daughters going to this childcare centre and now my little son goes there and we are very pleased with the childcare centre.

He has been exposed to lots of new experiences and has developed so much over the last few months. They have been very patient in helping him adjust to his new routine and I would not hesitate to suggest this childcare centre. The team are really what makes this childcare centre.

May 5, 2025 at 12:26 pmOur little girl enrolled at 14 months and prior to that had never been in any sort of childcare. The carers were immediately tuned into her needs and were extremely patient with her. She now loves going to childcare centre, we still have a few tears but they go as soon as we have left. The carers are so lovely with the kids, the receptionists are really welcoming and the food is incredible. I think our little girl eats better than us. She also comes home with little pictures she’s painted and the updates and pictures via tapestry are exceptional. Also, the summaries you get at the end of the day are super useful. Big thanks Magic. We adore Magic.

Our daughter has a fantastic time each day- she’s made great friends, her day is filled with educational enjoyable and she eats great food. She also has some excellent projects we engage with at home too. The team in each room are genuinely invested in every kid, giving thorough reviews every day and on Tapestry. 7 months after she left the ‘baby room’, the team there still chat to her every day and adore to hear updates. Everyone in management and admin are lovely and couldn’t be more supportive, even helping me out when my daughter posted my phone through our floorboards once! We absolutely adore Magic at Muswell Hill.

May 13, 2025 at 9:47 amWe had our son go to another one in Crouch End and this hands down is so much better. The team are cheerful and supportive and the turnover is low. It’s so excellent to see the same team on drop off and pick up and get to know them. Our two kids (in baby and toddler rooms) are so cheerful there. They were so supportive when helping to potty train our son. They are also less strict on sending them home unless really necessary. The only thing missing is some outside space, but they take the kids out almost every day and there is an indoor garden that my son enjoys very much. 100% suggest Bright Horizons, Muswell Hill. Thanks to the team! By far the best childcare centre.

May 29, 2025 at 11:33 amI cannot really state how cheerful we sense with the way our kids have developed in this multinational and multicultural setting; it truly reflects the diversity of Lthe area.
Our kids have consistently been well taken care of, and both have developed deep attachments with their key workers in all their different classrooms.
All team know my kids by name, and there is a true feeling that they are loved and emotionally supported all the time. As full-time working parents, my wife and I sense extremely blessed of having found a place where we can sense very comfortable as a family. We’ve been part of the Bright Horizons family for almost four years now with my two kids attending since they were under a year old.

June 24, 2025 at 10:29 pmLike most parents, we were no different in feeling slightly nervous about how he would adjust and settle into a new setting. He’s nearly two and he’s doing really well, so cheerful and enjoys every day and its testament to how fantastic all of the team are. They are nurturing, loving and so welcoming and the care that is afforded is second to none. They’re just like family! It’s the best thing we have done for our son and we’re so thrilled and lucky to have discovered Magic and all the lovely team that make it live up to its name. Our son joined Magic Childcare centre when he was just ten months old and we haven’t looked back.
