Bright Horizons Horsham Day Nursery and Preschool

Over the past few months, our son has come along leaps and bounds since a new member of staff joined the team and is now one of our son’s key workers. She is making a huge difference to our son’s nursery experience and is now excited to go to nursery and talks about nursery with such joy when he’s not there.

Our son started nursery in September 2022. I am a first-time mum and hadn’t realised how early I should apply for a placement. Bright Horizons, Horsham was by far the most accommodating nursery and explained the process. This in turn made me feel very comfortable and trusting in the staff. During the first few months, the nursery answered all my queries and helped him settle in with a nice steady transition to full-time placement. We are absolutely amazed at his development in both his speech and sign language/gesturing. I am genuinely so grateful for the managers and the staff having constant communication and updating the app regularly. Not only are the staff excellent at their jobs, the facilities and nutrition provided is to a very high standard. The activities provided are always adapted for each child, which is fab! There are so many wonderful things I can say but I will say I am proud he will be staying here long-term and growing within the nursery.

Such a lovely nursery. Staff are always very friendly. Only concern would be that we do not always get the food stated on the menu – or the food is quite repetitive – but know that is an issue with the cook, not those staff members providing the daily care of our children.

Lovely nursery, full of cheery and professional staff who really care for the children. My son has thrived since starting at Bright Horizons, Horsham Day Nursery and Preschool, his speech has gone from 0 to 100 (he is now a fully-fledged chatterbox!) and he’s made some firm friends. Management are on the ball and update regularly and the nursery staff provide useful information about what he has been up to each day. I’m now looking forward to the ‘getting ready for school’ programme starting in pre-school, ahead of September’s intake.

Bright Horizons, Horsham Day Nursery and Preschool have given our 16-month-old the best possible start to his nursery/preschool journey and he absolutely loves every day he spends there. As parents we feel totally at ease knowing he is safe and so well looked after, taking part in a wide range of stimulating activities boosting his development whether it’s physically, emotionally or socially. We very much feel we are working alongside the fantastic team in the baby room to further his development. The communication is second to none; the app is outstanding, updating us throughout the day on what our son has been up to, how he’s eating and napping which is very reassuring as a parent. We get regular developmental updates with photos showing us how he is reaching various milestones. In particular, we have seen a huge improvement in our son’s speech, as well as his fine and gross motor skills.
All staff in the nursery are extremely friendly and helpful.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Bright Horizons.

Guys are amazing, helped with my daughter’s speech and any problems she has! Couldn’t thank them enough. She struggles sometimes with socialising but has no problems when she goes to the nursery and I put that down to staff integrating kids in well. She always eats well and comes home happy 95 per cent of the time!

We moved our son here when he had just turned one. He was originally at a nursery in town and we moved him to Bright Horizons Horsham because it was a bigger, newer, quieter nursery and he settled so well, so quickly. He is now nearly three. There are so many reasons why I love this nursery and why my son is so happy:
The staff welcome you into the room to settle and collect your child. This was so important to me as at his original nursery we had to drop him at the door and queue outside for collection which was traumatic for us both.
The staff genuinely love the children and know them so well.
The handovers are excellent and detailed. There have even been occasions where the management have gone into detail about what he’s eaten, played with and nappy changes that they have done – I love how involved they are!
There are many more reasons some of which I couldn’t fit into the character limit but overall I would not hesitate to recommend Bright Horizons.

The nursery had a few teething problems with staffing in the first year or so but have since been pretty reliable. My son seems to really enjoy his time there and eats well. Staff are friendly and approachable and the ‘app’ is updated regularly so I know how he is getting on.

My daughter is always so happy after being at nursery. The staff are lovely and friendly and always have a smile on their face. If you ask any questions they are always happy to help.
My daughter always seems to be doing so many different activities, which is great also.
Really pleased with my daughter’s development and nursery has played a big part in that.
