Bright Horizons Fulham Day Nursery and Preschool

The nursery is extremely well run by a very competent management team. The staff are friendly, caring and experienced.
The children thoroughly enjoy their time at nursery and enjoy playing as well as learning.
The general facilities are excellent and the food is nutritious. Most importantly, the children are happy.

My son has attended from the age of 9 months with a very successful 6 week settling in period (complimentary) prior to this.

He has progressed through 2 rooms and all the staff involved in his care have been attentive, ensuring he is entertained and cared for as well as helping his development.

The opening hours (7am-7pm) really help reduce anxiety when it comes to leaving work and I am delighted half days are now offered.

An additional bonus for us is an NHS discount.

We are very happy with the nursery. The personnel is extremely friendly. It feels like a small community as we know everybody and they know us. Both my kids love to go there. They enjoy the activities, the songs, even the meals, and I feel very comfortable leaving them there as I see they really love it. Sometimes they don’t even want to leave.

I am also very pleased to see how professional they can be too, everything runs smoothly, they have excellent communication with us, they give us feedback about our kids often and that’s very valuable for us.

I would definitely enrol my babies there again, extremely recommendable.

My daughter has settled into the nursery very well. The staff has been very warm, comforting toward her. The management staff are very polite and helpful with any questions I may have.

I was anxious to leave my 6 months old at nursery so young, but after 3 months at Bright Horizons Fulham Day Nursery, I could not be happier. My little boy is loved, cuddled, fed and looked after by such a special group of staff. I love getting photos of all the fun activities he does; the art, the baking and the playing outside. Thank you to all the baby room staff! We truly appreciate your care for our little ones.

My child has been attending Bright Horizons Fulham Day Nursery 3-days a week since June 2019 and thoroughly enjoys his nursery days. As a parent, it gives you so much confidence when your child gets through the nursery doors and is so excited to be there when welcomed by the staff. He settled in immediately and has a very close bond with his key worker. Since attending Fulham Day Nursery, my son’s confidence has grown, speech and social skills. We, as parents, are very happy with our son’s development – thanks to all the Fulham Day Nursery staff.

Fantastic nursery with caring and professional staff. They took on my then 18-month old at short notice after lockdown when we were desperate for childcare. They were super helpful and flexible and happily arranged extra days over the summer when I had to work. They settled in my child really quickly, their Covid procedures are sensible but don’t make the experience too scary (eg you can wear a facemask at dropoff so they don’t have to and can welcome your child with a big smile). Because of Covid, we have only visited the nursery once so we haven’t seen the rooms and activities at first hand. But they have made a big effort to take photos and give detailed handovers so I have a good sense of what he’s been up to – lots of engaging activities like painting and he is always happy at pickup. The nursery itself is bright and plenty of space for the kids. Would definitely recommend. My only feedback is that they don’t allow you to swap days which would be helpful eg for work commitments.

I had a horrible experience here and I hope no one ever experiences it. My son started going to this nursery when he was almost 2 years old from October 2018 and had been there till November 2019. We moved to another nursery as the key person on my son’s room was suspended due to inappropriate behaviour with children. My son was shy and withdrawn and this person made him even worse. He used to cry every day when we were dropping him off at the nursery but we were thinking that it’s normal and because he wants to stay home. No. He was spending his days covered with the blanket, under the table all day, trying to “save” himself. We were lucky that another colleague reported her and she went under investigation but we decided to find another nursery as this one clearly wasn’t the right one for my son. I am sure some people might have good feedback and experience but mine wasn’t. Now my son is happier and loves to go to the new nursery.

Our daughter joined Bright Horizons Fulham full-time in July 2020, just after her first birthday. In the four months that she has been there, she has absolutely thrived and we are so pleased with her development. Her settling-in week was hard due to the Covid restrictions, but the staff went above and beyond to help her settle in, and within a week she was smiling at drop-off and pick-up. Special mention has to go to her key worker – she’s brilliant! Calm, empathetic and gentle – we can tell how much our daughter loves being looked after by her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

We are very happy with the nursery. Starting with the staff who are doing amazing work with the kids. They are always adapting to their needs. Kids love to go there, which is the best indicator there is!
