Bright Horizons Astley Day Nursery and Preschool

Before joining the childcare centre we had outstanding updates but once my kid started it was poor. I didn’t get to build a relationship with any of the team and I couldn’t even tell you a single member of team’s name. Rarely told how my kid’s day was and handed a shoddy bit of paper with some scribbles on about nappy and food info.
My kid sustained several injuries, each time told “we’re not sure what happened”.
An incident happened which was the final straw but it was the poor handling of the situation by management and the lack of understanding of what the core problem was ultimately led to me removing my kid, as I had major concerns about my kid’s safety whilst in their care. I’ve reported to Ofsted. Serious safeguarding issues.

My kid loves to attend, they are so excited every day they go! They do lots of fantastic things and the app is fabulous so that you can see what they are doing each day. I would highly suggest the childcare centre Incredible childcare centre.

At Bright Horizons Astley, I know my little girl is looked after by the team to the best of their ability. Her care needs are met, her development is thriving daily and to see her socialise with other kids makes me so cheerful. With her being born in lockdown she was glued to my side for 13 months. So leaving her still, is pretty difficult. She’s soon approaching her move into the next room and whilst I’m so anxious I know she’s in excellent hands and is going to succeed in the next part of her development. I wouldn’t have her anywhere else. She’s treated like family and cared for by everyone. She loves the team! The bond she has with these three particular team is lovely to watch and I’m looking forward to watching future relationships grow. Thank you for all your commitment and hard work! As a first-time mother, I can not describe the fear I experienced leaving my baby girl for the first time.

I couldn’t suggest enough. The team are remarkable, my boys have loved their individual key workers in each room, and built excellent relationships with each of them, to the point where they are cheerful and eager to go into childcare centre every morning. The baby room team are fab, they will listen to your wants and needs, stick to your home routine and take away the anxiety and worries you may have. Both boys have academically come on leaps and bounds even though my eldest had a lot of time at home due to covid and lockdown. My 3-year-old had delayed speech and this is now rectified with the help of the team. It’s a very spotless childcare centre, consistently serves a great variety of food. You can tell the team delight in their job, as there is consistently a cheerful, welcoming atmosphere any time of the day, whether is 7am or 6pm! You’ll be cheerful you chose this childcare centre for your kid. Both my boys, aged 3 years old and 1 year old, attend Bright Horizons Day Childcare centre, Astley.

When it came to looking for a childcare centre for our daughter, there was no doubt we would choose Bright Horizons, Astley. Our daughter started in the childcare centre room. She had numerous visits prior to starting, which helped her to settle and also helped us to know she was cheerful and secure there. The team are incredible and are so attentive. The app is excellent at keeping you informed throughout the day! The activities and resources are lovely and well planned. Our daughter loves coming. It is easy to see as she smiles and chats away about what she has done in childcare centre. A exceptional childcare centre. We chose Bright Horizons, Astley again for our daughter, as our son attended here and we were so impressed with the care, activities and discovering opportunities.

The team at the childcare centre have been very supportive whilst my baby has been settling in and I have returned to work.

Between them, they have been in every room of the childcare centre and the team in all 4 rooms are incredible.
Our eldest kid needs additional assistance with discovering and updates and the team in the preschool room have been exceptional in supporting him, in fact, the whole childcare centre is very inclusive! We have 2 kids attending this childcare centre and both of them absolutely adore it!

With my little boy starting childcare centre during a pandemic I was very apprehensive and concerned about him settling but I was told numerous times to ring up and check on him as many times as I wanted and when I did ring they gave me great feedback and assured me he was fine and would contact me if not.

If you have any problems the team will help and do whatever they can to sort the problems, they’re all so approachable, my little boy loves going to childcare centre and the books they provide with all the stuff they have eaten and done through the day is a lovely idea, rather than it being all electronic. Honestly such a lovely childcare centre cant suggest enough. Incredible childcare centre with lovely team (only know a few as my little boy only started in February) everyone I have met up to now are lovely especially the Childcare centre Manager, the Deputy Manager, and the two members of team in the baby room.

Lovely setting. My kid is very cheerful and settled here! Thank you to all Bright Horizon’s team, for just being fantastic! Fantastic team.

The team have been exceptional at making sure she settled in and is excited to go. She has been there for nine months now and is discovering new things all the time. They keep me well informed of all her activities and I really do sense like she is in secure hands. It makes going to work and leaving her that little bit easier. My daughter started here at nine months after not much socialising due to covid.
