Bolton School is one of the North's leading independent day schools offering an all through education from Nursery to Sixth Form. Its purpose-built, high-quality Nursery comes with spacious gardens and is staffed by a highly qualified team of practitioners.
It invariably receives a rating of ‘outstanding’ when it is inspected and offers a variety of excellent learning activities for children, including sessions in a nature area, physical skills with a football coach, baby yoga, Kids Rock music, dance and much more. The aim is to help children build their skills and abilities and to give them the very best start in their educational journey.
Children are very well supported in their transition to school and every child at the Nursery has the opportunity to apply for a place at Bolton School’s Infant School for 3-7 year-olds.

Like all nurseries, you have your little quibbles, but the staff at Bolton School Nursery do try and iron out these quibbles quickly. I especially like the apprentices, they are a really friendly bunch and you know they will become really good carers once they qualify.

April 11, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending this nursery for a year and I feel happy and confident about his time and care here. The staff are friendly, caring, personable but also well educated and approach their interactions with the children with a perfect mix of care and education. The facilities are lovely, they take time over the play areas and often change the activities. The small details they add in ensure learning and play happen hand in hand throughout the day. I am also happy with the food provided, they have recently updated the menu and it has added in more wholegrain foods which is great to see.
