Activeplay Nursery and Preschool

My daughter loves coming to Activeplay Nursery, the staff are brilliant and very caring towards the children. My daughter is also a very fussy eater but she always eats at nursery they do lovely homemade meals for the children. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Well, where do I start? The owner and the team at Activeplay Nursery are very professional, always thinking of the children, my daughter has come a long way from being in the baby room to now being in her final year before starting school in September. She has made some good friends and her personal development as a child is fantastic with the help from the staff from learning words and numbers. To shapes and cooking. The manager is even at the end of the phone if needing support in any way. When I ask my daughter what she has for dinner, all I get is yum yum, so the food there must be great.

The service we’ve received from Activeplay over the past three years has been, without a doubt, incredibly supportive and very much personalised to the needs of our child. The staff are attentive, kind and take the time to get to know each child and their parents as individuals so they can provide the care each child needs. My child has thrived from being in their care and is always eager to attend. I am very grateful for all the support Activeplay have given me, especially over the past year. I would recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for a nursery.

Activeplay Nursery is the most wonderful setting for any child to start their nursery journey on. Each and every one of the staff members is an absolute credit to that nursery, they are all so kind, caring, patient and professional. They are all approachable and will accommodate the needs of your child in every way they can. I’m very happy with the nutrition my son is receiving there and the varied diet he has, lots of homemade food. The activities that he does on a daily bases are simply wonderful and very imaginative, lots of crafts, singing, reading, home corner play with the kitchen etc, shapes, numbers, various seasonal activities, transient art, sensory play – the list could go on and on. We love that they have lots of outside play (daily in all weather) this was very important to us when choosing a nursery, and finally, the way our son runs through the nursery door each morning with a big smile On his face says everything we need to know about how much he loves his time there. Priceless.

My child had been to Activeplay since she was a year old, she had a heart condition which put her a little behind in life and not very trusting of people. But the staff were great with her she loved going and soon started to catch up. She often asks to go to nursery for the day during lockdown.

Activeplay is such an amazing nursery. My daughter (who is now 5) went when she was 2 until school-aged and absolutely loved it there. I now have a 6-month-old boy who now goes and has done since he was 4 months. The ladies that work there always make time to discuss what’s been going on and treat us like family, especially as my daughter went a couple of years ago. The online journal is updated daily with what he’s had to eat, how much milk he’s had etc, and then gets weekly updates with pictures of what he’s been up to.

In whole very good. Only minor issues, but have been dealt with well. Friendly staff. Lots of activities, and she loves going. They have coped well through covid and I do not feel my daughter has missed out.

Can not recommend these enough, both my children go here and all staff are so kind, caring and brilliant! Their speech has come along so much since they started. The teachers let you know what they have eaten, how they’ve been and support you through as much as they can. My children get excited to go to nursery and love their friends and teachers.

Amazing nursery, amazing staff! Wouldn’t send my children to any other nursery. They were amazing during covid times and I always felt safe! I currently have twins attending and they have helped them develop so much one of my girls barely spoke when she started now she barely stops! They were amazing when they were first settling in and now they wave goodbye and say, bye mum! It’s so nice that even they feel safe there! 5-star nursery by all means!

My kids all seemed to settle well at the nursery. The carers seem nice too and my kids bonded very well with them. I get detailed feedback about my kids’ welfare throughout their daily stay at the nursery. They are hands-on with answering any queries I may have.
