Footsteps Stratford Nursery & Pre-School

Our son has attended since he was 6 months old and the team were highly supportive to him and me during the initial settling in period. Our son has thrived in the setting. Key points for us were the high levels of training for team, highly low turnover of team, opening hours were 7 am – 7 pm pre-COVID, have understandably reduced slightly in the current times. Meal plans are on a monthly basis so great variety and prepared on-site. I find the levels of cleanliness great. So far we have only met the team from the baby room, but all have been highly welcoming and compassionate to our son. They make time to talk to us at drop-offs and pick-ups and give us a great level of detail on our son’s day. Great range of activities, outdoor space including forest school. Currently undergoing an extension for the movers group. Use of discovering book app allows us to see our son’s development and for us to share activities from home. Having looked at several childcare centre settings in the area, we are glad we choose Footsteps.

Exceptionally welcoming childcare centre team. Formed quick bonds with my 1-year-old. Detailed observations of her settle in period. Feedback is positive and she seems highly cheerful when she goes in/comes home.

After the initial settling in phase, he is usually highly cheerful to go in in the mornings which is a excellent sign he enjoys it. The team are incredibly on the ball and highly accommodating to his needs or our requests. The activities are so imaginative and enjoyable and he consistently eats his meals. I sent him here on a recommendation from a friend and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the childcare centre to friends and family. My little boy has been attending Footsteps Childcare centre & Pre-school (Stratford) for almost 6 months.

The food menu is varied and adequate for kids’s age and also well distributed/divided over the day. The personnel are highly nice and attentive with the kids. My son is highly cheerful in there. I highly suggest the childcare centre to everyone. Thank you everyone for the great care and hard work you do every day to make our kids cheerful! The childcare centre provides lots of interactive activities for kids and great care.

The managers and team are so welcoming and most importantly they make your kid sense cheerful and excited about attending childcare centre each day. They offer earlier opening times than other nurseries in Stratford upon Avon, which is ideal for parents that travel for work. Having one kid attend from the baby room through to preschool and my second currently there now, I have been apart of the Footsteps family for many years. I will be highly sad when my second kid leaves for school but shall be thankful for all the assistance they have given my kids and myself in developing and getting them school ready. Footsteps is a remarkable childcare centre and I would highly suggest it to other parents.

She is highly cheerful and thoroughly enjoys all the activities such a messy playtime. The childcare centre has a fantastic outdoor area complete with a sandpit and “Harry” the rabbit. The team are all highly attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. They provide a highly high level of care and engage all of the babies in group activities. The childcare centre provides delicious and nutritious meals which are freshly prepared on site. Our daughter enjoys her food and eats highly well at childcare centre. Overall our journey of the childcare centre has been outstanding. Our daughter has settled into childcare centre highly easily.

The team are consistently on hand to meet and greet the parents in the mornings and are highly qualified with outstanding knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. The Key Worker system is consistent and my kid’s key worker is consistently there to talk to should I have any concerns or queries. There is a remarkable handover at drop off and pick up and I am aware of all activities that have taken place. There is a wide variety of experiences for the kids including a sensory room and outdoor space. Team adhere to parents’ requests with regards to keeping a consistent approach to their care at home and try to match this within the childcare centre where possible. Hours are highly suitable to our needs as a family as they are open 7-7. I highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a full-time day childcare centre. As a parent who has a lot of journey in the sector, I have found the care and provision outstanding.

We had met the team beforehand, spent time planning for his induction, treading highly carefully the night before, worrying how he would settle. When he started he took to it highly well, the team were exceptional with him, made him settle down, he had the most enjoyable time and every day since he happily wants to go, better than being home with mummy and daddy in lockdown no3.

We would highly suggest it. Best thing we did for his development. Our son started Footsteps preschool in September 2020, having spent 9 months at home with the lockdown, we were highly worried as to how he would react, especially when this was his first real time of being in a childcare centre setting.

Especially going to forest school and taking part in science activities. All members of team are welcoming and know him. He has grown loads and made friends. The childcare centre is highly great and consistently there to speak with. As my eldest kid enjoys it that much, our youngest has just started and is also enjoying their time in the baby room. Through COVID times, they have kept in touch and provided activities to help delight in with the kids at home. It is a secure and welcoming setting. Would suggest to all. My first kid is now in the upper school; since he started, he has enjoyed attending.

I am so pleased we picked Footsteps. He is so cheerful here and settled in highly quickly, there is nothing more reassuring when I hand him over in a morning and he waves me off. When he first started I could phone up as often as I wanted to check if he was alright. The team are highly approachable and nothing is to much trouble, they are clearly invested in the kids and from day one I felt comfortable leaving my kid in their care. There is not a high turnover of team, they have a great variety of freshly cooked food, they are highly accommodating to our needs and he is consistently sent home in spotless clothes. They provide a daily report card with the activities done, times of nappy changes and whether it’s wet or soiled, what food he’s had and how much, times and lengths of naps. He does a great variety of activities and they get time outside every day. My little boy started in the baby room with Footsteps in January 2019 when he was 10 months old.
