Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery and Preschool

She is currently in the pre-school room, which I’ve noticed has truly stepped up the discovering and development and this has been reflected in my daughter’s vocabulary and behaviour.
In general, she enjoys attending the childcare centre, has a great relationship with her key worker and has made a lot of friends there. Barford has provided a secure childcare setting for my daughter from age 1-3.

Both he and I have been made to sense welcomed and valued from day one. All the team, especially his key worker, have worked exceptionally hard to build up my son’s self‑assurance and he is absolutely flourishing. It’s fantastic to see how much he has developed and how cheerful he is. I adore hearing all of his stories of what he has been up to throughout the day, even more so knowing that they truly understand him and his interests and plan around them. We are forever grateful. My son has been attending Barford Day Childcare centre for a year now.

I have two kids at Barford, Bright Horizons, one in preschool and another in babies. Most importantly, they both adore it. Every day the kids get to participate in a excellent variety of activities, both creative, self-led and structured teacher-led, things I couldn’t imagine doing at home. I truly think in comparison to other nurseries, my kids are getting a real head start by attending. The team are all highly expert ( and enjoyable ) and I have full self‑assurance my kids are in great hands when I drop them off. My son has allergies and their systems and menu cater for his needs perfectly. My (fussy eater) daughter gets on well too and consistently comes home with a full tummy. 10/10! What a team!

He is flourishing with his playtime, speech and language.
All the team are incredible and consistently there for advice or to listen to questions or concerns. We adore Bright Horizons Barford Day Childcare centre and Preschool, our son loves going to childcare centre and all his educators and friends there.

All team are remarkable and welcoming, with a exceptional level of care for all the kids. I am consistently impressed by how cheerful and content the kids look whenever I am there.

The childcare centre is consistently spotless and kept to a excellent standard.
I have also found the level of care for the kids to be of the highest standard, especially as my daughter does need extra help with some things. My daughter goes to this childcare centre and honestly cannot suggest them more.

I was so anxious about trusting anyone with our son but the management and exceptional baby room team reassured me and kept me so well informed, it made the whole settling-in journey that much easier. They’re well‑informed, compassionate, thoughtful and understanding. Everyone is so positive and welcoming, you can’t help but adore it. The team’s dedication and enthusiasm shine through by how cheerful the kids are and we adore hearing about what he’s been up to when I pick him up. Size and security were key when we were looking at nurseries and we were so impressed with their standards. The facilities are spotless, the building has character and it’s just been refurbished; it is lovely. They don’t seem to rest on their laurels either and are consistently looking at how they can improve. I can only advise that if you are considering Barford, sign up as soon as you can, as places are snapped up quickly with great reason. It’s just simply a remarkable childcare centre run by an experienced and dedicated team.

It’s been particularly valuable that he has been cared for by the same member of team, who has been able to build up a relationship with him and get to know him. This means we have also been able to build a relationship with his key worker, as we’ve consistently been given time for a thorough debrief at pick up time. It’s been fantastic to see how he engages in the other kids at the childcare centre and has tried out new activities. We couldn’t suggest Barford Beehive enough! We’ve been highly pleased with how the team at Barford Beehive have worked to settle our son into childcare centre.

The team are consistently welcoming, patient, highly skilled and have a genuine enthusiasm for kid care and education. There is also a real sense of teamwork and enjoyable. Both our kids have thrived since their arrival at Barford and it is consistently reassuring that they are delighted to get there in the morning. After moving from the city and a childcare centre that had some issues with staffing, Barford Childcare centre is like a breath of fresh air.

The team here have consistently been exceptionally attentive to my kids’s needs, it is a inviting and welcoming childcare centre where both of my kids sense cheerful and confident. They especially delight in the outdoor playtime available and dancing and singing too. We also receive a daily report at the end of each day, which details what our kids have been doing during the day, what they have eaten and nappy changes. All in all, a fab childcare centre, and we wouldn’t choose anywhere else to send our kids. This childcare centre provides kids with a magical discovering journey, it provides a range of activities that promote discovering, safety and well-being.

The addition since my son was there, is of the childcare centre app, which is outstanding and gives me so much information about the day. My daughter has settled in so well after initially being quite shy, she has made friends and loves all the incredible activities she gets to do.
