Footsteps Cannock Nursery & Pre-School

Both my son and daughter have attended Footsteps Nursery and Pre School Cannock and we have been part of the Footsteps family since 2017. I can’t fault the team there for the care they provide, the facilities they have and the professionalism of the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful and they go above and beyond for the children and families. Both my children have loved their time at the nursery. My son is now at school in year 1, but even when he comes on pick ups to get my daughter, everyone is pleased to see him. The manager has an excellent rapport with everyone and is always so helpful. There have been staff changes over the years and we have seen staff come and go but it has never affected the care they give the children. Supporting their open day last week, it was nice to re-visit the younger age rooms and see those staff too and all remember and talk about my children. I will be sad to end our time with Footsteps as they have been so good. I really can’t rate them highly enough.

Wow! What an amazing nursery! The management team is unreal will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and the employees are just brilliant and hard working! I was so worried about leaving my son when coming off maternity leave and they have made it so easy, they look after my son as if he is their own child. I get updates throughout the day of everything my son has been doing by written information followed by beautiful photos of my son playing. Food is amazing all freshly homemade and different each day.
The nursery manager is brilliant and helped me so much with leaving my son at the nursery, I was told to ring up and check on him as many times as I wanted. The whole team are amazing and gives my son a lot of attention and always welcomes him in. A Brilliant nursery would never go anywhere else. I trust the Footsteps Cannock Nursery team with all my heart. My son has only done a few sessions and he already picked up crawling and saying, mama!

Could not be happier with the provision provided at Footsteps nursery! The quality of education is fantastic and every day provides opportunities for fun, engagement and a love of learning! Thank you!

My little girl loves her two days a week at nursery. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The app is brilliant! The outside space is very big and a lovely clean nursery. The food always smells delicious when I walk in. She loves when Pyjama drama comes in! That’s her favourite! Such a good idea to get them in from the nursery.

My daughter started nursery in August 2022 at two & a half, she absolutely loves it! The staff are lovely and the feedback I get daily is brilliant!
They have plenty of food and a lot of outdoor play which my daughter loves!

I can not say enough good things about this nursery and its staff. My grandson started in the baby room and has moved up rooms with ease. The staff, the facility, and the support and encouragement they provide are fantastic. I hear people say they can’t believe how much nursery costs, honestly, we are trusting these lovely people with our treasured, most precious children and they are worth every penny. I love the updates throughout the day on the app, being able to see my grandson enjoying himself is priceless. Keep up the good work and I will recommend you to anyone that asks!

Communication is shocking, couldn’t even tell me the time of the home visit until I called the night before to get an answer since emails weren’t responded to.
My daughter was there for one week and come back with filthy clothes even though I’ve provided her with spare items of clothing which they couldn’t be bothered to use and change her. She’s come out with leaking nappies. Updates on the app were poor and after you complain they edit it to cover their own backs and remove pictures to yet again cover their own backs. I asked for a refund as I’ve paid over the required amount and I keep getting brushed off yet again.
My daughter’s last day she come home with a cut on her chin yet there was no incident report? So I decided to withdraw my daughter from attending if they can’t even be bothered to notice these things or inform me as a parent.
They try to silence you and shut down all concerns you have as a parent. I’ve worked in nurseries myself and would never treat a parent this way.

My daughter has attended this nursery since last March, and it was the best decision we made. My daughter is now in rising 3s and has never been happier, and loves going to nursery twice a week. The manager and staff have been excellent with my daughter, they are always polite and helpful and keep us updated throughout the day, my daughter always leaves happy and smiling and the staff inform me of everything that she has done at nursery that day. The facilities are always clean and tidy.

My son has been attending the nursery since June 2022 when he was only 9 months old. As a very anxious first time mother, the staff in the baby room were so patient and kind to me. They understood it’s hard to leave your child in the care of others. They never complained when I would ring up to check on him. My son has adored the staff since he began. They have done so many activities with him which I would never think of. The menu options are incredible and they helped on our journey with baby led weaning. My son has since moved classes due to his age. He has come on in leaps and bounds since starting this nursery. All the staff are very professional, friendly, caring and clearly love what they do. They have always worked through any health/development concerns I have had. My son loves his days at nursery and adores the staff. It has been a weight off my shoulders knowing how cared for he is there whilst I work and have no desire to move nurseries until he begins reception at school.

My daughter has been attending Footsteps Cannock Nursery & Pre-School for a while now and she absolutely loves it! She has come on so much and has an amazing relationship with the staff in her room, they all know how to support my child and what makes her feel safe and happy when I drop her off. They truly are amazing.
