The children are involved in lots of lovely activities to enhance their learning and development.

November 3, 2022 at 12:00 amWe currently have our second child going through the nursery and can honestly say that our experience has been nothing but positive.
Staffing is always consistent meaning you have that good relationship and informative handover at the start/end of the day. The range of activities they complete is fantastic and there’s always indoor/outdoor activity, no matter the weather.
Staff are always there for you and are very helpful, no matter the query.

November 3, 2022 at 12:00 amFrom the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew Children 1st @ Buckinghams Day Nursery was the nursery for us and especially our boy. The staff are so friendly and always welcome you through the doors with a warm smile. They take the time to listen to any questions you may have and it’s so clear that they all effectively follow and implement their procedures in place for the safety of all. When handing over at the room door, my son is always greeted by his care worker with enthusiasm and her caring nature always shines. As parents, we are kept updated and receive daily diaries keeping us in the know of the day our son has had. I have always been so impressed by how quickly the staff, especially my son’s key worker and team, have got to know his individual personality, likes and dislikes, supporting and encouraging him accordingly. The activities he takes part in are so varied and it is clear that time has been taken to support a range of his developmental needs, for which I’m so grateful.

My son has attended since March this year, he took no time at all to settle and build an amazing bond to his key worker and all the staff in the room and around the nursery. He has recently moved into the next room and again has settled really quickly and built great relationships with the staff and is loving all the different activities they do in there. He always enjoys his dinner and there is lots of variety each week. I love how they go outside each day – they have a great outdoor safe space. Overall, all staff are kind, caring and well-trained and my little boy loves coming in each morning!

January 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son is very happy going to nursery. He loves it, it’s a lovely nursery, the staff are really nice and friendly, comprehensive and, definitely, my daughter is going to go there as well. I’m really happy and very much recommend this nursery.

January 19, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending for nearly two years now, I knew from the get-go I wanted him to go to this nursery, always heard positive reviews and felt the nursery was just a lot more professional, organised and aesthetically pleasing than others.
All the staff are amazing, they’re consistent, always working with the parents to help in any areas and it’s always clean and welcoming. They have a great communication system, lovely setting and my son has come on leaps and bounds here! Will be very sad when it’s time for him to move into school!

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, I feel so comfortable leaving my son here knowing he is safe and in such good hands.

January 19, 2023 at 12:00 amWhat an incredible team of caregivers, if I’m honest, I’ve never wanted to send my little guy to nursery and I went with the hope I’d still not want to but when there, my whole opinion changed. You can tell just how much they care about their children there and the parents! They’re super supportive and caring and my little guy absolutely loves being there, which I can see from the pictures they kindly take and upload to their app which is amazing!
Cannot wait to see just how much my little guy develops with them there!

My daughter absolutely loves nursery and enjoys all the various activities throughout the day. Every day is varied with lots of time spent outdoors. Lots of focus on development. Nothing is too much trouble, I can not fault the team at Buckinghams

It is due to the manager and the team that he has settled into the nursery so well and that he is now also receiving tailored support for additional needs. I cannot thank everyone enough for their constant support to my little boy and to us as a family. I couldn’t wish for a nicer setting nor staff and I am incredibly grateful to the manager and her team. Their care, compassion and attention to detail when it comes to every aspect of my little boys learning, his development and his needs as a whole is fabulous.

My daughter’s development has come on amazingly since she started and her confidence boosted. The meals they provide are fantastic! It’s a lovely setting, very organised and clean. I am so happy I came across this nursery and I would recommend it to everyone.

June 22, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son really enjoys coming to nursery every day. He talks about what he does and enjoys when he comes home. Staff are friendly and are very caring. They all do an amazing job.
There are lots of activities for them to try and clear learning outcomes sent out each term.

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amOur little boy has been going to Children 1st @ Buckinghams for a year now. He started in the baby room and moved into Bob Tails. The staff have all been wonderful and are so enthusiastic about all of the children and they make nursery a really lovely learning environment. Our little boy is almost 2 now and loves going to nursery, he knows the names of his nursery nurses and support staff and he is excited to see them. They have also catered for his dietary needs as he has been dairy and soya free since starting nursery.
We have had to ask for extra hours recently and management have supported this and all of the staff have been lovely in response to our changing personal circumstances.
We now have another little boy who will start nursery next year and we will be very glad for him to attend Buckinghams as well. They have a lovely outdoor space and lots to do inside too.
Thank you Buckinghams for making our journey through nursery worry-free and enjoyable.

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amI’ve been so pleased with the nursery to date. I was feeling anxious about sending my little one to nursery when I started back at work, although the staff have been great in helping me reassure and my daughter seems to have settled in quickly and happily.

August 1, 2023 at 12:00 amWe had a great experience at Children 1st. The staff are kind, attentive, caring and skilled. Generally, they are really easy to deal with, and we haven’t had any problems. They helped our daughter progress through the rooms and let us know when she was ready to move onto a new room. They were also brilliant with potty training, and the outdoor space is lovely. The pick-up and drop-off times were also convenient for us and fit well with our working day (we did 8-5).
All in all, they are an all-star team, and our daughter loved going there. One of the best things is that they are super nice and friendly when you pick up and drop them off – as a tired parent, it really makes a difference in the day!

August 8, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff are very caring, kind and knowledgable. The only down point is they stopped using the app and went back to book and website logs. For parents the app was good for updates. All the staff encourage and help the children to learn while having fun.
