February 26, 2023 at 12:00 amI would highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering to bring their child(ren) here. Myself and my partner are very pleased with how well both our children have settled in. Both our children are so happy here. The staff are friendly and the communication between us parents and the staff/management has been excellent.

February 28, 2023 at 12:00 amMy granddaughter has been attending this nursery for nearly a year now and I can not rate this nursery higher, the staff and management are amazing working tirelessly with the children all parents are informed and the staff works with the families, a real home from home, well done and a massive thank you

February 28, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has recently started in the baby room at Raise to Shine Childcare and has settled in really well. Staff are all lovely and hard working, the manager has lots of time for parents and goes above and beyond to make parents feel settled too. The nursery feels very family orientated. Food is very nutritious and cooked fresh by a Chef on site.

March 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son loves going to nursery, there. I like that his key person meets him at the door and helps him settle in, gently taking him deeper into the classroom. I love that the kids bring a new book home each week to read together. And their meals always sound delicious.

They have also been very accommodating and flexible depending on the child’s needs. We also really appreciate the interest they take in parents and the child’s family and are happy to offer support if needed.

March 3, 2023 at 12:00 amMy child is currently settling into the nursery having moved from another setting. For a toddler (and me) such a change is very unsettling but I can honestly say the staff here have been absolutely brilliant! The staff are so focused on the happiness and welfare of the children and they are lovely to talk to – nothing is too much and they really put me at ease. The nursery is very clean, well lit and has lots of different toys to keep the children occupied together with the engaging planned activities. The onsite chef is amazing, making fresh and nutritious food for the kids (yes I have tried it!). The owner/proprietor is exceptional – her vision to create a homely, friendly and child focused environment really feeds down to the staff and really benefit the children – the intention of keeping room intake small is a reflection of this. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to any parent.

March 19, 2023 at 12:00 amDue to the sudden closure of my grandson’s nursery, I had the difficult task of finding a new one for him. After viewing many I decided on Raise to Shine Childcare. Seeing my grandson’s face fill up with happiness when being dropped off and also how happy he is when collected, reassured me that I had made the right decision. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I feel the staff go above and beyond for my grandson to ensure he’s happy and well looked after.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amWe could not be happier with our daughter at the nursery. She left her old nursery in difficult circumstances with it closing suddenly. Raise to Shine were so good in giving her time to settle, went the extra mile all the time in allowing us and her time.
Now she absolutely loves going, she bounces up to the door and is always so happy when we pick her up as she has had such a good day.
The owner and staff are amazing! They really care for the children, it comes across so much! We couldn’t be happier.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter started nursery at 10 months, as she was definitely ready for more interaction and engaging activities. At first, I was hesitant, as she was so young and I believe the youngest baby there. However, all staff and managers were absolutely outstanding in their approach, service and professionalism. They gave me confidence with all updates sent promptly, regarding sleep, activities and food, which gave full reassurance she was enjoying nursery and had settled in really well. She fully enjoys all activities and it’s great to see her development and confidence building day by day. The food made by the chef is fantastic and our daughter clearly enjoys the food there. The menu is excellent with a range of dishes provided. All staff are amazing and so welcoming, which provides a really homely feel. Managers and higher management are fully engaged with all children, they greet all parents and children by their first names and portray great enthusiasm and passion.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amFantastic nursery. Very homely with lots of individual focus. Our child loves the activities like cooking and being creative and is always hands-on which I think is brilliant at such a young age.
The nursery is led very well by the owner and management and this has been reflected in the recent Outstanding rating given by Ofsted recently.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amBrilliant nursery. Have always gone above and beyond for my daughter. Extremely accommodating to extra learning needs and schedules. Great communication between staff and parents. The app which allows me to see my daughter’s progress is updated regularly with information about the day and photos to see special activities. Always incorporating holidays relating to all religions and cultures. And always celebrate outside of nursery achievements. Definitely recommend.

April 28, 2023 at 12:00 amFrom the moment of enquiry, right through to having a look around and bringing my children to this nursery – I haven’t looked back. Everyone who works here is passionate and genuinely cares about the children. They are professional but part of our family.
The children are very happy and comfortable here, they have smiles on their faces at drop-off and pick-up. They have a variety of activities, delicious homemade food and so much attention throughout their day.
I am so happy that I found this nursery.

April 28, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth my children go to this nursery, one is in babies and one in preschool. I have to say when you first walk into the nursery you instantly notice how clean and tidy it is. The staff are very warm and welcoming so it puts both parents and children’s mind at ease. So happy my children are attending Raise to Shine Childcare as they are given a great platform to grow and shine with positive encouragement. The communication between parent and all the staff is excellent. All staff, manager and owners work very hard to ensure that the setting is a great place for the children to attend which is evident in the recent outstanding rating. Our children absolutely love cooking school too! We would definitely recommend this setting as it has been a great 2 years for us.

May 5, 2023 at 12:00 amThe team at Raise to Shine have shown such care and understanding with regard to our little girl, going out of their way to make sure she gets the right support and encouragement with regard to her development. In late January 2020 my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour (medulloblastoma), she was only 15 months old. After surgery to remove the tumour, she endured 11 months of intensive chemotherapy, spending much of that time restricted to a hospital cot. Despite recommendations put forward by her Consultant at the hospital. Obviously, this illness has had a huge impact on her development. Raise to Shine welcomed my daughter in June 2022. Since then we have seen great improvements with her. Rise to Shine has encouraged her and helped her gain confidence with her. We are truly grateful to the team for all the care and dedication that they provide for my daughter. She is very happy there. We can’t thank them enough for all that they have done.
