May 18, 2021 at 12:00 amMy one-year-old son loves going there. Never cries on way in or when leaving. Care is top-notch, and staff are very attentive. Excellent value for money. Food options are very good. The only complaint would be the varied use of the app. Usually well updated, but can sometimes be a little behind, but a very minor issue given the high quality of care offered at such a good weekly cost.

My son started in December 2020, and with being a lockdown baby, I really struggled to not be with him all day every day. He also found it difficult at the beginning due to not having much interaction with other people other than myself and his dad, but the staff were amazing, always reassuring me, always happy to update throughout the day and put pictures and reports up on the app to show how he was doing. Staff reassured that he would settle, and after a little while, he settled amazingly. He walks in without looking back, enjoys the day and has fun and enjoys new experiences whilst there. The activities staff do with the children are so lovely and varied, and the outdoor play area is amazing! The food and snacks they are given throughout the day are really varied and homely.
Would 100% recommend it!

Our daughter started nursery here in February, and we are delighted with her development so far. She has settled in well, made friends and has good relationships with the staff.
We find that the team are extremely professional while also being very kind and caring. They provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment in which our daughter is very happy, and they have responded excellently to the current ‘COVID’ situation.
They place the well-being of the children at the centre of everything that they do. We feel our daughter is sufficiently challenged whilst learning key life skills to ensure she is well equipped for school.
The online learning app enables us to securely view our daughter’s progress and successfully communicate with the staff to build on her learning.
The team pride itself on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery, which we highly recommend to any parent considering childcare.

February 22, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son started with Springs in January and being only 6-months-old, we were very wary of how he would manage. However, our concerns were very quickly quashed. The nursery and staff are excellent and so accommodating. Our little boy has really come on since joining, and we are very grateful and happy with the service and team so far and look forward to seeing our little man continue to grow.

April 5, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter moved to Spring Nursery RAF Cosford in January after not having a great experience in another nursery, however, we are so pleased with the level of care our daughter is experiencing. She is happy and enjoying her time at nursery. She has plenty of learning opportunities through play. The environment is safe, and the staff are really friendly and caring. She loves it!

April 6, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been at Cosford since she was a baby and has been through all of the different stages they provide. She is now getting ready to start school in September and will be leaving in August. I can say with total confidence that she has been nurtured by everyone there and is more than ready to start school. All staff have been exemplary throughout the years and have encouraged and nurtured her to be ready for the next stage of her life. It is the best nursery I have ever used with any of my three children, and will always recommend them to everyone as I don’t think it can be beaten.
Thank you to everyone there; you are all doing an amazing job.

September 30, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little girl has been attending for 8 months now, and she’s loved every moment of it.
Her speech has developed tenfold, and all of the staff are amazing.
My little girl has numerous allergies, so we were really apprehensive regarding her attending nursery, but everyone has been amazing and really accommodating. I know that she is in safe hands whilst she is there, and nothing is too much trouble.
10/10 nursery!

September 30, 2022 at 12:00 amI think my son thrives on the different activities; however, I dont always get photos of him. I do think it would be nice to have a photo of each child daily, even if they aren’t joining in with the group activities, as some children, like my son, don’t always interact socially. This would ensure me that I know he’s having a good time.
He loves his keyworker, and they work very hard with him to make sure his individual needs are met.
I have messaged the manager on a few occasions and never had a response, which is very disappointing; however, I go through the deputy manager now as they always respond and are very helpful!

September 30, 2022 at 12:00 amAll the staff I have spoken with and who looks after our daughter are extremely personable, kind, caring and knowledgable, and our little girl loves attending. Each day she comes home thoroughly tired out after a full day of fun play and activities but also with a lot to say (babble) about what she has been getting up to. The nursery is very clean, the food she gets is great, the facilities for the kids are really good, indoors and out, and the care and attention our little girl receives is excellent. All in all, a really good nursery with brilliant staff.

September 30, 2022 at 12:00 amReally lovely nursery. All the staff are very friendly and approachable. They ensured my little one settled in well, and he quickly bonded with the staff team. He loves all the wooden toys and variety of activities they offer, and they will always work with us to problem solve any issues with the little one settling in. I always get updates on what my baby is doing and what he’s eaten, and I really enjoy the photo updates of him doing activities. Staff always hand over at the end of the day to let us know how things went and will ring if they have any issues or concerns. It was really easy getting his place set up there, and I feel he is well looked after.

February 3, 2023 at 12:00 amChild attended for 18 months before we left.
Only just settled by the time we left, just didn’t appear to like it at all.
The care from the staff I couldn’t fault and the security, the staff were lovely but communication became poor. All experienced staff were all leaving/manager, activities weren’t the best and were being asked to keep child at home as not enough staff to cover. Daily updates on the system were often poor or non-existent.
I hope for them it’s just a bad time which will change but my child is so happy since we left. I regret not doing it sooner. I realise how much development wasn’t there. I know so many who have left or wish they could but can’t find anywhere else.

April 27, 2023 at 12:00 amThis nursery has been invaluable in the cognitive and social development of my child, particularly keeping open during the pandemic, so they haven’t been hampered at all, which is such a relief in it itself.
There are weekly moments when my child impresses me with their numeracy and literacy skills, recognising a letter on my number plate or a letter when reading bedtime stories.
Every key person they have had has always been a joy to converse with, producing a great key-person parent relationship when receiving a feedback report on their daily activities.
They have implemented parent/key-person nights in the last 12 months, so you can have a one-on-one meeting, just like an after-school report. These were excellent, as we could discuss strengths and areas to work on together.
Last year, the nursery organised a sports day which was really inclusive and an absolute joy to witness.
Overall, I’m really pleased and proud of my child’s progress.

May 12, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending Spring since October 2021, we chose this nursery due to the great outdoor space, and it had one of the best forest schools we had seen, we were impressed by the size of the setting, and the staff seemed good. The reason this review is a four and not a five is due to our personal experience. Unfortunately, in late 2022, experienced staff were leaving, plus the manager and communication became near on non-existent, and the app updates weren’t happening. However, we have seen a marked improvement since the new manager has joined, which has increased the review to four. The setting seems tidier and more organised, and the communication is starting to improve; we feel we are being heard, and the new manager has taken the time to understand our concerns in relation to the historical issues and is clearly focussed on making the nursery the best it can be and is fully invested. Our son goes to school in September, he’s enjoyed his time in Spring, and we look forward to the next four months.

May 17, 2023 at 12:00 amUnfortunately, we didn’t have a positive experience at this nursery. It wasn’t until my child went to a different nursery that we now realise the lack of development and learning here, and very notably a positive change in our child’s behaviour after leaving. We saw a very high turnover in staff and our child never had a consistent key worker. Our child was constantly sick at this nursery too, and I now question whether cleaning practices were as efficient as they could have been, as by comparison we have not had these issues since going elsewhere. The daily updates via the Famly app started to get progressively less and less, which was blamed mainly on lack of resources with only one device per room for staff to share to take photographs and log updates. Sadly, what may have once been a nice little nursery, has fallen into what feels like a state of disarray and any concerns we raised were never actioned.

May 18, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has attended Spring Cosford for 18 months, and in that time, we have had a mixture of ups and downs with the care provision. I am pleased to say that our experience at the moment is fantastic.
In particular, since the new manager joined, I can honestly say things have dramatically improved in a very short space of time, and he has exceeded my expectations. He communicates so well, he always responds in a timely manner, he’s friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and really cares about the nursery and his team.
My daughter has learnt so much in the short time she has been going to Cosford. I have confidence in the staff, and they are all so friendly and know my daughter and her needs exceptionally well. In particular, one lady is just amazing as her key carer. My daughter absolutely loves her and talks about her all the time at home.
Keep up the good work; you are working miracles and have an amazing team that I know you are very proud of.
