Banana Moon Day Nursery West Bromwich

My daughter attends Banana Moon Day Nursery. When she first started, due to being a lockdown baby, she was very nervous. The ladies who work there have been absolutely incredible; she now walks in (started when she was a baby). Confidently and constantly learns new things. It’s clear to see the passion the staff, including management, have for their job; they always keep you informed and up to date! The nursery is organised and always has fun interactive actives on for the kids; they also include families very often, which I think is lovely. The app they use to update you about your child’s day is incredible, as you can see pictures of what they have been doing and all updates; this is updated every day and feedback is very thorough! They do a fabulous job – highly recommend.

Excellent. Love the app and being able to see what my son is up to. The staff are always pleasant and always informative. My son is 15 months and loves going there every week, which makes me feel so much better.

I felt this was very interesting as it was my first time in the nursery since my son started at 6 months old due to covid! It was really good to find out what they get up to and my son has seriously learnt so much and enjoys coming every week. All the staff are lovely and I couldn’t ask for more.

I noticed that the management and carers put individualised learning plans for my child. They noticed the learning and development needed (verbal and speech) and worked on it accordingly. I noticed a significant change in my child’s development within weeks. I found that the management and staff are honest and caring. The safety practices are good, however, improvement is needed in the personal hygiene care of children. More involvement of parents is needed. The app/web diary is amazing, kept me updated and involved. If possible increase options for breakfast.

I have three children at the nursery aged between two and four. They all love being at the nursery and have formed good relationships with all the staff. They may go in crying but always come out buzzing! They are inclusive and promote diversity. The staff are always happy, friendly and approachable! The premises are clean and well-maintained. More than anything the staff really get to know to children and encourage autonomy of the child, where the allow the child to follow their interests. I would definitely recommend them to any parent. They are also really good at keeping parents informed of daily activities and any upcoming events. The quality of care in my view is brilliant and I’d definitely recommend them to other parents!

The entire team are extremely helpful, pleasant, happy and accommodating! My child has thrived amongst you all. We as parents have extreme gratitude to you all.

The staff at this nursery are attentive, kind and very motivated by the excellent management. You can see that staff have a fantastic bond with the children they care for.
Two members of staff, in particular, are incredible and listen and respond well to questions you may have. Their childcare understanding and experience are solid. The children are happy here – my son is a very picky eater, even at home and they have helped encourage him to eat foods he would not normally try and have been successful in doing so. I almost fell over when his diary said he ate an apple. They also inform me of what he has tried so I can encourage him more at home.
With it being my son’s first time away from me for long periods we both had some anxiety but mine has completely gone as I trust in the staff, my son’s reaction at the drop-off has improved due to the kindness and care he is shown on arrival by all members of staff.
Overall a 10 out of 10 for childcare knowledge, child engagement, safety, encouragement and staff attitude.

My twin toddlers have been here since January. Oustanding nursery, providing brilliant care on virtually a one-to-one basis. My children love going to nursery every day. The teachers are fabulous, very friendly and you can tell they really care for the children. The facilities outside are the best part of the nursery for the twins. They enjoy the activities that the teachers have ready for them every day. As a mum I love how clean the nursery is and the staff are very comfortable with parents my kids will miss the nursery when they finish at the end of this term.

My son’s progress has been very good, he has grown and learnt so much in the seven months he has been here. We thank Banana Moon Day Nursery West Bromwich and would definitely recommend to anyone.
