Howley Grange Kindergarten

My daughter has attended Howley Grange since moving settings at just under 2 years old and I would never look back! The staff have been nothing but friendly, caring and welcoming and have been a huge part of my daughter’s development providing her with a brilliant environment, fantastic resources and lovely staff! Since beginning her journey my daughter has come on leaps and bounds in all areas of her development and is a very happy bubbly little girl that the staff have helped nurture!
Both the indoor and outdoor environments are stimulating, challenging and engaging for all children and staff provide endless opportunities for the children to learn and develop their skills further.
My daughter is currently in her last week at the setting before starting reception class, she is so ready and excited for this next step which wouldn’t have been possible without the kindergartens help and support over the years.
So glad we found this nursery. Would 100% recommended!

What can I say, this is a fabulous nursery which my daughter has loved attending since she was 9 months old. She started as a baby who not only never been left but was put into the care of “strangers” to her. The staff were so calm, patient, consistent, and knew exactly what to do to help her settle in and reassure her that everything was ok. Fast forward 3 years she can’t wait to leave the house to see her friends and all of the staff. She has formed a special bond with all of the staff who she absolutely adores. She has learnt so much through various activities, lessons, and play. We will both miss going to nursery but we know that they have got her ready for the next stage in her life, big school.

My child has been attending this nursery/pre-school since September 2021. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time here and the girls have helped build his confidence and helped him develop all his skills. The girls have all been amazing and lovely to speak to over this Year. We will be sad to be saying goodbye as he leaves for school. He has made some lovely friends too. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little boy started at Howley Grange Kindergarten when he was very young and from the very beginning the staff made him feel very welcome even when he struggled to settle in after being a lockdown baby. They were very patient and caring towards him. I’ve seen him come on so much since attending nursery back in March 2021 and we really do appreciate all the staff who have helped him throughout and for giving him the best care possible and for helping him to become the clever little one he is. I would recommend this nursery to anybody as I’ve found it to be such a lovely place with such great staff. Thank you all again.

My child has attended Howley Grange Kindergarten for 2 years and has been so happy to go into nursery every day. Not only are the staff professional, nurturing and caring, but they have helped prepare my child for school, learning letters, numbers, all about the world, lots of crafts and creative learning, and daily outdoor learning. The nursery have helped my child become a confident, independent learner and nothing was too much trouble for the amazing team of staff. We will be sad to say goodbye to the nursery but are so grateful for the fantastic experience we have had with them. I will certainly be recommending this nursery to family and friends.

The fact that my child happily trots up the ramp to get in speaks volumes about how he feels about it! Always have a friendly staff member to meet him. Enjoys the activities and with the app I can keep up to date during the day with what he’s up to!

Howley Grange Kindergarten have been amazing so far. My son has been at this nursery from August 2022-present (March 2023). He’s made so much progress and I really like the fact they have an app so you can see what he’s done in the day and can message staff. I definitely recommend.

My daughter really enjoys going to nursery here she has made lovely friends, and really likes her teachers. She’s been happy here and gets really excited when I say it’s time for nursery which is a really good sign.

When I looked around this nursery I absolutely knew my son would get the care and love he needed to thrive. The nursery is so small and it allows your child to build really lovely relationships with the staff which is what I prioritised at the time.
My son went to this nursery from 1 year old to 3.5 when I decided to move him to a setting that focused more on outdoor learning which he loves and they have ample space for.
I have sometimes been concerned about communication at Howley Grange Kindergarten but a question to the staff on the door is always answered in a friendly and open way and I think there is genuine effort through the app to improve here. I’d also love to see an improvement in the food but there’s little you can do without a catering kitchen.
My son loves the team and we are so going to miss the kindergarten. If you want to have really focused care, support and tailored learning for your child in their early years Howley Grange Kindergarten is the place to choose.

Howley Grange Kindergarten was the best place for us. The staff was very supportive and thoughtful, the activities planned were engaging and I knew my child was happily playing and learning in a secure and safe environment, which is what you want as a parent.
My son’s confidence has massively improved since joining the nursery and built some very positive relationships with both staff and children.
Thank you for all you’ve done for my son these last couple of years. He will miss you all.
