Shooting Stars Nurseries at Stourbridge

I have had both of my children attending the nursery. Both of my children settled in really well when they first started. The nursery offered lots of settling in sessions for both of my children to ensure they get used to the nursery environment and this was really helpful. The staff at the nursery are excellent, friendly and approachable. I also like the idea of the EyLog where you can access daily diaries, reports and photos of your little one having great fun, playing with toys, and doing various activities, which is reassuring as they spend good quality time in the nursery whilst we are at work. I also think that the nursery did extremely well during these difficult times. They remained opened for children of key workers and kept us regularly up to date with the latest news and risk assessments ensuring that measures have been in place to make the nursery safe. The nursery also has a cook on site which is great. I highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

We have been so happy with Shooting Stars since the moment we first viewed the nursery when pregnant. Our little boy settled in so well during Jan 2021 when he started at the age of 1. We were impressed with how well the nursery has dealt with all of the changing restrictions as a result of Covid-19 and was extremely happy to still be able to attend the first 2 settling sessions. Being in attendance makes all the difference when leaving your baby for the first time.

Our little boy has never got upset at drop off and always seems calm and settled into his routine during the day and the camera is great to check how he is doing occasionally. It is clear that the social interactions he gets and the activities they do have aided his development. The staff in the baby room have been amazing and we are looking forward to seeing how he transitions with his move to the toddler room in the coming weeks.

I was really nervous about sending my daughter to nursery after having a lockdown baby who I’d never been away from. However, I needn’t have worried as Shooting Stars have been amazing! My daughter has attended for 6-months now and absolutely loves her time there. All the staff are wonderful and caring, and it is such a lovely and welcoming place. They have really got to know her little personality, and the updates they provide throughout the day are so lovely. I feel so lucky to have such an incredible nursery so close to home.

My little boy started Shooting Stars in September last year after looking at a few nurseries. The second we walked in just felt like home. We both have had such excellent experiences since then, and he has formed such a lovely bond with all of the staff in the baby room, and when I say all, I mean the whole nursery. It’s so lovely when we walk in, every member of staff we pass knows his name, and that says a lot about a nursery and staff. Shooting Stars came highly recommended, and I now know why, the care given by all staff, the wide range of toys and experiences they encourage the children to play and get involved with and a gorgeous garden all with an added bonus of nursery cam which is great, I also love how staff have been at the nursery for years, which encourages me that staff love the work environment. As a qualified teacher and working within education and educational settings, I wanted a nursery that really encouraged learning through play, and Shooting Stars does just that.

Shooting Stars is a wonderful nursery with caring, friendly and professional staff. They all go above and beyond to ensure the children are supported and nurtured whilst encouraging and teaching them. All staff are very knowledgeable, and we appreciate being kept on top of the achievements and developments. The rooms and outdoor spaces are great offering lots of opportunities to try new things in a safe environment. Our little one loves going to nursery and always has a smile on her face!

I can’t thank the staff enough who look after my little boy; they are always so pleasant and supportive. My son is taking a while to settle in at the nursery, but the staff are always so kind and make leaving my son a little easier for myself. The staff in my son’s room are very compassionate about their job, and I love when they send me updates throughout the day on what my son is doing and also his progress. All of the staff at the nursery are very polite, welcoming and pleasant.

My twins have attended Shooting Stars Nurseries at Stourbridge for eighteen months and they absolutely love it! They are always happy when dropped off and picked up and have built a great bond with the staff.
The daily diaries and regular pictures/videos, together with the parent stay-and-play sessions, enable parents (and grandparents) to feel engaged with the nursery and the development of their children.

From the moment I entered the nursery, I sensed a warm and welcoming environment which would enable my child to thrive. The staff are so friendly and approachable and are certainly people you can trust to keep your children safe due to their genuine care for each one of them. I’ve also been impressed with the daily updates on my child and the communication as a whole.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after my son. It’s been challenging for him to settle down, but the staff have been amazing with him. All the effort they make for him to feel comfortable, it’s so important for us parents. Excellent nursery!

My daughter has attended Shooting Stars Nursery in Stourbridge for one year and nine months and absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and supportive. The staff genuinely care for and build a lovely bond with the children, and even staff from other rooms know my daughter’s name. It’s really lovely that each child has a key person, and you feel like they have individual care and someone you can approach. The staff have always made us feel very welcome, and from her first day, it has been a warm and welcoming environment. The communication is excellent, and I really enjoy getting updates on the app, photos and a daily diary. My daughter is always happy to go into the nursery and really enjoys the different learning activities, outdoor area and toys and resources. The variety of meals and snacks is great, and my daughter always eats well and enjoys her food. Recently, we have started potty training, and the staff in her room have been so supportive of this. All in all, fantastic!
