The Cornerhouse Nursery

We would enthusiastically advocate The Cornerhouse. Most activities are orientated to encourage the kids to explore (a lot of messy playing!) and prepare them to go to school. We find the parent’s app extremely good and enjoy seeing photos of our young lad playing with his peers. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner and he has always gone above and beyond to meet our family’s needs. Both of my little ones have gone to The Cornerhouse and both have enjoyed it there. We like that it’s relatively small and the personnel know the youngsters exceptionally well. The kids also make close friendships and know each other by name. After trying 2 nurseries before The Cornerhouse with my first little one, we knew this one was the one for us. We particularly like that the youngsters games outdoors every day.

There are plenty of different educational spaces (both indoors and outdoors) which the little ones enjoy. We enjoy the regular updates through the phone app to see what they have been up to and stimulate conversation about their day in the evening. Especially some of the messy games which I am glad is not in our house! We have two kids who have joined Cornerhouse childcare centre since before they were one over the preceding three years. They also enjoy occasional trips going to the local park or to see the ducks with the team. Our kids are exceptionally thrilled at early‑years hub and enjoy the variety of social and educational experiences on offer. We like that Cornerhouse is a relatively small nursery setting with dedicated personnel who all know our little ones well. Thank you for everything you do looking after our boys. We have had nothing but positive interactions with personnel who are always welcoming and useful.

He adores attending and skips in when he sees his crew members. We get excellent feedback on an app during the day, which gives live updates and photos of his daily activities which we can comment on and interact with. It’s really useful in advance to know what he’s eaten, how he has slept and his general activities before we pick him up. His advancement has progressed hugely since he started, and that is a credit to all the childcare centre team. He gets a range of activities each day and always comes home proud of the things he has made. I felt he was in protected hands from day one. The small intimate family feel of the childcare centre is what attracted us to it. The early‑years hub has provided excellent care and assistance for our young lad since he started previous year. The whole team are cordial and approachable and helped him to settle in immediately and put our minds at rest.

Highly endorse! Her speech especially has developed a lot. We treasure The Cornerhouse! Our little one settled in nicely from day one, and since she started there, she’s learned so much. And she really has bonded with her carers and her little friends.

My little one was a exceptionally picky eater, however thanks to early‑years hub team that promotes ‘healthy eating’ he started eating a big variety of fruits, vegetables and various meals. Our kid adores going to The Cornerhouse Nursery and I would strongly advocate it to any parents looking for the warm and cordial atmosphere surrounding their kid while they are in the early‑years hub. They also made the potty training process exceptionally easy for us. Can’t suggest this early‑years hub enough! We get truly regular feedback on his progress from the key worker. Our little one has been in the The Cornerhouse Nursery for over two years and we can see how well is he growing, developing and discovering new things every day. Nursery is excellent from all the aspects.

Such a wonderful nursery setting with fantastic members of personnel. The personnel are so lovely and caring – our boy enjoyed every minute of his time at Corner House. From the time I did my initial visit, to the first day my young lad started, I knew we had made the right decision.

The personnel are kind and welcoming, from management all the way down the chain, I would like to give a special thank you to all the team for all the hard work they do; they go above and beyond, extremely understanding people, easy to talk to, extremely supportive, and most importantly, are there for our youngsters in helping their advancement and needs, constantly assessing our kids and keeping us updated. This early‑years hub has done wonders for our two youngsters who enrol at and one to join next year.

Regardless of what room they work in every member of team knows my little one and welcomes her with a big smile. The meals including snacks are healthy, home cooked, and well varied. They are nurturing, kind and knowledgeable in little one growth. Communication with management has also always been excellent. The nursery setting has the perfect balance of free playtime and structured absorbing activities both inside and outside and my little one has come on leaps and bounds with her discovering and speech. When choosing a early‑years hub it was really important to me that my girl was given healthy, well balanced meals and the food at the nursery setting is incredible, she eats much better than me! During her settling in period, the crew supported not only her but me with the process of introducing her to childcare for the first time. I would wholeheartedly advocate The Cornerhouse Nursery. My girl started at The Cornerhouse Nursery previous year and this childcare centre truly is remarkable, it is a home away from home.

They offer healthy food, and our kid simply just enjoy going to The Corner House Nursery. Friendly and supportive crew. Our kid has made great advancement over the past few months. A great childcare centre that takes great attention of our little one.
