The Nest Nursery Wood End

All the crew are lovely and the environment at the early‑years hub is beautiful. When my little one started I had speech and language concerns and some sensory questions and they’ve been incredibly helpful and useful – he’s flourished in their environment and they keep him engaged in activities that he enjoys doing and support him in exploring new ones. This early‑years hub is fantastic.

They treasure the freedom and space they have to explore, and I enjoy how their inquisitive natures and desires to explore are encouraged. After my eldest little one was still not settled at a different childcare centre despite her having joined for well over a year, we decided to try The Nest Nursery Wood End when I started back at work after maternity leave with my second youngster. My second youngster (currently in their preschool group) and my youngest (currently in the baby room) both enjoy it too. The Nest is a truly enriching time every week. I am gutted I didn’t just go there from the start! The whole setting rooms and garden, are a dream for the youngsters to potter around in and engage with each other and their educators. They don’t just host the kids, they really know them and treasure them. They do the most lovely activities for them to try out and explore. She settled so quickly. I can not suggest this childcare centre wholeheartedly enough. The personnel are awesome too – so helpful and understanding.

My journey with this nursery setting is just incredible. Also, my girl comes out of the nursery setting so pleased and always tells me what she has done, how nice the kids and crew are, which makes me extremely delighted that my kid is in this remarkable early‑years hub. My little one treasures everything about this early‑years hub, every day she absolutely treasures and enjoys being with the other youngsters and all the team. From the moment my young lady started, they put us both at ease as we have never been apart. She has progressed so much and become a lot more assured with everyday life things.

The daily reports are regular ‘focus week’ keeps parents engaged, and we always know what’s going on at the childcare centre. The workers genuinely treasure the kids. My little one now goes to The Nest, and she can’t wait to leave the house in the morning to get to the childcare centre. He’s still in touch with some of those friends, even though they’ve now gone to different schools. Brilliant all-round! My young lad moved from a local early‑years hub to The Nest, where he thrived, built confidence through the outdoor activities, and made great friends.

My young lady was enrolled at The Nest Nursery Wood End between 2017 and 2020 and as a kid, she absolutely adored it! Communication is great and the facilities, activities and absorbing methods are wonderful. My now 2-year-old is also attending and he treasures it too. So much so, that the early‑years hub has been a sticking point for us to stay in the area. Staff members are absolutely fabulous. I pretty much doubt I will be able to find another nursery setting like it. The crew are trained regularly and are all so loving and caring. Little ones feel nurtured and as a parent, I am at ease knowing my kid is pleased, protected, enjoyed and cared for.

The early‑years hub keep us updated on activities during the day with photos and videos – this helps reduce the anxiety about leaving them knowing they’re enjoying themselves. I’m particularly impressed with how they have handled my daughter’s allergies going above and beyond to provide secure appealing foods. The nursery setting also provides a good varied diet for the kids. The crew are compassionate and caring. The Nest Nursery provides the perfect nurturing environment for my little one. I know she is safe and well looked after, as well as stimulated and encouraged. Thank you x I wouldn’t suggest anywhere else and feel incredibly lucky to have got a place.

Wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else, even if it was half the money. Love the curiosity approach. My kids have learned a lot in terms of creativity and social abilities. Absolutely lovely team, extremely caring. Incredible nursery setting. Amazing garden.

I can’t praise the people at the childcare centre enough for the assistance and encouragement they provided for my young lady and continue to provide, in particular, one ‘Baby Room’ team member. The team take so much effort to set up new experiences for the little ones and always keep parents involved with ‘Focus Weeks’ being the time where you can have an in-depth conversation with your child’s key worker. She was extremely shy and reluctant to go, mostly because she wasn’t used to new faces due to being born at the height of the first lockdown. The ethos of the childcare centre of the ‘curiosity approach’ is such a forward-thinking, yet simplistic approach, which allows the youngsters to follow and explore what they find interesting. My little one started attending The Nest Nursery from October 2021 when I returned to work. The setting is a home away from home so the youngsters are not bombarded with colours and plastic, but rather a calmer setting where they are drawn to what interests them.

I cannot advocate this nursery setting wholeheartedly enough. Not only are all the team kind and nurturing to the kids, but the facilities are also superb. The youngsters are protected and cared for beautifully and there is truly much a feeling of ‘family’ which is reassuring. My granddaughter absolutely enjoys it and has lots to tell me every evening, when I collect her. We really struck lucky getting a place at this childcare centre. We have seen positive change within weeks. Although slightly late with speech progress, it was picked up by her brilliant key worker, discussed and a plan put in place to help. There is a huge garden and outdoor area for the youngsters to explore and this is encouraged in all weather.

The nursery setting space at The Nest is lovelier than anything I would have imagined before seeing it. Couldn’t wish for a better early‑years hub! The crew are remarkable, caring, welcoming and nurturing. My youngster is so thrilled here! I’d endorse The Nest to everyone. The ethos of the team and nursery setting is in my opinion, just how all nurseries should be.
