Inglenook Children's Nursery

The staff were excellent who settled my son in initially. I was very anxious about the adjustment but it was so smooth. The staff are all very prompt to respond to queries/questions and they have a great app that keeps us posted on all the days activities and my sons learning. He has developed great skills since being in nursery and they have brilliant activities. I have already recommended the nursery to a friend who also is impressed with the nursery,

These are our daughter’s final months before going to school and we wanted to share our experience. All members of staff have been part of our lives for the past 4 years and we will miss them all when we will have to leave. We have been so impressed with how diligent the staff have always been and how quickly new staff found their feet. One thing that always struck us is how much of a caring and loving community the nursery is. We have been spoilt with attention and care from each and everyone at Inglenook from all the staff and the most caring cook in the world. The staff put a lot of effort into creating wonderful and happy memories for children who are all nurtured and encouraged to celebrate all the milestones of their first years, whether it relates to family birthdays or religious/national celebrations. Since new owners took over, we have noticed many great improvements to day to day run of Inglenook Children’s Nursery.

Just a brilliant nursery in all regards including safety and well-being; food; activities; development; staff; ownership; investment in the nursery; information etc. A vast improvement since being under new ownership. No surprise people travel miles to bring their children here.

My son started in June when he was 14 months. I was apprehensive about sending him and thought he was too young, but the staff put me at ease straight away. My son loved it from the very beginning and got stuck in playing with the toys and engaging with the lovely staff from his first taster visit. The nursery staff take the children to a lovely park with a lake and a large playground area which the children visit often. They do a lot of activities which you are updated about with photographs on the app. Most importantly my son has learned loads of new skills since starting which I really don’t think he would have picked up so quickly at home. It’s a great place to send your child.

This is a wonderful nursery that has looked after two of our children over the last five years.
The staff are wonderful and make huge efforts to create interesting and exciting playing and learning experiences. We have also always been struck by the effort put in to make children from different backgrounds feel included and learn about other cultures and traditions.
Our children have had a great start in life thanks to Inglenook Children’s Nursery and we couldn’t speak highly enough of the carers there.

Lovely, caring nursery. The staff are very well trained, and I feel my children are in safe hands. The standard of facilities and care is very high. Meals and snacks are nutritious and varied. Activities are well-planned and support learning. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

We have been really impressed with Inglenook Children’s Nursery since our son joined in January. The settling-in process was fantastic and the staff really helped to put us, as new parents, very much at ease. We are regularly updated on our little boy’s daily activities and progression against development goals. Our son is very happy at Inglenook and we would highly recommend.
