February 23, 2022 at 12:00 amI recommend this nursery to all my friends. My son has been going here since he was 10-months-old. He has developed strong bonds with the staff; it has also really helped his development and prepared him well for school. My 10-month-old is due to start soon, and it is comforting to know that my son has such good care at this nursery. I am confident his transition to the nursery will be managed well by the staff.

February 24, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been in Singleton Day Nursery for just over 6-months. She has settled in very well. All staff that work with her knew her and what her needs are. She does lovely activities every day. The menu is varied, and I cannot fault the standard of food. We use cloth nappies, and the nursery is happy to use them also. Systems and processes are in place so that we always feel like we are involved in our daughter’s day (despite being in a pandemic, not entering and masks). My daughter runs in in the morning and is so happy going there, which makes a huge difference to my day.

March 2, 2022 at 12:00 amI’ve had a great experience with the nursery – love receiving regular feedback and updates through the app. I’ve changed days recently, and the whole process was so easy to arrange. My little boy loves going in and obviously enjoys all the food he’s given!
I’d love there to be an update on who’s who staff wise, as many of us that had children join during Covid have never got to meet everyone properly. Everyone is fantastic; I just feel bad I don’t know everyone’s names!

March 2, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending the nursery for almost two years and absolutely loves it. She currently attends playscheme, and the girls are amazing with her.
Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. As always, kept up to date with how she has been throughout the day, and I feel relaxed at work knowing she is having a fabulous time.

March 22, 2022 at 12:00 amI can’t comment long term as my little one (11-months) has only had two settling sessions so far, but I can say she has loved it. Staff have been so friendly and helpful. On the second day, my little one couldn’t wait to get into the arms of the lady and go inside. The app is brilliant, giving updates and photos to give you peace of mind. The outside area was very important to us, and it looks amazing. The kitchen and under 2s area can be seen through windows, so loved seeing all the veg prepped for dinner time when I turned up unannounced to ask more questions! And most of all, the parents I have spoken to at drop off/collection have only had very positive things to say about the place, and I’ve asked a few! Excellent, efficient, helpful, good app, kids can’t wait to go, multiple children there, no dramas… have all been comments people have given me, so I feel very pleased with our choice and can’t wait to see how our little one grows during her time there. Some scores are lower only because too early to comment yet.

March 22, 2022 at 12:00 amExcellent daycare setting. Staff are kind, approachable and caring. Care is mixed with learning and play in a seamless manner. In the preschool room, staff work with children towards Government recommended targets in line with school settings. The meals provided appear healthy and nutritious.

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Singleton Day Nursery since she was six months old. She is now almost four and still loves it there. The staff are amazing, the food is always great, and communication with parents is excellent. Would recommend it to anybody

The staff have been really kind and supportive and have worked with us to help our daughter settle in. The app is used really effectively to share information, and it is easy to keep in touch with staff throughout the day if needed. It has taken our daughter a while to settle in, but the staff have been so caring and committed to helping her find her feet. We would definitely recommend it!

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son attends Play Scheme at this day nursery; he has never said he doesn’t want to go in. The staff are all brilliant, and I love how they take time to give every parent a full and detailed handover at pick-ups. That means so much. He is very pleased when a lot of his school friends attend Play Scheme too, but equally, he has lots of fun when they don’t. He is especially fond of one member of staff, and she’s been made aware of this.
I can highly recommend this place and will continue using it for half term. Thank you for all your hard work, everyone.

March 6, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending singleton nursery for almost a year now. As a single mum with a little 2-year-old really busy boy, I have struggled with him. Since starting at Singleton, I have noticed a massive change in him, and I honestly feel this is the best decision I’ve ever made for him. He absolutely loves going to the nursery to play and see all of his friends. I know the team genuinely cares about him, and that’s all I can ask for. The constant updates on the app make me feel at ease when I’m at work also. Everyone I’ve met has such a friendly and approachable personality. His speech and behaviour have improved also since starting there.
I want to give a special shout-out to his key worker, he absolutely adores her, and every morning, he asks for her. She is kind, caring, understanding, and such a beautiful soul and Singleton nursery is so lucky to have her as a team member. I will forever be grateful to her. We love her to bits, thank you.

He frequently tells us about all the things he’s been up to, including painting, washing baby dolls, riding bikes and counting. Lovely staff. Staff happy to use reusable nappies. I feel safe leaving our child here whilst both parents are at work, knowing he is well cared for and happy.

March 29, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son started at Singleton Day Nursery in November from being at another nursery. And honestly, the staff helped him with his transition flawlessly. He took to all the girls and loves them, as the girls love him. I never pick him up with a bad word is said. They say he always makes them laugh and smile. His speech is now brilliant, and he is starting his counting and everything. Turning two in March ‘23, he is just the smartest little boy ever. Not a day goes past when I am not glad I made the move for him to Singleton Day Nursery.

March 29, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has attended since December. Notice since he started, he has flourished with his speech and talking more clearly. Staff are always happy, friendly and so supportive. The app they use is great, as can see what the children are doing, so feel great knowing they are getting taken care of and shown the fun they have. Best nursery by far.

Since going, she has become more social and confident around people.
I don’t have any point of reference as I haven’t used a different nursery, but I am completely happy with the service we get and would recommend it to anyone.

May 31, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending the nursery for nearly four years now, and we are so happy with the care and attention he is having at the nursery.
All staff members are kind, calm, helpful and professional; I always feel that he is in very safe hands while at the nursery. We especially enjoy the regular updates from his key worker, who always keeps us updated on his day and learning progress.
I also wanted to mention how helpful and friendly the management team are, always on hand to deal with any enquiries that we have.
It really is a fantastic nursery, and sending our son there is the best decision we ever made.
