Nestlings Eco Nursery

All the staff have made my son feel very safe and comfortable at the nursery. He joined at thirteen months old after primarily being at home just with me during the pandemic, he was shy and very nervous around other people. From the start, he would get a little upset initially as I left him there but they would message and send me pictures within half an hour to show me that he is fine and playing which helped put me at ease and he is now much more confident and social. The staff are always celebrating his developments with me and know everything that’s going on with him. At every drop off they check back on how he’s doing with any issues we had from the previous time he was there, such as teething or not sleeping. He absolutely loves it there!

I really can’t gush about Nestlings Eco Nursery enough. Leaving a child in care of someone is hard but in the middle of a pandemic, they have been wonderful throughout. My daughter started there at ten months and now takes her bag to door in the morning to go. Communication, ethos, safety measures, variety of activity, one to one care, knowing each wonderful staff member, a bilingual and multicultural environment, organic, sustainable and lots of fun! It’s been a catalyst for her development, an only child in lockdown but she has the best social life and skills from there. Other parents are equally as supportive and friendly. Feels like a family. I hear about niggles from friends using other places such as lack of flexibility, bringing nappies and sun cream, restrictive rules for babies and awful communication, I can’t believe how lucky we are. I can’t fault it.

Couldn’t be happier that we’ve chosen this nursery for our child. They are all incredibly welcoming and accommodating. In addition, the staff are wonderful, and our child’s key person is incredible.
We’re always kept up to date with developmental milestones and day-to-day well-being and activities.

Our little one has almost been in Nestlings for four years! She’s always happy to go which is a huge relief for us. Communication at the nursery is effective and quick either through the app, email or phone. The big smiles at the door from the staff make us feel welcomed. I love it when the girls take the time to give feedback on what our daughter has done during the day at home time. The variety of different fruits and vegetables that my daughter eats at the nursery is impressive and is well recorded on her daily diary through the app. The children spend large parts of the day outdoors either playing in the garden or walking to the local parks and museum which we feel is fab. I’ve used other nurseries with our other children. I’d highly recommend Nestlings.

My son started Nestlings nursery back in October of last year. He absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing all call him by name and are so warm and friendly. As a first-time mum, I was understandably nervous about leaving my 9-month-old all day when I had to return to work. But they instantly put me at ease, they were there to give support and advice to navigate the transition. Even through staffing changes the support and care has been constant and to a very high standard.
Since starting nursery my little boy has grown in confidence and his social skills impress me daily.

My daughter is nearly 2 and a half and has been at Nestlings Eco Nursery for around 13 months. She does 4 x full days a week.
She thoroughly enjoys her time at Nestlings. She has made friends with the other children and loves all the ladies and her key worker.
They do varied activities with outside time every day and the food is good quality and varied also with a balance of meat, fish, vegan and veggie.
The nursery is great at working with us when we would like to implement new things, I.e start potty training. The one thing the nursery could improve is its systems and at times, communication.

Our child has been attending Nestlings Eco Nursery for almost 18 now and we are very happy with the progress our child has made. Our child takes part in a wide range of activities and visits around the local area and we enjoy getting a glimpse of her day through the photos and notes posted on the app. The staff know our child well, knowing their likes/dislikes and give feedback everyday on how they are doing. Our child has developed a good bond with their Key Worker and other staff that they interact with regularly. The food provided is healthy and homemade as well. We are extremely pleased with Nestlings and would not hesitate in recommending them.

Excellent care, activities, and resources are always provided by Nestlings Eco Nursery. Communication is always prompt. Wholesome range of freshly prepared organic meals. Our daughter enjoys her time spent at Nestlings Nursery.

My child loves the Nestlings and always looks forward to playing with her friends. She often names her key worker as her ‘best friend’. There is scarcely a day that she doesn’t run into the nursery with only a cursory glance back. Every day we chat about her favourite thing – it’s usually a trip to the museum or the homemade pizza!

My son hasn’t long started with the nursery setting and the staff seem very attentive and welcoming, so he is starting to settle in now.
The Mothers’ Day “Stay and Play session” was wonderfully thoughtful and the activities set were great, very engaging, open-ended, and sensory!
I chose the nursery because of its eco-conscious ethos and was thrilled to see a water filtration system for children’s consumption and for cooking usage!
My son loves being outdoors in all weather, and I have been told that new garden equipment has been purchased for babies, so they can explore the garden more, which I know he will love and am already excited to see the Springtime garden photos in the near future.
