Selca Day Nursery - Pencoed

They’re incredibly flexible, accommodating and useful, and always available to answer any questions. I treasure that they can burn off energy even when they’re indoors because the room is so large. They’re welcoming and delighted every single day. I’m really pleased with Selca, Pencoed. They take the youngsters out for walks in the village, to the shops and the park regularly, which I cherish. They use an app to update you on their daily activities and food that they’ve eaten, which is really useful, and it comes with a daily photo as well. They have been really accommodating with figuring out tax-free childcare, the free hours etc, as well, so I can’t fault them. They tailor what they offer to suit individual needs like no other early‑years hub I know of. They have a really big open hall which the kids enjoy to run around in and explore the different activity stations that are laid out. Each member of team is absolutely lovely.

The wrap-around attention provided is a huge help for us with our young lad attending afternoons in school and us working full time, it’s a long day, but he’s always keeping busy and worn out when we collect him. Can’t fault all the personnel and the commitment they have to the little ones! The team are always accommodating, and it’s lovely that the youngsters are all pleased leaving. The app, which is updated throughout the day with photos and information, is great, and you feel like you can keep up to date with what they are doing. My young lad has been attending three days a week since Selca opened in Pencoed in January.
