Atelier Nursery Chippenham

We visited a couple of nurseries prior to visiting Atelier and were considering me not returning to work as we weren’t comfortable with the settings we’d seen. Then we saw Atelier and were instantly overwhelmed by the attentive nature of the team and the incredible opportunities and space it had to offer. I signed my son up immediately. During settling in sessions, we worked together and I felt just as supported as my son. My son has been going since it opened and will leave next year when he goes to school – I don’t know what I’ll do without them. All of the team make an effort to get to know each kid and the parents, it truly has a family sense. My son loves the free flow and has absolutely flourished here. His development has consistently been encouraged and he loves it! Atelier have the most outstanding offering in this area.

Their previous childcare centre was fine but it was obvious from the outset that Atelier was a cut above average.
The building and garden are excellent and the management are obviously well-organised and proactive. However the most important factor is obviously the team. We were interested to note the rigorous selection and trialling of key workers when the childcare centre opened. It was worth it – the team are organised, imaginative, energetic and positive.
We were initially slightly sceptical about the “free-flow” approach but have since become converts given it’s applied so well. We still don’t truly “get” some of the Atelier terminology or theory employed but it clearly works truly well. So our quibbles have proved wrong!
Atelier is slightly more expensive than average but both our kids have been highly cheerful and we have consistently had 100% self‑assurance in the team. Our daughters joined Atelier shortly after the Chippenham childcare centre opened.
