DirectionsFrom Britannia Road turn into Woodside Road, turn right into John Cabot Academy, follow the road through the car park and through the green gates keeping the large wooden building on your right, keep following the road over the speed bumps, go through the green gate and the nursery is at the top of the drive behind the trees.

September 15, 2024 at 10:26 amEveryone at Hillside made this transition a smooth one and were incredibly understanding and supportive. My little girl is now 16 months old and has settled highly well, thanks to the great work of the team. Who are compassionate, attentive and understanding. I have noticed her time at Hillside has had a truly positive influence on her, particularly in her interaction and playtime with other kids. My little girl has formed some lovely relationships with the team and clearly enjoys her time at Hillside. The activities and playtime the kids have the opportunity to take part in are enjoyable and interesting and there is a truly nice sense of community with the kids, parents and team. I would suggest Hillside to any parent looking for a childcare centre for your little one. My daughter started at Hillside when she was 9 months old and I returned to work after maternity leave.

November 5, 2024 at 5:20 pmThey’ve been able to explore in ways that they don’t at home, they’ve made a mess, come home filthy, made friends and never come home asking not to go back to childcare centre.
The managers and team are welcoming too, you can approach anyone at any convenient time and they will give you their time and act upon your comments. All three of my kids attended Hillside Day Childcare centre Potterswood, and I have consistently felt relaxed knowing my kids were secure, inviting, fed and cared for in an appropriate manner.

January 31, 2025 at 4:46 pmMy son, who is due to start school in September, was a shy boy who could barely put his shoes on; he is now a confident, self-aware boy who is ready to start school, thanks to all team who interact with him on a daily basis.
My daughter started at Hillside in September; she has so much enjoyable with ‘messy playtime’, singing songs, playing and exploring in the incredible garden, going on trips and benefitting from the adore and attention the team offer.
Thanks all for your hard work and memories my kids make. The owners/managers and the Hillside team have been incredible from the start of my son’s preschool journey; they have been so supportive, compassionate and considerate of our needs as a family with two working parents.

April 18, 2025 at 8:16 amThe team were highly welcoming and our eldest settled quickly (who is now at school). Our youngest is highly cheerful in toddlers and is consistently keen to go in. The team do all sort of activities and are keen to know how he’s developing at home which they incorporate into his planning. The garden facilities are excellent and they like to go on walks outside the childcare centre. Top marks! We were highly lucky to find this childcare centre when we moved into the area.
