Yew Trees Nursery

Our two children have been in Toddlers and Pre-school and we honestly could not speak more highly of all the team at Yew Trees. Every day they offer so many fun, creative and imaginary play ideas- inside and out; from walks in the fields, exploring wildlife, painting, reading, exercise and more. The food that is cooked on site is also incredible and it amazes me what they have been eating. All the staff have been so caring and kind, they really are the best! Every day there is an app that you can access showing you all the different things they have been doing with photos and links to their learning. As the time for preparing to school came nearer they offered more focused learning and support with transitioning from nursery to school which was fantastic.

My son recently finished his time at Yew Trees, and we were so sad to see him leave. He had a very difficult two years at the start due to his health, and the nursery was amazingly supportive and accommodating throughout. My little girl has now been there for 18 months, and she has progressed so well. She was extremely attached to me, and her key worker in the baby room went above and beyond to help her settle and make me feel at ease. The staff are friendly and welcome each child into the setting at the start of the day. Information on what they’ve been up to is shared on the app, and it’s lovely to get updates and see pictures of their daily activities. A real positive of Yew Trees is the setting. Children spend a lot of time outside exploring and doing lots of forestry-style activities, which is great. Overall, a wonderful nursery with great staff and management.

I currently have my third son attending Yew Trees in the little learner’s room. My other two sons have also attended, which shows my confidence in such a wonderful nursery. The transition between rooms has always been seamless, and each key worker has always been super kind and professional. The facilities at Yew Trees are what really impress me, such a wonderful outside play area and equipment to play on; I love the walks the children go on, and being a lover of nature, I am a huge fan of their ethos of being outside come rain or shine. The daily updates on the app and quick responses to messages are lovely to read. The management is so helpful and has always tried to accommodate extra sessions for me. The food offered is also exceptional, with themed menus and a wonderful variety, accommodating any dietary needs. I would highly recommend this nursery, so much so, when I chose it, I didn’t even need to view any others, I just knew it was perfect for our family.

After my daughter’s previous nursery closed down, we thought it would be difficult for her to settle elsewhere. From day one, the team have made my daughter feel so comfortable, she absolutely loves it here, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Yew Trees are a wonderful nursery, my first daughter went through from babies to pre-school and absolutely loved it, she went every day with a smile on her face and always looked forward to it, and she was brilliantly prepared for starting school last Sept. It was natural to reserve a space for my second daughter as soon as I knew I was expecting! Both my daughters have benefitted massively from the experienced and hugely caring staff. The abundance of outdoor space and activities all year round are great and have really helped my girls to develop; language, confidence, social skills and so much more come on in heaps and bounds! It was the space and nursery setting that first attracted me to Yew Trees, but the staff who cemented my decision. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. My youngest is now in babies and throws herself into the arms of her key worker – she adores her! The staff really do go above and beyond; I can’t recommend them highly enough – it made going back to work easier!

We were really nervous about our little boy starting nursery, however, the staff have made it very easy. A member of staff is absolutely amazing and our little one gets excited to see her (and the other staff) when he goes into nursery. He has developed well since starting and we feel nursery has really helped his confidence.
They all seem to really know their stuff and care about the little ones in their care. We get regular updates through the app which is really reassuring as you can see what your little one is getting up to during the day. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat through any changes to routines or developments and are always great if you have any questions.
We love the outside space available! And it is amazing that the children get to spend so much time outside
The staff always seem to work hard at providing different activities for the kids including getting messy and we love the crafts and cards which come home as well.

Our little boy has been going here full-time since he was ten months old. He absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring, we feel that he is properly looked after and encouraged to develop his own personality every day. I love how much they get them outside into the fresh air and all the lovely activities they do every day. The app is great, I love the daily updates and photos, and the food looks brilliant.

I could not recommend a nursery more than Yew Trees. The staff are so kind, friendly and genuinely treat your child as their own. They genuinely care and have the best interest of the children at heart. I have never had any doubts or worries about sending my child here, in fact, my daughter loves it so much that she barely wants to leave in the evening. The communication between parent and nursery is outstanding, the environment is second to none and I would not even consider any other nurseries after the brilliant experience we have had at Yew Trees.

I am so happy with Yew Trees Nursery. The Toddler Room provide exceptional care for my twins. Their key workers have made so much effort to get to know their different personalities and provide the support that is specific to their needs. The daily report is always great to read and the communication from the team in the room is always fab. The girls love going outside and adventuring and the outdoor space is amazing!

Amazing. I moved my child from another nursery to here and it was the best decision ever. The staff are incredibly approachable and friendly, many having worked at this location for most of their career. My daughter loves the outside space and play equipment available. Healthy food choices and a great app to check in on your little one if you feel you need it.
