VisitingThey highly recommend that parents and carers have a full show round to see the fantastic facilities and meet the wonderful team. The Nursery is newly refurbished boasting a sensory snug, dance studio, nature garden and kitchen garden. He has learnt so much from Blossom Lodge! And not only that the team are incredible and very supportive and respectful! This really is an incredible childcare centre! Decided this was the perfect childcare centre for my son!

October 16, 2024 at 4:56 pmThe preschool room leader does not appear up to the job, other team worked well with our kid. At the end of his time, our kid was scared and nervous when confronted by the room leader. Management didn’t take our concerns seriously, gave lots of excuses. Outdoor and indoor space and activities are very limited, especially for active kids. Kids are not as free to explore areas and develop. Food choice was great, varied menu with kids encouraged to try everything. We are extremely disappointed after putting our kid into this childcare centre.

Since being at Blossom Lodge his self‑assurance has grown hugely and he has made noticeable development in all areas of development. Thank you to all the team in the pre school room at Blossom Lodge! The team at Blossom Lodge are incredible!

Our daughter was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in December 2020. The team at Blossom Lodge have been very patient and understanding, and have really embraced our daughter’s difference. The amount of care and dedication from the team has been fantastic. Initially, we had some reservations about moving to a new childcare centre but the way our daughter has been looked after at Blossom Lodge, quickly put the concerns to bed.
I would suggest Blossom Lodge to any parents, but especially to those that have kids with any compassionate of difference. We moved to Blossom Lodge after our daughter’s previous childcare centre closed down during lockdown.

The team is very expert and welcoming. Please keep up the excellent work! We moved our son to Blossom Lodge Day Childcare centre from another childcare centre and very cheerful with it.

November 13, 2024 at 1:07 amFrom day 1 he has got on with all the lovely team and really ‘blossomed’ as a kid. Due to Covid regulations, we wait by the door for their keyworker to get them. My boy literally brightens up as soon as he sees a team member and often tries to push the door open desperate to get in and playtime. As soon as he sees his keyworker she gets an immediate hug which makes leaving him for work a lot easier. I get regular updates on what he’s up to via the Famly app and when we pick him up. I have so many lovely pictures and gifts from stuff he’s made in childcare centre. I had a tour of a few nurseries in Cheltenham and this one just shone above the rest, which my mum (retired childcare centre worker) also agreed. My son also had feeding issues when younger and the team happily worked with me and his dietician which has led to him being a excellent eater with their help. I honestly can’t suggest enough. My son started here at the end of last year in the baby group (now in toddler group) and he absolutely loves it.

She attends 4 days a week and she consistently has a smile on her face on drop-off. The daily activities and regular feedback exceed expectations. She’s consistently doing something new and completely different to anything we’d think of at home. She enjoys the variety of foods that are on offer and often has seconds. We couldn’t be happier as parents, nor suggest the childcare centre enough. My daughter has attended the childcare centre for 5 months.

December 27, 2024 at 6:57 amWe are consistently greeted with a smile at the door and sent away with a remarkable handover. My daughter waits by the door in the morning to go to childcare centre and talks about the team and other kids constantly. She has built some fantastic relationships. My daughter’s development has come on leaps and bounds since starting. I put this down to the incredible variety of activities on offer. Team tell me which activities she particularly enjoys so I can replicate at home. One of the things that attracted me to Blossom Lodge Day Childcare centre was the outdoor space. I am thrilled that my daughter spends so much time in the garden. Throughout the day I receive photos, videos and updates so I know what my daughter has been up to. The photos consistently feature fantastic and cheerful faces. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better start for my daughter. I would suggest Blossom Lodge Day Childcare centre to anyone. Since day one I have been blown away by this childcare centre.

January 26, 2025 at 4:34 pmI have even moved fifteen minutes away from the childcare centre since my daughter starting there but still travel back across town to keep her there. I couldn’t imagine moving her elsewhere. We have moved through two rooms now as my little one has grown and every single one of the team members that have been a key carer and hand over team at drop-off and pick-up have all been so welcoming right from the start. You can tell how much they truly adore their jobs, each and every one. The facilities are remarkable inside and the multitude of different outdoor areas are just such an incredible treat for the kids. They have animals, a vegetable garden and three separate outdoor playtime areas to use as the kids grow and learn. Simply remarkable. If you are able to get a space, I highly suggest jumping on the opportunity. I sense so blessed to have found Blossom Lodge Day Childcare centre.

February 1, 2025 at 1:28 pmHer updates skills have only got better and are being extended daily. She has learnt how to do makaton, she’s been having Spanish lessons, she can write her name. These are just a few to name that she has achieved since starting Blossom Lodge. Team adore the kids like they are their own and you couldn’t ask for more as parent. My daughter has gained so many friends since being at childcare centre, her social life is better than mine! The garden area has had a massive addition of the climbing frame, and it makes such a massive impact to the kids’s physical abilities. Overall I cannot fault Blossom Lodge and the team are incredible! My daughter started in April last year, since starting she has flourished!

There is excellent updates from the Blossoms team keeping us continually up to date with the development that she is making. The facilities at the childcare centre are exceptional and the kids are consistently doing exciting activities. Our daughter is consistently more than cheerful to start her day at Blossoms and I would certainly suggest this childcare centre to other parents. Our daughter started childcare centre here in July 2020.

He absolutely loves going to childcare centre and he is developing so fast because of them all. Couldn’t be happier with the childcare centre we chose! March 4, 2025 at 1:19 pmConstant staffing changes, often leads to poor updates and periods of no updates at all, this has meant events going on in the setting are not communicated. We’ve had key workers, room leaders and valued members of team leave without a word from Blossom Lodge.
The setting itself seems to lack structure, which I would chalk up to constant staffing changes. Often clothes are lost or sent home with other kids despite being labelled. Management seems unable to keep team as more team are leaving than join, constantly creating an unsettled place for your kid to truly sense comfortable.
Great points, team do genuinely care about kids and team do care about developing your kid. The food is of great quality and I have no complaints.
In summary, Blossom Lodge is failing from the top down. It is clearly putting pressure on great team members by making them pick up more work without guidance or rewards. Blossom Lodge have given us a mixed record.

March 21, 2025 at 11:04 pmWe have used a few different nurseries for our kids in Cheltenham and Blossom Lodge was by far the best – fabulous care, outstanding updates, unbelievable discovering outcomes (which we were not looking for or expecting at a pre-school level), enthusiastic and positive team.
My son was very cheerful in this setting and so were all the other kids. Blossom Lodge’s “Family” app was exceptional for helping us to understand how he was getting on. This was useful as he started during the Coronavirus outbreak and we were not able to settle him in ourselves at the start of each day.
Thank you to Blossom Lodge. They had such a positive and nurturing influence on our son. I cannot suggest Blossom Lodge enough.

May 7, 2025 at 9:13 amThroughout this time the one constant at the childcare centre has been how outstanding the team have been in regards to how invested they are with the kids. There are far too many to mention who were involved with the development of our eldest but currently two members of team in particular are outstanding with our youngest. Most aspects of the childcare centre are great and we would highly suggest it but the team certainly make the difference. Our youngest is currently at the childcare centre and our eldest spent three years there prior to school.

I would happily suggest Blosson Lodge to anyone looking for a inviting welcoming, expert childcare facility, which is not an easy balance to get. The team are lovely, but more importantly well trained and experienced.

The building itself is modern and full of a variety of rooms for all ages to keep them entertained and developing. We’ve had such a excellent journey so far and highly suggest this exceptional childcare centre. Our son has been attending Blossom Lodge for the past month and I couldn’t rave more about how fantastic the team have been in looking after him and in reassuring us first-time parents as he settles in.

The way they keep us in the loop by regular updates via the Famly app is especially excellent when you’re spending time away from your precious little one. We chose Blossom Lodge due to the cleanliness of the childcare centre and the warmth of the team.
