December 19, 2022 at 12:00 amThe Cheltenham Nursery School is such a wonderful place. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to support and communicate everything that happens each day. My son loves every minute and has never resisted going in each day. The new building is second to none in the area and caters for everything a young child needs in their development at an early age. Being connected to The Prep School offers even more opportunities with incredible grounds, facilities and specialist staff. Having been to another local nursery prior to this one, I can 100% say that this is an outstanding nursery. I feel very lucky to be able to send my son here and would highly recommend to anyone in the Cheltenham area.

December 19, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending Cheltenham Nursery School since April 2022 and he has thrived since joining. The care from all the staff is amazing, everyone is so warm and welcoming and they all have great knowledge of the child’s individual interests. The activities on offer are incredible and include French, PE, music, outdoor learning and wellbeing all taught by specialist staff. The facilities in the new nursery school are outstanding and we really do feel our son is getting the best possible preparation for school in this first-class setting.

December 19, 2022 at 12:00 amWe are so delighted with Cheltenham College Nursery. Our little girl is so happy there and every day is a different and exciting adventure! From fun at Forest School to singing in French, specialist PE lessons or baking extravaganzas, we are amazed at what the wonderful team create for them. The new facilities are fantastic but for us, the most special part is feeling as though we are leaving her in the care of family each day!

January 11, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been attending nursery since April 2022 and previous to him my daughter went there. It’s such a fantastic nursery.
The children have a wonderful learning experience and, importantly, they have lots and lots of fun. The staff are all fantastic and work so hard to ensure the children are happy, safe and have fun. Every day my little boy comes home saying he had a great day.
The building, both inside and outside, is wonderful and they have so much space to play and run around.
Being a part of Cheltenham Prep School means the children have the benefit of the wider school facilities. From French to forest school, art to phonics, PE to creative play. The experience the children have really sets them up for school.
It really is a wonderful nursery and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it.

February 24, 2023 at 12:00 amThe Nursery at Cheltenham Prep can only be described as completely wonderful. The balance between structured learning and play is perfect, in addition to plenty of time outdoors exploring. The facilities and space are fantastic. My daughter is very fond of her teachers and happily enters nursery every morning. However, the best part is the smile on her face when I collect her in the evening, excited to tell me about her day and what she has been up to! Highly recommended.

February 24, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have been delighted with Cheltenham Nursery School. Our son joined in September 2022 and loves it. The staff are so attentive and nurturing, whilst the new building is simply stunning. I love how the outdoor space has a large covered area so they can play outdoors in all weather conditions. Specialist teachers teach music, French and P.E, my son always talks about P.E! There is also forest school several times a week, the list goes on! We would highly recommend the nursery school.

They do lots of interesting and fun activities every day and nurture each individual child. She has made lots of friends and will have lovely memories from her time here.

February 28, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter gets super excited whenever she sees the school. She can’t wait to see her friends, which is what she calls her teachers. She has a diverse range of opportunities to help her develop and decide what she really likes to do. Every day brings a new experience and always lots of fun. She returns home tired but happy.

She has previously not attended a playgroup or nursery so this was a new experience for her – and us – and we knew it would need time. The staff have been really helpful and supportive, knowing how anxious we were and how much she may find it hard to adapt. They are so caring and they do offer a lot of reassurance. We attended the Fun Fridays to help us experience the nursery setting and that really helped prepare her. The facilities are incredible and they do lots of varied activities every day. It’s been a really positive experience for us all but especially our daughter.

March 1, 2023 at 12:00 amCheltenham Nursery School has a fantastic new purpose-built building with new rooms, equipment and facilities. All the staff I’ve met are friendly, helpful and have a genuine interest in the children, their care and well-being. They’ve helped me, as the parent, feel comfortable with their routine and helped during the settling-in period.
Our son (4 years old) started in January without knowing any other children, he received a welcome letter from his key worker to introduce herself, the group he would be in and what they’d be learning for his first term.
There’s a lovely warmth about the place and I feel happy leaving our son in their care, knowing that he’ll have a little structure to his day as well as time for play and exploration. Updates via the app are a welcome insight into his day. He’s quick to settle post drop off and happy at pick up, at times singing a song in French!
Drop off at 8 am is busy so I try and arrive a little before. Pick up at 5.30 pm is no trouble.

March 1, 2023 at 12:00 amMy son has been really happy at the nursery and settled right in. He loves all the activities and has made lots of new friends. The new building opened in September 2022, is fantastic, with plenty of outdoor areas and bright indoor play sections. The staff are lovely and helpful. We get regular updates on the app on his progress. The children are encouraged to be self-sufficient and independent. All in all very pleased!

March 8, 2023 at 12:00 amThe facilities are outstanding and the friendly, approachable, professional teaching and support staff work hard to create a positive, harmonious, fun and supportive daily experience for our daughter. She is happy and confident and has thrived since joining in April 2022. She enjoys a balance of fun imaginative play and structured learning, making full use of the wonderful grounds.
The nursery school is the nurturing foundation stone for her school career, she feels part of the broader school community already, through integrated activities (lunch, concerts) or special event days such as STEM, art or sport.

March 10, 2023 at 12:00 amAn incredible setting for a nursery school. My daughter is so excited to go in each day, she absolutely loves everything that is on offer. The opportunity for the children to do activities such as music, french and outdoor learning is excellent for getting them ready for school as they also are exposed to different teachers for these specific activities. The nursery school itself is purpose built and utterly beautiful having only opened recently. There is a covered outdoor area meaning that whatever the weather, the children can spend lots of time outside. It’s a child’s paradise! I can’t recommend highly enough.

March 22, 2023 at 12:00 amNow six months into our time at Cheltenham Nursery School and we couldn’t be happier. It was a difficult decision for us to move our son from where he was previously but we felt that the brand-new facilities and impressive offerings of Cheltenham Nursery were worth a gamble and they have more than lived up to our hopes.
With a varied timetable, including lessons with specialist teachers (music, French and PE), copious amounts of time spent in the beautiful nursery garden as well as at forest school, to the kind, compassionate, dedicated and experienced staff.
We love how the nursery often integrates with the “big children” in the dining room, has visits from the much older children to read and play and they have the use of other facilities at Cheltenham Prep School.
Communication between the nursery and parents is exceptional, with fortnightly updates on what our son has been doing as well as termly one-to-one parent meetings.
We cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

He’s loved his time at the nursery and it’s clear how much he’s learnt from the short time he’s been there. In addition, the new building is fantastic and the resources on hand are amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend the school to others.
