Tops Day Nurseries: Gillingham Nursery

We consistently look forward to the updates on the app and seeing what she’s getting up to. Our daughter consistently enjoys her days at Tops and the wide range of activities on offer.

The childcare centre setting is educational for my kid to keep him stimulated. The team update his playtime activity on an app, which is really nice to see, when I am at work. The garden is a bit small, which can’t be helped. Overall, the team work very hard. The team are very supportive and welcoming.

She is now non-preschool, and she has grown into such a confident little lady. The team have gone above and beyond to accommodate her and make her sense comfortable at childcare centre. They have an outstanding range of activities and really let the kids express themselves. My daughter has been attending the childcare centre since she was 8-months-old.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the care that she receives – I sense very comfortable to leave her there and she has a lovely time. Updates to parents is outstanding so I consistently know how she’s getting on and what she’s been doing. My daughter has just turned one and has started at Tops Childcare centre.

However, the team immediately put me at ease with their care and knowledge, and having a dedicated Key Worker settled everyone involved. Now, at nearly three and a half, my little girl has been through all the stages at Tops and enjoys every day. She talks about the team (including the Chef!) and the things she has done during her day with excitement and enjoyment. There aren’t any downsides for me. Bookings are made easy, the food consistently smells inviting and the range of activities to keep my daughter interested and engaged consistently surprises me. The outside area is a huge draw and the addition of Cooking and Forest Schools are a welcome addition to an already excellent setting and service. My daughter has been at Tops since well before her first birthday and to say I was anxious about sending her at such a young age would be a massive understatement.

The team are very attentive and he comes out and goes in cheerful, I can’t ask for any more! Our son has settled in really well at Tops.

With having a baby in lockdown and also my first kid, I was apprehensive about how my daughter would get on with other kids and the general atmosphere of childcare centre, but she’s doing so well already. The team have been remarkable and helped my worries disappear. I can’t wait to see her develop and thrive at Tops! My daughter has just started at Tops and she absolutely loves it!

Very welcoming team, my kid loves going there. Only 2 downsides is the waiting time at the collection, often in the rain and cold; second is the updates – the response time can be up to a few days. The flexible times are a bonus though. I would suggest it. Lovely spotless childcare centre with excellent equipment.

Even came out to the car park to reassure me she had stopped crying when I was in tears because she had wailed when I handed her over! They reassured me it’s okay to check in for the first few weeks and I have done. The food is incredible, they follow all my daughter’s dietary requirements and she is consistently given a hearty meal and pudding. You are sleep wizards. My daughter naps far better at childcare centre than at home, which was such a worry for me as she feeds to sleep at home. My only criticism, and not really a criticism, is that I don’t do drop-off or pick up so updates is really important to me. It’s nice seeing photos on the app but it would be nice for the childcare centre to lay out how we should communicate effectively possibly via messages. Also, would be excellent to have a parent’s WhatsApp group or something, so I know who my daughter is in with. We have been really impressed by the compassionate team at the childcare centre, they have really supported me with my daughter starting at the childcare centre.

We get frequent updates on the parents’ app and it’s excellent to see what she has been doing and see pictures of her enjoying her time at childcare centre. The team are all lovely, welcoming and welcoming. My kid seems very cheerful at childcare centre.
