Woodlea House Day Nursery & Pre-School

I was, like any first-time mum, dreading giving my kid to someone else to care for, but I can honestly say, after the first week I could not have been happier. They had a remarkable settling-in process which got myself and my daughter used to the transition and made me sense totally at ease. Their care and the adore they show my daughter is just incredible – from all the team. Their facilities are remarkable, very spotless, loads of different things for your kid to do and exceptional discovering tools. They share pictures of your kid and notes from the day so you know what they’ve been up to. And they help incorporate things from home into childcare centre life (such as dropping naps/potty training etc). My daughter is so cheerful there and I am so so pleased the manager set up this childcare centre. Thank you so much for looking after my little girl, like a home away from home. I could not rate Woodlea high enough, the childcare centre is remarkable!

She has become much more confident with others and asks to come every morning. So pleased she started here and would definitely suggest. My daughter started in January this year and she absolutely loves the team and the childcare centre.

The team are excellent, my little one loves going in and they consistently offer a wide range of activities for the kids. I would highly suggest Woodlea and think they are doing a excellent job. The app is also excellent and we adore to see the updates each day. Sending your kid to a brand new childcare centre is consistently daunting when you have no feedback to read, no Ofsted report or any recommendation but honestly, I wouldn’t let this put you off.

After experiencing some unease with our previous childcare centre, we switched our son over to Woodlea House and he has been cheerful ever since. The team is incredibly welcoming and truly dedicated to providing the best possible care for your kid. Plus, they offer remarkable home-cooked meals prepared by on-site nutritionists that my son absolutely adores. Parents are kept in the loop with regular updates and plenty of photos through the app. We highly suggest Woodlea House for anyone seeking outstanding care. The kids learn really great life skills but at the same time, they can still be kids and have enjoyable without even realising what they are discovering.
The facilities are outstanding and the cleanliness is incredible.
No hesitation in recommending Woodlea, it is remarkable. Absolutely cannot fault this childcare centre/preschool, team are very welcoming and expert.
Drop off and pick up is very, very smooth!

The manager is approachable and genuinely cares about the kids and their families. The childcare centre team are welcoming, full of enthusiasm and it is clear that they adore their jobs and helping the kids develop.
They supply lovely home-cooked food and they have encouraged him to try new foods he hasn’t tried before, the outside area has been perfectly created for toddlers.
I adore that they update the app during the day with photos and food, nappy changes and naps. It’s such a relief to know that your kid is in the safest of hands whilst at work. I can’t fault this childcare centre – my son started when it first opened and I am so glad I changed his childcare centre to Woodlea House.

All the team are lovely and go above and beyond, the owner is so lovely, consistently supportive and is consistently there to assistance parents without any judgement! I can’t express enough how lovely this childcare centre is and the unconditional assistance they give. My son has been at Woodlea for nearly a year now, and his development has come on amazingly!

Since starting we have seen a huge leap in her and she loves being there, consistently cheerful to go, not consistently cheerful to leave! At the start I was told the aim was to be a home from home and a little childcare centre family, they have achieved that. When you walk in not only is the setting stunning and very spotless with a great range of activities offered, but the atmosphere is calm and inviting. The team are remarkable, you can see how much they care about the kids, nothing is too much trouble and they are so accommodating! They have an on-site chef/nutritionist, seeing the range of food offered is incredible, our daughter is having the opportunity to try new things all the time. Also, with us both working shifts the breakfast club is so handy (something we struggled to find). Can’t suggest Woodlea more! Our daughter started when the childcare centre opened, having come from a childminder it was important the setting has the right sense while allowing the opportunities for her to develop more and Woodlea has that!

In our opinion, the childcare centre is outstanding across all elements, it’s by far the best we have come across and believe me we have looked at a excellent deal of places. We are two miles from the childcare centre and do have places closer to home but nothing comes close to Woodlea House Day Childcare centre & Pre-School. The owners ooze passion and truly adore the childcare centre, team and kids. They put an enormous amount of time and effort into the site which you can clearly see – if you have the opportunity to send your kid here, grab it with both hands. The owner – thank you for everything, you have something to be proud of. First of all, I’m not surprised this childcare centre has been classified as one of the best in the South West for the second year running.

When I went to look around it was in the process of being built. But when I walked through the door and had a conversation with the owner about the childcare centre and what they had to offer, I knew I wanted her to come here. I wanted somewhere that’s got a homely sense but also somewhere her development could thrive and I generally sense that this is the place for that. But I can honestly say I’m so cheerful that I chose to send her here, she comes out cheerful every single time which makes me cheerful.
The owner and all the team are so lovely and I sense like nothing is ever a problem.
Would definitely suggest this childcare centre. My daughter started with Woodlea House when it first opened in January, she’s never been to a childcare centre setting before so this was a first time journey for both me and my daughter.
