Poppin's Day Nursery

His updates skills, numeracy and literacy are well ahead of where he needed to be for preparing for school and his teacher has commented on this too. The discovering alongside playtime at Poppins is so well balanced that they make discovering enjoyable without an easily distracted boy becoming distracted. My son has made excellent friends with the team who he often would talk about and enjoys seeing each day. I personally felt supported by the team too, who took an interest in us and how we were as well as the kids, I’ll be sad not to chat to them at pick-up and drop-offs now my son has left. Keep up the great work guys! My son has been with Poppins from the age of about 15 months to leaving for reception and his time has been fantastic.

The time that our little man spent in baby room truly was first class. The girls in baby room were remarkable with him. They made it super easy for him to form a bond with each of them and, although there were tears at drop off on most days, they didn’t last long as he soon felt at home with all the girls. All activities were excellent as well.

He has become a confident, compassionate, nature-loving little boy. The team were all excellent with him and got him more than ready for school. Food cooked on-site and a excellent selection of meals, catering for all dietary requirements. My son absolutely loved it here.

My daughter adores the team and consistently comes home shattered after a busy day. A fantastic home from home setting.

All the team are welcoming and compassionate and will go above and beyond for each kid in their care. The nurseries facilities are outstanding and they consistently provide interesting and exciting opportunities even from a young age. This ranges from Forest School, Mindfulness, walks out in the local community and cooking. Updates is excellent through an online app and team are consistently available if you ever need to speak to them. We have been so blessed that our daughter has had the best possible start and couldn’t be more thankful for all the work the team do at Poppins. Since our daughter started at Poppins in the toddler room, we have been so highly grateful for the care and nurture she has received.

All the team were welcoming, polite, inviting and welcoming and this helped my son to settle in quickly. The resources were remarkable and consistently seemed well looked after. There were opportunities for trips out to local farms, walks down to the river, Christmas visits from Father Christmas etc, and we were consistently told well in advance of these through monthly newsletters. The forest school was exceptional and a real bonus for my son, it’s rare to find nurseries with forest school-trained members of team. The online Tapestry system for observations was easy to use and was also used to communicate with us how much our kid had eaten throughout the day, which was highly useful for me as my mother-in-law did the pickups! The team were calm, expert, and the childcare centre felt like home from home. My son consistently came out smiling! My son attended Poppins for 18 months before starting primary school and I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic childcare centre and the team that work there.

They sense so cheerful ans secure here! I would like to give Poppins a 5 star rating for being like a second home for our kids.

After looking at too many nurseries we chose to send him here, from the start recommendations and inviting welcoming atmosphere. We have loved it ever since. I sense cheerful to leave him with the competent team knowing he will have a day of enjoyable. Baby number 2 will soon be joining also! My son has attended Poppins from 9 months old.

Poppins were excellent in reassuring me and made me sense so cheerful and comfortable to leave my kid with them. Now he’s been there over 12 months and what a 12months it has been! My kid is an individual to them and they care about what he likes and his interests. He has developed so much, it’s the best thing we have done sending him here! Nothing is too much of an issue for them and no concern is too silly! Through the pandemic they have been exceptional too, every team member has truly put themselves out there for the kids. They have been COVID free which I think is remarkable and shows what they are doing is working.

I highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone, you will not be disappointed, it’s a home from home for your little one. My son has been attending Poppins for just over 12 months now, I was a little nervous and unsure at first as my kid had never been in someone else care.

Steps were taken to help our daughter settle in and they have truly got to know her well.
Team are consistently highly welcoming, welcoming and ready to give our daughter a cuddle if she gets upset.
Our daughter has had lots of opportunities to explore new activities, skills and loves the outdoor playtime. A highly expert team. My husband and I have been exceptionally pleased with this childcare centre.
