September 1, 2024 at 6:55 amI highly suggest. Springfield is a fantastic childcare centre that my two year old thoroughly enjoys, the team are lovely the facilities are excellent, especially outside where the kids can interact with animals.

September 2, 2024 at 3:09 pmThe indoor areas are spacious with lots of optional activities for them to occupy and expand their minds.
My kid has been there for over 2 years now and risen up from the baby room to the barn and loves it. The team are consistently welcoming and the whole site has a excellent atmosphere. Springfield is an outstanding childcare centre, it has incredible outdoor space and with the opportunity for the kids to meet all the different animals on the farm on a regular basis.

September 28, 2024 at 1:59 pmBoth kids have had a excellent journey. It’s so reassuring to leave your kids where you can trust all the team to really look after them, and give them a enjoyable day. Due to it being based on a farm the kids get a very varied day and experiences they are unlikely to get elsewhere. They get outside every day which is excellent. Would definitely suggest Springfield. Both my 4 year old and 1 year old attend Springfield Childcare centre, each starting at 10 months.

November 9, 2024 at 8:31 amShe is very cheerful at Springfield. She is cared for amazingly and has made some lovely friends. Springfield is on a working farm and the kids spend lots of time outside and visiting the farm. This week they saw the donkeys, which my daughter loved. Springfield is such a fantastic attentive setting for any kid to spend time in. My daughter only attends childcare centre one day a week but asks to go everyday.

If you live in Devon you probably want your kid to be able to delight in the countryside even whilst at childcare centre and Springfield fulfills this beyond your wildest dreams.
Both my daughters adore Springfield, cannot suggest it highly enough. Springfield childcare centre is a remarkable place.

Lots of different experiences available by being a country based childcare centre. My grandchildren and their friends had the best possible start to their social lives. The childcare centre also caters for after school and holidays. Highly recommended. This is a remarkable childcare centre.

The outside facilities they have available are remarkable, the kids do forest schools and are able to use the outdoors to enhance their discovering. I cannot suggest Springfield childcare centre enough, my daughter loves going.

December 11, 2024 at 3:37 amMy youngest is consistently so excited to go and especially loves seeing the farm vehicles and visiting the pig!
Being situated on a farm the outside spaces are outstanding. They include a garden where they grow vegetables, various animal pens and lots of kid welcoming space for playing. The kids are able to access these during all weathers, my youngest likes nothing better than getting kitted out in wellies and going puddle jumping!
The team are very welcoming and expert and have consistently maintained outstanding updates. A truly exceptional all round childcare centre, I suggest them to everyone with young kids and it is the only place I am comfortable and cheerful to leave my kids. Such a remarkable expert childcare centre, both my boys have been going since they were 11 months old, the eldest finished last September but still returns to use the holiday club facility which he loves as its structured and they do loads of enjoyable activities.

December 22, 2024 at 12:13 amIt’s an incredible childcare centre with lovely team and excellent facilities. My little boy is now tractor mad from visiting the farm next door and seeing all the animals – you just don’t get an journey like that at most childcare centre’s. His key-worker is so well bonded with him that she’s like a second mum and I’ve never had any concerns leaving him. We’ll be sending our second kid when I finish my maternity leave. Can’t suggest enough. Can’t praise Springfield enough!

The space is remarkable, as is the time they spend outdoors, and the team have all been excellent. I would highly suggest Springfield. I have had kids at this childcare centre since 2011 and have been exceptionally cheerful with the service.

March 6, 2025 at 12:45 pmThe equipment is in great condition, plentiful and all designed for little people. The team at Springfield are very expert and certainly come across as very attentive. There is an outside / inside policy which means that the kids can consistently go outside whatever the weather, which means there is a lot of freedom for the kids to playtime in a extremely secure setting. Plus they have the added benefit of going out to see the animals on the adjoining farm, which my son absolutely loves. There is no doubt in my mind this is the best childcare centre in North Devon. Not only is this childcare centre set in the most idyllic setting in North Devon, overlooking the Taw and out to Appledore, the facilities are superior.

March 14, 2025 at 8:22 amWhen I drop my daughter off I want to stay myself, there is so much outdoor space with lovely views and animals that they go and feed.
Messy playtime, singing, bug hunts and making pizza are just a few things my daughter loves the most.
I’ve never had a day when she hasn’t wanted to go. So glad we found out about the place. Springfield is by far the best childcare centre in North Devon.

May 27, 2025 at 11:18 pmMy youngest starts school in September and I’m going to be so sad to be leaving there.
The fact it’s on a working farm makes it unique. How many other nurseries can your kids come home and say “we fed the pig and saw a lamb be born”? There’s a huge emphasis put on outdoor playtime, they go out rain or shine, which is so important.
I can’t suggest it highly enough! Both of my kids have attended Springfield and have loved every minute.

May 28, 2025 at 8:41 pmA friend recommended Springfield and as soon as I went to look around, I fell in adore, so got her on the waiting list.
The team are really attentive and cheerful, they do everything and more you want them to and Management are really accessible should you need them.
The owner is consistently there and works so hard to ensure the childcare centre is tiptop.
The girls in the baby room are lovely, I cannot suggest them any higher. The areas are all spotless and full of educational items. The outside areas are out of this world, with farm animals and so much for the little ones to do.
I travel 40 minutes round trip for my daughter to go to Springfield. I think that alone is a recommendation! My daughter started Springfield when she was just 8 months old and is so very cheerful there.
My son had been to a childcare centre in my home village, but 6 years on, I wasn’t cheerful with that childcare centre for my daughter.

May 31, 2025 at 12:17 pmBoth of my girls adore everything about it. I cannot suggest it enough. The team are fab and know the kids so well and where else do your kids get to feed the pigs, cuddle the lambs and collect eggs from the chickens?! An incredible setting for kids.

The team are enthusiastic and passionate and you can tell they genuinely delight in their jobs and care about the wellbeing of the kids they look after. My daughter absolutely loves childcare centre and it’s so reassuring to us that she is getting the best possible start to childcare centre/education. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Springfield is an incredible childcare centre, the team are remarkable, the location is incredible.
