January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amReally accommodating nursery, always friendly staff. A real sense for genuinely caring for our child and other children. Passionate about what they do. Our daughter really looks forward to attending and couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amAs a nervous parent, I couldn’t recommend Marjon’s enough. We moved to Marjon’s in September and the change in my son has been amazing. The staff are all so friendly. I love how they keep you informed and nothing is too much worry for them. They are so attentive to the children then can tell you everything when you pick them up. In the current climate, they have been completely open about everything and communication has been excellent. Can’t thank all the team enough for their excellent care.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amI cannot recommend Flying Start enough, my son has only been attending for 5 months and is already thriving. In the short time of attending, they have gone above and beyond not only for my son but for our whole family. I am always being kept up to date with my child’s progress through the app, the staff are always there for help and support or even just for someone to talk to. Thank you to each and every member of staff at flying start, you are all so kind and compassionate and always make us feel welcome.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amReally pleased with Flying Start. My daughter started in the baby room where she was for a few months. She had the transition to the toddler room during the Covid pandemic. The nursery took all the steps to ensure it was a smooth transition and that my daughter was happy and settled. My daughter was very clingy when she started nursery and would cry when I tried passing her over. Now she runs in without saying bye to me, she lists her nursery workers names off to me and is genuinely happy to go there. I’ve seen an increase in her confidence and development and I’m very glad I sent her to this nursery.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amIt’s times like these where you really find out about the companies and their values and I can’t recommend Flying Start highly enough. They’ve had to deal with all the obstacles but communication has been excellent throughout and they’re always flexible and understanding when you need them to be. Our daughter loves being at nursery and she always talks about the staff and her key workers which shows how much of an effect they have on her. Both of our children have attended this nursery and we’ve never had any issues and we’ve always felt that our children are safe, being cared for and always developing. I personally would highly recommend Flying Start Marjon. Thank you to all the amazing staff in these difficult times.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amMy little girl started at Flying Start Marjon last October. We were lucky in that we were able to view the nursery before the pandemic and can say it is absolutely lovely. The staff are very professional and friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs. I think it is a very positive thing sending my little girl to nursery and any apprehension about it quickly disappeared as it was clear the staff had made every effort to make her feel welcome and safe. I think it is even more important now there is an epidemic as socialisation and interaction are so important. She loves her key worker and we look forward to the updates on Eylog!

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amFlying start have always been absolutely brilliant, but especially over the past year during the pandemic. They have been so helpful and reassuring – with the children and us as parents and good at keeping us informed about everything going on. They always have time to talk to you about anything and I love seeing all the updates and photos on eyLog app. All 3 of mine have loved it there. I love that they get meals included which is one less thing to worry about each day and kids like the outdoor play and shepherd’s hut particularly. The staff group are pretty stable too, and the staff who welcomed my oldest 7 years ago are still looking after my youngest now which is lovely to have that continuity. I chose them initially because of the outdoor space and the fact I could park easily for pick up and drop off, but there are loads of other reasons I’m so grateful for all they do, they are brilliant.

January 29, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has attended Flying Start @ Marjon from 7 months old. We work full time so rely on long hours and want our daughter to enjoy going to nursery. We wanted to send our daughter to a safe, happy environment that gives her the opportunity to socialise with other children whilst experiencing varied learning opportunities. This is something that we feel they excel in. Our daughter is always excited to go to nursery and runs to meet the members of staff without a fuss. If they are unsure of an answer to an inquiry, they always refer back to other members of staff or management to give us accurate information. They provide us with detailed feedback and help us develop our daughter’s learning further. Our main priority is for our daughter to be in a safe environment and given the current pandemic this is something that they have worked tirelessly to do. The communication through the app allows us to stay updated with changes and they have followed Government guidance throughout.

Doing everything they can in order to keep us informed of any changes and the government guidelines. Continuing with the utmost professionalism whilst having to deal with staff shortage due to the pandemic.

February 4, 2021 at 12:00 amWe’re so happy our daughter has a place at Flying Start @ Marjon, the team there are so friendly and welcoming. Our daughter started at a difficult time, in the midst of the pandemic but our key worker could not have been any more helpful, reassuring or professional. Communication has been good throughout and we particularly enjoy getting updates on our daughter’s day via the EyLog App. After only a few sessions our daughter has settled in well and we are looking forward to watching her develop over the coming years in their expert care.

February 4, 2021 at 12:00 amMy little girl started here in August 2020 just through the pandemic and I was worried that I was not going to get her in a nursery anywhere as finding a nursery is difficult during a pandemic – the manager was absolutely amazing and helped me and reassured me that she would have a space. It was a weird time looking at a nursery virtually and we have still not stepped foot inside but from what I saw virtually it looks like a home from home and all I wanted was the best for my baby and I’m pretty sure she’s got the best and I have never looked back. It has honestly been difficult to settle a child in a nursery during these times and even to the first settle session not being able to go in and settle her – I felt so anxious and worried but I didn’t need to be, my daughter seemed settled from the start. Everyone is absolutely lovely and I know my child is cared for in the best way so thank you all so much… love getting all the updates on what she’s up to.

She started in the baby room and is now in the preschool and has enjoyed every stage. The staff are so friendly, if I ever have any concerns with my daughter they are always happy to help and offer advice. My daughter gets very excited for her days at nursery and she always has so much fun. It has been amazing for her development, she learns so much every week as well as having the best time!

She wakes up every morning asking if it’s “nursery day”.
She has friends, she has learnt many of her developmental skills from being at nursery and being around the other children.
She has fun but also in an educational way. We are told if there have been any incidents or accidents regularly and always kept in the loop with her development stages.
The staff are fabulous and have rules and behaviour expectations so great to follow as well at home.
Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

November 29, 2021 at 12:00 amMy baby boy started in July, being a lockdown baby and me going back to work from maternity, I was worried about leaving him. The ladies in the baby room soon settled him quickly in just two weeks and he loves attending now. His key worker couldn’t do more for us. He loves the healthy sugar-free lunches and treats on Friday with cake for pudding.

This is a wonderful nursery, lots of lovely staff all with different personalities and character, my daughter loved going to nursery and she actually transfered here midway through a year.
It took only a couple weeks to settle in and find her voice, and after that it was like she’d been there all along.

January 31, 2023 at 12:00 amSince my son started at Flying Start@Marjons, he has become so bubbly and happy to ask to go to nursery at the weekend. He loves the staff and has his favourite key worker he likes as well. He has come on so well since he has been at the nursery, and I wouldn’t look back now since I sent him to this nursery.
My son has developed in all areas at the nursery, but he is in the forest hut now and loves every minute of learning new skills. What is good about the nursery is that at the end of my son’s day, the staff will explain what he has done in their care and what he played with and friends and lunch too. Excellent choice I have made for my son.
The nursery and the staff are so friendly and happy, which makes me feel happier when I take my son to this nursery. The manager at this nursery is fantastic, understanding and brilliant and friendly makes you feel welcome.
