Tops Day Nurseries: Prince Rock Nursery

It is a excellent facility with a really nice and secure outdoor area. The team ( and in particular the Childcare centre Manager) are really welcoming and approachable and have consistently made me sense at ease about leaving my son in their care. They use a excellent online system to update you on your kid’s development. The system also allows you to add in your own photos, videos and observations which I thought was particularly beneficial during the lockdown as it allowed us to still sense connected to the childcare centre. I would definitely suggest Tops. My son has attended Tops Prince Rock since he was 17 months old and both mine and his journey of the childcare centre has been really great.

The team are so welcoming and welcoming, and my daughter settled in really quickly. They are very attentive, and I sense they really get to know each kid and their interests and development too. There is plenty for the kids to do here and the outside space is remarkable. I am really cheerful with the care my 16-month-old daughter receives at this childcare centre.

He has made excellent bonds with the team, and it’s clear they know all the kids as individuals. The team look out for each kid’s well-being and are consistently welcoming and supportive.

The kids take part in a wide variety of activities, and this is communicated to parents very effectively using a daily app; as well as other updates about his day.

The food menu is very nutritious, and there is a excellent variety in the meals offered. I think the food is outstanding value for money.

There is a lovely ethos to this childcare centre, and the outdoor facilities are a real plus. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it to others. My son absolutely loves it here.

The flooring is awful and marks all my kids’s clothes and is actually more of a hazard in itself. For this reason, I have marked value for money down quite significantly as I don’t sense the space is yet up to the standard being charged. Also, the inside space I understand the use of non-plastic but that doesn’t mean everything needs to be brown. Everything is very bland and comments I have had when showing someone photos of my kid at childcare centre they joke of it being a “prison childcare centre” – On a positive note, the food and meal selections are outstanding, my kid is enjoying these and the team are also outstanding. From when I viewed the childcare centre last year September time to now, the outside garden space has had no improvements made.

They are consistently cheerful to give advice and give lots of feedback. The outside space is terrific with lots of different areas to explore. It’s a lovely childcare centre run by excellent people. So glad we choose Tops, Prince Rock. Another massive plus is how eco welcoming it is. They are more than cheerful to use cloth nappies. Excellent job ladies. The team are all so lovely my son loves going to playtime with them.

We picked the setting because they are an eco-welcoming childcare centre, and they have been very supportive of us using cloth nappies with our 16-month-old. He has settled remarkably quickly and it is clear that he has a lovely bond with the team, who in turn are consistently very enthusiastic and appreciative of him as an individual. We adore that he spends time outside regularly and is given space to be himself (a very energetic and boisterous boy!) Updates between us and the team via an app ensures we can keep track of what he’s doing at childcare centre and stay in regular contact. His dad particularly appreciates this because he doesn’t get to drop/collect him, but he still feels involved. We are so impressed with Tops Prince Rock!

Our nearly 3 year old had a lot of upheavals when starting here, as we had relocated so we started her on half days for a few weeks until she had to go full-time, due to work commitments. She settled in relatively easily and even when drop-offs were difficult, she consistently came out full of beans, having had a excellent time. Possible emotional difficulties were raised with us, we were aware that she sometimes struggles to communicate where other kids her age probably wouldn’t, but even in the short time since this has been raised, we’ve seen an improvement. The team are understanding, not just of our daughter but us too and we couldn’t be happier with her being here. This childcare centre has been exceptional, from our first contact with the admin team.

She looks forward to going every time and is greeted with smiles and enthusiasm. Throughout the week when my daughter is home she is still talking about her childcare centre nurses and asking to go. They provide us with information about my daughter’s day regarding sleeping times and how much she’s eaten every pick-up. This childcare centre has welcomed my daughter lovely.

My daughter’s review of the childcare centre was instant, as soon as she came out of her taster session she shouted that she has “the best childcare centre EVER!” and has proceeded to tell everyone we have seen since. She is eager and cheerful to go to childcare centre, even on days where she isn’t going! Could not have asked for a better start to her childcare centre journey. Suffering from severe anxiety sending my daughter to childcare centre was consistently a daunting thought but all the team at Tops instantly put me at ease, answering any questions I have and being supportive to myself and my daughter.

Now, at 7 and a half years, she still comes for holiday clubs in the school holidays. She consistently has a exceptional time. I’m consistently impressed with the entertainment, educational and nutritional aspects of her day. I consistently suggest it. My daughter’s been attending Tops Prince Rock since she was a baby.
