October 9, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter was inconsolable leaving me on the first two days, however within just those two sessions she is now desperate to go to nursery. Her face lights up when I mention she is on her way to school and she exclaims “I love it”. The staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she settled in well. Great food choices and variety of activities. Cannot fault them at all. One less worry for a busy mummy.

October 27, 2020 at 12:00 amThis nursery is amazing. The staff are wonderful they keep me updated on my sons day to day experience there. He has become more outgoing and friendly he is learning so much from them, he has made loads of friends and I will be sending my other son there when he older.

February 19, 2021 at 12:00 amI have found the staff to be happy, information and helpful. My daughter has come on massively since joining this nursery, and I love hearing about all her adventures. They are always exploring new things, and also ask me what my daughter enjoys at home, this means that we are all working together to make the best experience. This makes my daughter’s journey between her home life and nursery much easier.

July 19, 2021 at 12:00 amWe absolutely love this nursery. My daughter moved from another nursery when she was 2 and settled in so well. All of the staff are absolutely fantastic; really attentive, friendly and caring. My daughter absolutely loves her nursery days and can’t wait to get in and play! We are so, so thankful to everyone at Tops Efford and would 100% recommend it to anyone and everyone! Fantastic, fantastic nursery!

August 3, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending Tops Day Nursery Efford for a few months now. Following the lockdown, she was and still can be very clingy and anxious of new people. The nursery staff worked with her on this giving lots of reassurance and she now goes in smiling and comes home full of stories about her day. It is a lovely setting with lots of opportunities for her to learn and try new things. I love the regular photos and updates on her latest adventures and things she has been doing. The staff are really lovely and always have the time to tell me about her day.

April 26, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son had previously attended a different nursery which unfortunately had to close. Tops is very close to our house though, so we went to view – from the moment he walked in, my son loved it, the toys and set-up are amazing (he particularly likes the fact that some parts are real items made safe – eg real phones/tv remotes to play with) the rooms are very inviting and welcoming, the staff are lovely, and the outdoor area is brilliant too. The menu always sounds delicious. We love that they offer a lot of opportunities for outside play, too! Along with all that, their emphasis on sustainability is something that aligns with our own ethics at home, too.

Our daughter has struggled with her speech, and they have shown complete support and have been committed to helping her. Only disappointment is that the Tops Efford building is still out of action and travelling to another branch is not convenient.
