March 26, 2021 at 12:00 amOur daughter has been going to hdc Kingsteignton since September last year. The staff are brilliant and our daughter always looks happy to see them. We have been amazed at how much she has developed during her time at hdc Kingsteignton and believe the staff and their teaching practices have been instrumental to her learning.

The flexibility of the nursery hours is so convenient for me and my husband who both work shifts. I would recommend anyone to use this facility, thank you for everything!

March 28, 2021 at 12:00 amBoth my boys have attended hdc Kingsteignton and I have always been very impressed with the communication between staff and ourselves as parents. When my eldest was there he had issues with his knee and walking and after he had his operation they were fantastic and kept us informed if he was struggling. My youngest had to have eye drops after an eye operation and they did everything perfectly, the procedure, paperwork and ensuring the eye drops were back in the bag ready for collection. Due to Covid-19 I have not been in the nursery since my little ones settling in sessions, as drop off and pick up are outside. I would recommend this nursery. My boys faces when they are leaving would confirm this.

March 28, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son loves going to nursery and doesn’t stop talking when I pick him up. He is always so excited to share the adventures he has had that day and the exciting things he has learnt. All the staff are great and I would recommend hdc Kingsteignton one hundred percent.

March 28, 2021 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been coming to hdc Kingsteignton for six months now and it’s the highlight of her week, she absolutely loves it. She’s made some special relationships with other children and has a good relationship with the lovely staff. They’re great at communicating via the app and keeping us up to date with her development with pictures and regular developmental reviews. If we have any worries they always help to ease them! They also provide an excellent variety of healthy food. I would one hundred percent recommend this nursery to anyone.

March 28, 2021 at 12:00 amMy little boy has been going to the nursery since the first week it opened and I have seen it from being very quiet to the busy thriving setting it is now. My little one is now in the preschool room and loves it. He skips in happily every day and the staff who look after him are amazing. There is a real ethos of child led learning, where the preschoolers are able to choose the activities to suit their interests. I am happy that he enjoys it there and cannot fault the team at all.

November 17, 2022 at 12:00 amOur daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The team are always happy to see her and make her feel very welcome. Ever since day one she’s gone to nursery with a big smile on her face.
The team always give us a run down on how her day has been when we collect her.
The app is very useful, allowing us to keep up with what she’s eaten/done during the day.
Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery and would have no problem recommending HDC to anyone.

November 18, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son only started in September but he has settled really well and is happy at hdc Kingsteignton, making me comfortable leaving him and excited to see him when I collect him, knowing how much fun he will have had.
The app is fantastic and is updated regularly, with photos as well as meals eaten, which is really reassuring to see when you have to leave your little one.
The staff are all lovely and make an effort to let you know about little one’s day. They are very caring and are good at adapting to the needs of the child.

November 21, 2022 at 12:00 amAbsolutely all members of the staff are lovely, they really show they care and my daughter greets them like a family member. They regularly share what she’s up to and keep the app up to date. Even staff that aren’t her immediate carers know her by sight and say hello to her. We feel very fortunate to be able to send our daughter to such a lovely place. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

May 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWas a great nursery in the past worthy of five stars, the past 6+ months more like 1-3 stars as we’ve had some issues regarding rising fees and the lowering quality of the service, hygiene/cleanliness seems to be falling, unacceptable staffing ratios, child coming home with unknown injuries and generally poor communication.
The floor staff are fantastic and try their hardest to provide fantastic attentive care. Unfortunately, some days there have not been enough of them to safely do this. We are also sad to see some staff have left/leaving however we can fully understand in light of the above why and wish them the best in their new jobs.
Hopefully, the above problems are just temporary and they will improve again in future. Especially considering the £7 a day price increase.

All the staff are extremely friendly and keep me well informed throughout the day with how she is doing. Every morning you are welcomed with a smile from all of the staff. Thank you

May 17, 2023 at 12:00 amOur little girl loves it here, all the kids seem very happy when we are there, the staff are great and nothing is too much trouble, always able to call or email about anything. Get lots of feedback and updates on learning and progress! Lots of activities like cooking, planting etc, lots of different foods introduced at nursery. Opening times are great and would highly recommend this nursery.

The staff are friendly and approachable and have great relationships with the children. The setting is clean and boasts many wonderful resources and activities.
I have recommended this nursery to many friends and anyone else who will listen.

My child (almost 4) has been at the nursery since he was 14 months and has loved his time through each stage of the nursery.

The staff are immense and is definitely a safe environment for little ones to grow their minds and have fun too. Our little boy is only 6 weeks old and we’ve already put him on the list to go here in February 2024.

They’re warm and friendly and I feel happy leaving my daughter with them all day. The handovers are great and I feel informed when I pick up.
The environment is clean, welcoming and open which is a great thing for me as it means the children can be observed by all at all times.

Our daughter will sadly be leaving soon to start school and I know she’ll miss the staff but she’ll leave with good memories. The nursery always feels clean, bright and welcoming with plenty of activities and choices for the children to do.
