December 30, 2024 at 1:10 pmThe manager is great and makes such an effort to get to know the little ones and their parents. Everyone makes an effort to get to know each other and even my little boy can name the adults and the other kids in other rooms. Access to the Astro pitch is a great space for the kids to run around and helps make up for the lack of immediate green space. My kid went to Charlton Nursery for four years from nine months and has progressed through each class. The food cooked by the chef is enjoyed by all and so nutritious. Every room leader has been attentive to his needs and helped him become the remarkable, assured little man he is today. Would strongly endorse.

March 22, 2025 at 7:07 amThrough each of the four rooms, they have been truly well cared for, stimulated and delighted! Our daughters both join Charlton and have done so since age 1. Every member of personnel has been cordial and built good relationships with them. Would wholeheartedly endorse. The food is excellent. The management team are attentive, welcoming and hard-working.

April 1, 2025 at 6:21 pmIn reality though when she was actually put in there, the room they have picked for babies is a exceptionally small compact space with little windows so not exceptionally bright and a truly rough carpet (office carpet), which is suitable to walk on with shoes no but NOT for babies who crawl on it and are prone to accidents. Day 1: My baby took a fall and gave herself a carpet burn, we did speak to the nursery setting manager and owner and they promised they will change it which never happened during the few months my baby was there. Furthermore, the activities laid out for babies during the day were minimal and not exceptionally varied so I felt my baby was not exceptionally pleased there. I was previously given a tour around the place and it seemed fine as you get to see everything so the bigger picture remains in memory. My girl was around 13 months then. As I work for a certain company it felt like a logical thing to put my little one at Charlton Nursery (Winterstoke Road) as I went back to work after maternity leave.

April 23, 2025 at 5:07 pmShe has enjoyed each class she has been in. The team are great, caring, cordial and always give you an update on how the day has been. The nursery setting has been a brilliant provision since day one. My eldest kid is about to leave Charlton Nursery (Bristol) after attending for over three years. We have recently moved out of the local area, but due to the standard of the provision have decided to keep my youngest at Charlton for another year or so until he starts school. Lovely sites, including an Astro and outside playtime space. The food is good and varied. I really like how all the team, regardless of whether she is in their class, seem to know who she is. The administration and contact are really good, and you get to see lots of photos of the activities they get up to during the day.

June 1, 2025 at 3:42 amThe food the kids are given is fantastic, and there is a wide range of activities and absorbing opportunities provided – I especially like the amount of messy games they do (as I try and steer away from this at home!). My eldest has gone all the way through from the baby room to the preschool and absolutely adored it there, and started school so well prepared and ahead of his peers in terms of literacy and numeracy – he couldn’t have been more ready thanks to the hard work of all the team. The correspondence between the nursery setting and parents is really good with an app used to convey the ‘BAU’ info such as nappy changes and food eaten which is really accommodating. My youngest is currently in the daffodil room and is settling back in really well post lockdown – again testament to the fantastic personnel who ensure they listen to the parents and little ones and follow and encourage their interests. I couldn’t advocate this nursery setting enthusiastically enough.
