Archfield House Nursery

Archfield is superb, lots of variety of things to do and food, my boy adores it there – he is well looked after, delighted and socialising. The management planning and updates at this particularly stressful and difficult time during a pandemic has been first‑rate and way over and above what I would have expected of any early‑years hub. We are grateful for the flexibility of breakfast club. They have been brilliant at keeping me in the loop with what he has been doing, how his day was, and we get lovely updates and useful good email communications every week. I’m so pleased with the interest and wonderful caring manner (and energy) of crew.

Our young lad is three-and-a-half and has been there for a few months since we relocated to Bristol. We enjoy the extensive outdoor space and that the kids can go to the forest and beach school. The facilities and activities are fantastic. We are so thrilled with the nursery setting. We are really pleased to have found this nursery setting and excited for our young lady to start when she turns one. The team are incredible, really creative, energetic and kind.

Our youngest young lad has been attending Archfield House for 3 years. The leadership, of both the whole nursery setting, and the individual rooms is excellent, and the team are the kindest, most loving team. In the previous few months alone, we have been to the Moon, hunting for dinosaurs and sailing the ocean on a pirate ship! I am constantly amazed by the range of activities that are provided; from Beach School (quite possibly the best childcare centre activity I have come across), Stretch and Grow, and Hunger Bugs, to the day to day games activities, such as the varied arts and craft activities and role games room. My boy has often struggled with the daily transition of home to childcare centre, but with the support and attention shown by all the crew, he feels protected and secure and I feel self‑assured that he is in a loving, kind and nurturing space all day. They work so hard to help the youngsters have fun and exciting experiences while achieving their exploring potential through playtime.

I couldn’t have had a better period. Excellent, well trained, caring crew. She did woodwork and adored it! Just visit, the joy and confidence of the kids is obvious and shines through. Lovely outdoor space, a chef in-house and a great pre-school provision with a qualified early years mentor. Imaginative and child-centred care with the bonus of exciting activities and attention to detail. It is first‑rate for a reason! My girl was with Archfield House from the age of 14 months until she went to school.

We have noticed how much the little ones are encouraged to be themselves. The help and encouragement from the team is fantastic and they really do nurture each kid to grow into a confident individual! Our young lady adores playing in the outside space with her imagination running wild but also adores to visit the quiet corner where she can sit and look at a book. She is so delighted and self‑assured there. I cannot speak enthusiastically enough of them – a wonderful place! Meals are made on the premises and are varied and strongly nutritious – the kids cherish them! There is always a huge range of activities to choose from and that the little ones are never bored. Our young lady moved to Archfield House from another childcare centre and we were naturally quite nervous about the transition. However, we found that she settled in immediately and was so excited to go to early‑years hub each day!

The personnel are always attentive, pleased to answer any queries. Staff extremely knowledgeable in early years education and in the moment engagement. Fantastic early‑years hub. They always respect each kid as an individual and bespoke their contact to suit what that kid needs, I always feel self‑assured my kid is listened to.

The attitude towards progress, advancement and getting ready for school is fantastic as well as the efforts to succeed and help youngster and parents. The personnel are skilful, supportive, approachable, dedicated and supportive. The environment is rich, educational, sustainable and secure. Archfield is an superb childcare centre which goes above and beyond for families, little ones and team. Food is healthy and nice.

My youngest will be joining the pre-school class in the summer and is really excited. The sites within Wise Owls offer so many opportunities for the kids. Every single attention worker has taken time to get to know each kid and to help them engage and develop to their maximum potential. Well done, Archfield! It has been a wonderful start for my youngsters. Archfield excels in so many areas – from Forest School and Beach School to hunger bugs, stretch and grow, family days but for me, the winner has to be sibling time. All 4 of my youngsters have been to Archfield and I cannot tell you how pleased we have been with the support they have each received. When my eldest started school, his reception educator told me that she can spot an Archfield kid in her class – they come ready for school; they are kind and full of enthusiasm. My youngsters cherish being together and this brought them the perfect balance of exploring to be independent but also being able to spend special time together.

The facilities are wonderful, with an fantastic outside space which they use daily and she is a real fan of the food cooked by the onsite chef. All the crew members are so kind and they all know her name, it really does feel like we are part of one big family there. They put on lots of extra activities throughout the year for all of us to take part in. The correspondence with parents is fantastic and someone is always available to talk things through if necessary. We are really glad that we chose Archfield House Nursery for our young lady.

They give a lovely space that is full of enrichment. He has gained confidence, empathy, intelligence and a heap of brilliant friends thanks to them. I am so thrilled with everything Archfield have provided for our boy.
