September 22, 2024 at 4:56 amLovely early‑years hub, enthusiastic & fantastic personnel who really support for the kids, get to know their personalities and have fun with them! Walks round the city, forest school and a pilot scheme to visit a residential home were all excellent ideas, especially given it’s a city centre early‑years hub. Always ready to listen to any concerns and had was given tailored care/support to address potty training issues.

October 19, 2024 at 12:02 amAs the youngsters have moved from each stage of support the transition has been managed well. We have online access to the children’s advancement with detailed comments, observations and photos. Staff are attentive to the children’s needs and give detailed feedback at handover/pickup time and in parents evenings. The feel of the early‑years hub is like a big family. Staff are helpful with parenting issues and offer advice and help. We have been using the nursery setting for both of our youngsters over the past 7 years and have been consistently impressed and thrilled with the attention provided by the personnel. We have been really pleased with the care offered.

October 25, 2024 at 6:53 pmThe location of the nursey is great for parents working in central Bristol and sites are absolutely the best in comparison to what other centrally located nurseries can offer. The setting, procedures, routines and activities are all well organised, food is great, all dietary needs are catered for and parents wishes are respected too. You receive daily handover at pick up so know exactly how the day went for your little one (something I was surprised to find out not all nurseries do!). My little one was truly pleased and eager to go to Becket Hall Day Nursery and I had all the confidence leaving him there every day, would enthusiastically advocate this nursery setting to any parent. Becket Hall Day Nursery management and crew are absolutely remarkable, dedicated and caring. My little one graduated over 2 months ago but still says Becket Hall is his favourite childcare centre; he made great friends there and mentions his key worker often too.

October 26, 2024 at 10:58 amI think every parent must wonder how in the world they do it! Forest school was fantastic, and the care home visits were sweet and kind and helped our kids develop so much more than just interacting with their own age. We are honest to god disappointed that we can’t send our new arrival there (but we’ve moved house closer to work to make school drop offs and pick ups easier for my girl). I enjoyed picking her up and dropping her off (though probably spent way too much time nattering to personnel and parents), and the garden is just fantastic. From the baby unit to preschool, the premises, personnel, and endeavours to go beyond the expectations of a childcare centre, everything is incredible. Cannot praise Becket Hall enough. Our little one made some incredible friends, ate foods she still refuses to eat at home, learned boundaries and rules, and was truly enjoyed by a lot of people who spent ten hours a day, five days a week, making sure our little girl was safe, delighted, educated, and developing.

November 8, 2024 at 3:31 pmShe has had many pleased years here due to the excellent relationships she formed with crew and other kids. The little ones seem to engage in a wide range of activities and she particularly enjoyed playing in the garden which is pretty large and exceptionally well equipped for a city centre childcare centre. Other day trips involved attending forest school which was also a great time. The Christmas concerts and the graduation ceremony were wonderful events for parents to join. Becket Hall involves the pre-school kids in a wonderful initiative where they visit older people in a local attention home. My girl joined Becket Hall from the age of ten months until she started school. I felt my young lady was truly well cared for during her time here and it was dismayed to see her leave!

November 22, 2024 at 10:04 pmShe absolutely enjoys it here and always has the best time; she talks about seeing her key worker all the time. The nursery setting has handled all the transitions really well, we’ve recently potty trained our little one and childcare centre were so helpful. We are really pleased to suggest this early‑years hub to other parents. They come up with such interesting activities every day! We are extremely pleased with Becket Hall. Our young lady started here aged 16months and is now 2.5 years. The crew are all really welcoming and always greet our little one by name.

December 14, 2024 at 3:11 amShe enjoyed being there at all stages, from the baby unit up through to the preschool department, so I would unquestioningly suggest Becket Hall. We found it to be a cordial, secure and caring setting, full of colour, activity and games. The dedicated personnel provided considerable opportunities for absorbing social competences as well as providing a gently structured exploring setting. Our little one spent 3 years being looked after part-time at Becket Hall.

December 21, 2024 at 6:52 pmThe moment I saw the outside space a Becket Hall I knew it was the place I wanted him to grow and flourish in and I am so pleased with that decision. My little one was enrolled at Becket Hall from age six months, through to starting school at four. I couldn’t endorse Becket Hall strongly enough, it is a treasure hidden away in the city centre! The crew are wonderful, so encouraging of the children’s advancement. There is a lovely community feel amongst the parents, I have developed great friendships, which has helped us all through four truly busy years.

December 24, 2024 at 7:22 pmBoth of my youngsters went to Becket Hall Day Nursery when they were just over a year, and stayed until going to school. Outings in the minibus to forest school were always truly much looked forward to. They enjoyed the large garden and appreciated spending lots of time outside. My girl especially adored sports activities and my little one played most days in the mud kitchen. I found the crew exceptionally receptive to any concerns I had, and open to ideas. There always seemed to be lots going on, and new ideas to keep the youngsters interested in things to do. This is a lovely nursery setting, with a great group of personnel creating a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for the kids.

Becket is a good size, well organised unit with superb sites including the outdoor games area which they use all year round. Staff go the extra mile and really attention about the kids. We have huge admiration for the caring nature of the team who are not afraid to comfort kids and make everyone feel welcome. All credit to a fantastic early‑years hub – both us and our little one can’t thank you enough for all the delighted, lasting memories. From the minute you leave your little one you know they are in safe hands and they will have a fun day.

They have developed strong bonds with the crew and a close network of friends. The outside space has provided exciting activities and adventure in the heart of the city. Becket Hall has provided a nurturing, thrilled and loving setting for our daughters preschool years. We could not have hoped for a better period for them.

Our young lady has a great time at Becket Hall pretty much every day that she’s there. We are extremely delighted with Becket Hall.

The crew are enthusiastic and caring, and the kids are given many outlets to express themselves within the nursery setting and on trips out. The record keeping of the nursery setting is detailed and helps assure you that your kids are being kept truly active physically and mentally.

May 13, 2025 at 1:32 pmI can confidently say that 7 months in, we could not be happier with Becket Hall and all the credit goes to their incredible team. They’re caring, loving and overall just brilliant. Each of the workers that have been with our baby, whether caring for her regularly or on an ad-hoc basis, has been incredible. The early‑years hub is a protected, thrilled and stimulating place for the kids and they clearly enjoy being there. We advocate it to anyone that is thinking about a childcare centre for their youngster. As new parents, we were exceptionally nervous about taking our then 9-month old baby to childcare centre, not only because you don’t know how the settling in is going to be, but also because you worry about so many things. It’s not just looking after the babies and little ones, it’s about encouraging them, nurturing them and teaching them, it’s about taking guidance from parents but also advising when they need to.

My eldest was here from 1 year to 4 years and had a wonderful time. I cherish seeing the photos of the great time she is having. It’s fantastic that they take the little ones out on day trips, to forest school and to the old peoples home. Facilities are great, the team are wonderful, so exceptionally caring.
