October 2, 2024 at 7:30 amMy three year old is thriving at this early‑years hub. She’s been attending since late 2021 and moved from babies to bouncies and is now in preschool. The personnel are incredible and go above and beyond. Her vocabulary has expanded, her discovering astonishes me and she’s so well-socialised with other little ones and adults.

October 14, 2024 at 7:59 pmOur little one has thrived and he comes home every day with a new story about something he has learned that day. We have had a truly positive time here – the team are attentive and caring and the administrative side is organised and efficient.

November 10, 2024 at 12:30 pmOur son’s main educator and all support team have been incredibly caring as our young lad adjusted to a big change of location and situation over the previous four months. The updates throughout the day have been hugely welcomed, and show our boy engaged in a broad range of activities, indoor and outdoor playtime, and mainly show the fun and warmth that is evident in the space. He is making friends quickly and bonding with his instructors, and we are extremely grateful for the help and flexibility they’ve shown.

November 19, 2024 at 7:55 pmI feel they are totally on board with the recommendations from the speech therapist. They are also fully behind any wins my young lad gets and are always keen to share when he is doing well with genuine pride and joy. We are exceptionally pleased with the way Mama Bear’s has taken on board the difficulties my young lad is experiencing with speech. Thank you Mama Bear’s! He enjoys himself there but I also feel he is being thoroughly supported in his progress there too.

November 25, 2024 at 5:09 pmI am overjoyed with this place and cannot imagine a better one for my little one! I am 100% recommending this place! There is a variety of activities and the general playtime space is well designed to suit kids’ needs. The updates through the app with the daily updates, photos and individual headway, as well as in person, is really good. My daughter’s additional needs are constantly reviewed and the team are doing an extremely good job to help with her growth and to help with her individual needs. She is truly thrilled in the nursery setting and doesn’t want to go back home at the end of the day. Since the start of new manager they went through a massive and positive makeover, providing exceptional childcare now. I am truly pleased with the Mama Bear’s Totterdown time.

January 27, 2025 at 3:26 pmWe have been truly pleased with the approach from team to our children’s needs, treating them as individuals with specific approaches and care for them as required. The nursery setting is well managed, correspondence with parents is good and we have been pleased with the way that the early‑years hub has approached the preceding year, with its unique challenges. We have been really delighted with Mama Bear’s Day Nursery & Pre-School (Totterdown). Our little one has been through all of the age-ranged rooms since babies and is now in preschool and our little one is in babies. We would advocate this nursery setting to others looking for a wonderful setting for their little ones.

February 22, 2025 at 3:53 amIt is a extremely good childcare centre to go to, as my boy enjoys going there. The crew are extremely good and accommodating. He likes all the new activities. If the youngster does not turn up at the childcare centre, they always ring to make sure everything is ok.

March 4, 2025 at 4:52 amThe team are exceptionally engaged and helpful of the kids and us as parents, taking the time to keep us up to date throughout the day via the app and also at drop-off and pick-up. Highly endorse. The childcare centre provides the youngsters with a varied range of indoor and outdoor activities which support their discovering and advancement and they have developed lovely friendships with not only the other little ones but the team there too – who they talk about happily when they come home. We are also able to arrange a call during the day with our children’s key person if there is anything we would like to discuss in more detail. We have two little ones at Mama Bears who enjoy their time there.

April 24, 2025 at 5:18 pmMy young lady has been coming to Mama Bear’s the bush at Totterdown now since September 2022 and she absolutely adores coming to nursery setting, she does two days a week and we never have any tears at drop off. The changes I have seen in her are incredible and all of the team are so helpful. She practically runs in!

May 6, 2025 at 7:47 pmThe manager put in place a extremely comprehensive improvement plan: team enrol at training regularly in a variety of things, parents are informed throughout the day via the app and when picking up kids of what they did in terms of playing, who their friends are, what they ate, sleep, etc. They have a library where little ones can borrow books to take home. The correspondence with parents is great; they send out a monthly bulletin with exploring objectives for the different rooms and suggest activities to do at home to reinforce the exploring. These would be exceptionally difficult to recreate at home. Totally suggest. And most importantly, the team really attention about youngsters, they are exceptionally welcoming, and it is just such a nice place. My review is from the time the current manager joined, as the early‑years hub has better extremely significantly since. The place is spotless and bright, with plenty of things to do. They do so many different activities like exploring about dinosaurs, playing with lava and gardening.

May 7, 2025 at 1:53 pmThe crew are exceptionally attentive, they know him really well and I find the whole early‑years hub to be a bright pleased setting for his early year’s education and support. Our oldest went to Mama Bear’s and left in July prior year to start school. The crew are extremely informative, correspondence is excellent, our boy has a great time and rabbits on about his day all evening. He does lots of activities and is discovering new things all the time. He had a good time there but his brother who has been at Mama Bear’s for a year now absolutely enjoys it!

May 29, 2025 at 2:05 amShe adores going to the early‑years hub and she has made great friendships there. Staff are exceptionally caring and they help children’s progress well. I would endorse this childcare centre to everyone! They plan lots of exciting activities which are often based on children’s interests. My little one became more independent and is able to put her coat on by herself and use the toilet independently. At home, she sings lots of songs and recites stories she knows from the childcare centre.

June 14, 2025 at 1:00 pmThere is regular contact and updates about improvement your little one is making. There is good space at the early‑years hub with large bright rooms and a good size garden with climbing equipment. They know them well and what support they need. Safeguarding is good. The crew support about the little ones at the nursery setting. There is a good range of activities provided and parents are updated regularly with photos of what their little ones are doing.

July 1, 2025 at 11:10 pmTheir friendships are nurtured and they are encouraged to explore and develop their abilities. They always come home filthy, which is the sign of a good day! The personnel are aware of their individual needs and are always warm and welcoming. Overall a lovely setting and I would suggest exploring this as an option for your kid. My little ones look forward to attending early‑years hub.
